Picture quality is amazing, refresh rate is awesome, even music videos that have fast transitions look great & smooth, size is decent, color and design are perfect, cables included are such great quality, tons of connectivity and ports, light weight, settings and customizations are great, user interface is nice and works perfect every time.

Outstanding monitor - it feels very high quality, it has tons of utility (swivels, rotates, slides up and down), and it looks amazing too. This is my first 1440p monitor and wow it's a worthwhile upgrade from 1080p, especially since it's 165hz. I've had zero issues while using it for both work and gaming, and I still can't believe the price (I got it on sale for $320). The hole in the neck part that you can stick cables through is a really nice touch for cable management, it's the little things like that that make me appreciate this as a well-designed monitor. I will say, one thing is the light strip that runs along the back feels like a gimmick; it's just a solid blue and you can barely tell it's there when you're using the monitor, it's just like a slight blue ambience you can see reflected off the wall behind the monitor. I don't see the point of it, but I keep it on, and at least you have the option to turn them off, I appreciate that flexibility.

It’s not the best monitor, but the best monitors cost a lot more! For this price I was satisfied with every aspect of this monitor. The 1440p and the 165Hz works perfectly on my Xbox series X. Yes the Xbox only can go up to 120fps, but this monitor can future proof when you switch to pc gaming and take full advantage of the 165hz. Also, this monitor is on sale a lot so the price is even better.

High quality QHD monitor with a high refresh rate and quick gray to gray response times. Color accuracy is great and games look stunning. Assembly is also easy and straightforward. Only slight negative is that the contrast is a bit below average, so black levels aren't deep.

I had just finished building a gaming desktop, and I needed a monitor. It had to be 24" - 27" because I am in a small space and didn't have room for an ultrawide. I knew I wanted QHD (I also do work on the PC and like that crisp text) and I wanted 122hz or higher refresh rate (for pwning those n00bs). This Dell has just appeared on BestBuy, and there were not only no reviews there, I couldn't find reviews anyplace. But it checked all my shopping boxes, so I took the chance. The screen is great; it's bright, crisp, has great viewing angles and when I get get those 165Hz going, it just looks amazing (it's being driven by a 2080 Super). The stand takes up a reasonable amount of space (some 27" monitors just have huge stands). It's got some RGB in the back for a little of the ol' razzle dazzle. I bought an LG UltraGear for my wife with similar specs, and I like this brightness and colors on this Dell better. I would say it's one of the best 27" gaming monitors you can find. Best Use Case: You have a gaming rig that can drive QHD and high refresh rates. Worst Use Case: You have the space for something bigger. Ultrawide, anyone?

Excellent monitor, clear and vivid colors, in a completely dark room if you display a black screen you can see IPS glow and some backlight bleed, however under normal use you will never notice it. Waiting to get a new video card to test out g-sync and 165Hz. Love the monitor, can't beat the price.

Amazing color, clarity, and brightness. The buttons feel great, and the joystick-ish one is very useful. 165 hz works off the top, and this is G-Sync compatible. HDR looks like eh,, but i don't really watch HDR content. 1440p runs awesome. the pixel density is amazing. I wish I had two of these! Software is good.

Worth every penny!! I got this to play my xbox on & display is beautiful. I almost feel like I lag less bc of the faster refresh rate. I love that it has an adjustable height & can rotate for easy access to the back. Also, has buttons on to adjust the settings, which is great cuz it isn't connected to a pc

Monitor is good value and works as advertised. If your rig is capable of 165 hz, you cant go wrong with this product. If its capable of more than 165 hz, consistently, go with a different monitor. But in the 165 hz class, theres only a few monitors that will outperform this one.

Been over a year since I bought this but it has worked well for my gaming needs. Am able to utilize the full power of my 3070 GPU at 165Hz at max settings in my games. Great picture quality and response times.

So this will be short and simple, I had the previous generation of this monitor. And for what that one was it did well! But Dell did amazing with this S2721, the color is absolutely gorgeous I didn’t realize just how much I was missing with a TN panel. GeForce works like a dream (my older model said it was compatible but it is not), the updated design in the button layout is amazing too. A lot easier to traverse the menus. The simple blue back light is a nice touch it’s not bright but not dull either. And for the price it’s a steal, it regularly goes on sale for around 320. For 1440P, 165 HZ, IPS, GeForce/Freesync, it’s GREAT. Also the sturdiness of this monitor, it’s built well too. If you get this you won’t be disappointed I plan to get a second one to replace my older one.

Great gaming monitor for the price. Colors look good and no dead pixels. The background led is annoying but you can turn if off in the menu. I would recommend this for all gamers who don't want to spend extra for 4k but also get 165 mhz.

This is the first "new" monitor I've purchased since 2010, and boy has the tech improved. I have a GTX 1070 and play most games comfortably at 60 hz, 1080p, graphics on high or ultra. However, I noticed there was some input lag on my old monitor when playing pvp games, so I opted for this. Reviews were good, the response time was < 1 ms, and the refresh rate was high. In 2 months I have climbed from the top 30% to the top 10% in my main pvp game, and I have not played any more or less than I normally do. The improvement in resolution and response time has allowed me to see details I previously could not. I can't speak for competitors, but this monitor's color, resolution, refresh rate, response time, and aesthetic are all excellent. I have had no issues whatsoever, and will be recommending this to all of my friends whenever they need to upgrade their monitors.

This is great quality monitor for the price , if you can get this on a discount when bestbuy does it , i suggest you get it because its the best bang for you buck monitor! Its IPS , 27inch , 1440p and 165hz refresh rate for gaming and it includes G-Sync to reduce screen tear oh and it has HDR! its also mountable with VESA for $299.99 plus tax , you can't go wrong! For gaming IPS is gonna be your best choice, I also got the 32inch curved VA panel monitor side by side with this one and I can say that the color of the IPS definitely stands out way more that the 32 inch monitor!

Very awesome monitor for gaming. Lot's of different presets/options (including overclocking). The colors are exemplary, and perfect for gaming and streaming TV. Great price for an IPS 1440p monitor. If I had 2 heads, I would buy it again!

Great monitor - get it on sale at $300 or under, unbeatable performance and size - legs do not protrude, constraning desk. Great feature set and Dell Display Manager 2.0 works seamlessly to switch profiles when I'm gaming.

Best monitor I've ever used, Colors are wonderful, 165 hz makes every competitive game look buttery smooth. Only negative is the far bottom left corner has slight IPS glow, but impossible to notice in neutral scenes.
