The transferred the information to my new laptop but failed to reset my old Dell laption back to factory default. Also, turned in my laptop in the box and when I picked it up; it was given to me without the box and no power cord. I had to go back inside to get a box and power cord. It took them over 20 minutes to do this. I had to speak to 3 different employees\.

I needed to have my files, etc. moved from my old laptop and they did a terrific job.

Love the Geeks.!! Always polite & knowledgeable about what ever problem you have. Would have given 5 stars if he had not forgotten to install one item. Forgave him as it was installed later. Probably should have given 5 stars anyway.

i liked the product I could not be sure I would do it correctly I feel i got the best service possible and it was worth the money i love the best buy store it is fabulous it is my new technology store i will not go anywhere else now

Geek Squad told be that they could transfer my data from my laptop in 2-3 days it ended up taking them only 1 day. And when I needed to pick what drive to transfer to they offered my 2 drives a small and a big both were on discount.

Old tower froze and no way could restart. While much has been saved to a cloud not all had been accomplished. Geek Squad was able to retrieve all information off hard drive and set up the new tower. Made my life so much easier and grateful for the help!

The data backup process went smoothly. When I mentioned I need Chrome downloaded they accommodated me promptly. It is comforting to have these services available as I am not very computer savvy. Thank you Geek Squad for being friendly, available and knowledgeable,

My old laptop would not start up. I was afraid I had lost everything I had stored on it or maybe I could get it from my security. I'm sure that would not have been easy. The geek squad was able to retrieve all my data and transfer it to my new laptop.

Thank you to the Geek squad who were able to wake up my dead laptop and transfer all of its contents to my new one. They were very patient as there was considerably more data on the old one and I had to get an external hard drive so they could complete the task

The Geek Squad were able to save the data on this failed drive even though it did not look promising. We retrieved valuable financial data that was essential to our business after both the backup and the internal drive had failed. Great job all around.

Took my laptop in Saturday morning for a hard drive data transfer to a new hard drive, which I also bought from Best Buy. They were able to transfer all the data, check if the old hard drive was corrupted, and get it back to me the same day!

The data transfer was completed sooner than promised. It works well. I was disappointed that this service isn’t covered in my membership. It should have been pointed out that it is not included in the membership.

I needed a new laptop to replace one that was dying. I have a business on Etsy so it was important for me to get my replacement laptop up and running quickly. I picked out a new laptop and it was loaded and ready to use in a day and a half.

I had just bought a surface pro laptop and needed to have all my data and files transferred from my old laptop to this new one. The Geek squad consists of a lot of different folks who are handling data transfer and computer set up, some were really good and some were not at all equipped to handle the job. The entire job took much longer than anticipated and I was without either laptop for at least 4 days. Even when I brought the new one home, there were still glitches but I was able to fix them. My advice is to find that one Geek squad person who like and communicate just with that person, or else you will get frustrated.

I was pleased with the fast and reliable data transfer that Geek Squad performed transferring my data and files from the conventional hard drive I replaced with a solid state hard drive for my Toshiba laptop! I would recommend to anyone needing a transfer.

The Geek Squad transferred all my data to my new external hard drive and kept it organized exactly how I had it on my old laptop. And it only took them half the time they said it would!

I also get the geek squad back up and transfer. They were fast and efficient getting my laptop back in a timely manner. Geek squad showed me that everything had been transferred and gave me my old hard drive before recycling my computer for me.
