Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the S3220DGF monitor's screen size, refresh rate, and resolution, frequently praising its suitability for gaming and work. Many appreciate the monitor's quality, HDR capabilities, and FreeSync technology, although some noted the absence of built-in speakers and the monitor's weight as drawbacks. A few users reported issues with dead pixels or ghosting, but these concerns were less prevalent than positive feedback. The curved screen is also a feature that many users enjoyed.

Bought this for an open box deal and Im confused on why whoever originally bought it returned it. Has great resolution, graphics appear lovely, having the curved screen is great but most of all I love how i can adjust the height and angle how i want it

Great monitor, especially for the price. Don't go into this expecting the quality from a $1000 monitor. You get a clean crisp picture, good color, and the specs add up. Lots of real estate, 1440p and 165Hz is a great combo. Would recommend if you're looking for a larger monitor.

I was afraid of going away from a IPS panel after a bad experience with the S2716DG and terrible colors, but I wanted a fast refresh rate. This monitor exceeded my expectations and I am absolutely in love with it. It doesn't provide super vivid colors like an IPS panel (its a VA after all), but the colors are still beyond acceptable. I do not notice any ghosting, and I have not ran into any issues, even when enabling G-Sync.

Love this monitor! I use it for gaming as well as editing photos and videos. As with any monitor, you will want to calibrate it for the latter. Fits great on my desk and is large enough so I can read text fine.

A great luxury for work at home use/Treat yourself

With the move to work from home becoming more permanent for many workers, the cheaper and smaller monitors you used everyday in the office are no longer cutting it when we are spending more time sitting in front of the computer versus visiting at the copier or water cooler. When you think about your eyes and your efficiency everyday in a home office, the screen and screen size you use is probably one of the greatest luxuries you can buy yourself (outside of a great office chair) if your company won’t foot the bill. This monitor is significantly better quality than a higher end, 30”+ Samsung monitor I have sitting right next to this one everyday that is only a couple years old itself. The difference in quality and viewing angle are significant and worth the price.

The Monitor has a great feature set for the sale price. HDR and 165Hz refresh on a 32" monitor at this price point is unusual. So, far the gaming experience is good and I also use it for work related tasks as well. The only issue I ran into was a driver related display issue where all the colors would look washed out after the screen would come back after poser save mode. Updating Nvidia drivers fixed the issue.

    A review for the gamers

Okay I'm here for the gamers, yes it can work as an everyday monitor and looks amazing but how does it hold up gameing? For consoles you will notice the difference, the problem is most gameing on consoles ( I have all new gen ) is capped at 60 hz. So you might as well put the monitor into 4k hdr 60 hz mode ( yes you can do that). When I pc game it's amazing. IV gotten All the way up to 144 hz 2k with it without a hiccup. It does have cons that are unforseen. It's big 32 in yes but it has a larger looking profile due to the curve. Hdr and the best game modes are not enabled out the box, this is minor but still a con because if you don't look you won't notice. All in all 5 stars I was luck enough to get it on sale for 323 open box but I would recommend this any price under 400.

1440p (2K) 165hz, HDR, 1800r curvature (1500r is way too aggressive). Best version of freesync, although freesync and amd drivers in general are finicky and glitchy at times. Great monitor if you can get it for 400$ or less especially.

I've got 2 of these monitors, and they've been awesome. Dell makes a great monitor, and the HDR is great. Rock solid construction and value compared to similar 165 mhz monitors this size with HDR.

The experience started with the set up. I couldn't believe how easy it was, you don't even need a single tool, everything has it's own fastener and mounting the stand to the monitor itself was as simple as "click." Very impressed. After making some software changes to the monitor in Nvidia Control panel and in the monitor itself (most importantly color vibrancy to 65%-85%) I can say that this is the nicest monitor I've ever had. Battlefront 2 and Microsoft flight sim have never looked so good. Currently have it sitting next to my old 27" 1080p 60hz monitor, and after a week of having it I definitely want another one and my old monitor looks small. For a good hour I just dragged windows across the desktop marveling in the refresh rate. Cons: None

I was looking for a 32" monitor with at least a 144 MHz to replace an older 27" monitor. This fit the bill perfectly. I did manage to buy it on sale for about $100 cheaper. The stand is sturdy and adjustable. It works for gaming.

Just picked this up the other day. I would recommend if you're not looking for the best of the best. The HDR is low by todays standards but still looks great. 1440p is becoming the new 1080p when it comes to monitors and gaming. 4k is coming but it's just not quite there yet in terms of pricing and parts. First time owning a curved monitor and i'll never go back when it comes to gaming. First time experiencing refresh rates higher than 60hz as well. It's a game changer for sure. It will take some tweaking to set all the colors/brightness/saturation/hue as well as the different HDR modes the display comes with. The stand tilts, swivels, and adjusts height. Is vesa mountable. All in all I would buy again and I might in the future for a 3rd monitor.

Great for gaming, not so great for office use

I have looked at a TON of reviews for this monitor, and I could go on all day about VA vs. IPS panels, QHD at 32" vs 27", contrast levels, backlight bleed, ghosting, etc. To sum it up, though, this monitor is great for gaming, as the size, resolution, color, viewing angles, contrast, response time, curvature are all outstanding. I was planning on using this for my at-home office work as well, however, and many of the criticisms of qhd/2k resolution at 32" are true, as text just isn't sharp enough for multi-hour use during office work (browsing, Word docs, Excel, emails, etc.). I ended up returning this and getting the S2721dgf, which is a Dell 27" IPS QHD variant which should take care of all of this. That said, if you have no intention of using this for office work at all and use it solely for gaming and/or media consumption, this is an outstanding monitor. Can't give it 5 stars for the lack of text sharpness at native resolution, but everything else is amazing!

Excellent monitor but not great with G-Sync

165hz refresh, 32 inch, curved, great colors, motion blur is minimal. LITERAL perfect monitor if not for the fact that it does not work well with G-Sync enabled. Even though it is Freesync 2 (AMD) and NVidia now allows for Freesync monitors to work with G-Sync, DO NOT recommend it unless theyre listed as G-SYNC COMPATIBLE, as part of a growing list straight from NVidia site. That said, this monitor specifically, monitor will flicker or just go black for a few seconds if you enable Freesync + Gsync unfortunately. I'm using Vertical Sync ON in all my game with Freesync disabled however, and works just fine for me. So regardless of this not working well with Gsync, I think its still a great monitor given the specs, and especially given the price, which I paid $350 on sale for it. Would recommend.

I bought this monitor for my sons new Lenovo Legion i7 and was pleasantly surprised with the Dell design and build. It’s a far cry from the basic white girl Dell office monitors of my past. This 32” curved display is certainly a focal point of any setup. It’s not flashy like a typical gaming monitor but with the curved screen it doesn’t need it. Make sure wherever you’re going to install this that you have plenty of space to sit at the appropriate distance and angle. It has 165 Hz refresh rate which is more than enough for most games. It also would be incredible as an editing/design display as well. All in all an impressive display without all the bells and whistles at a reasonable price.
