Great thermostat thus far!!! Easy to install.... Love the app.... Highly recommend

The main reason I got this is because I had no problem spending money and also I can control it with Apple HomeKit. This paired with the smart sensors have made my house very cool especially since my ac unit is on the first level and all the hot air rises. The only problem was that it took a long time to figure out to install because my ac unit was a little older.

The setup was easy and it links to all our devices; Alexa, Xfinity, phones.

We replaced our old Nest thermostat with this Ecobee because our Nest was not working well with our A/C system. The A/C repair guy suggested the Ecobee because he'd seen better performance from it. So far, it is working much better. I did prefer the rotaing dial on the Nest to the touchscreen on the Ecobee though.

Got the product because the price was better then the competitors. Works great and easy to use.

I got the ecobee and installed it myself in 40 min. Great product and very simple to operate.

It's everything they claim. Easy to install and link with Alexa. We had a "smart" thermostat before but the buttons became almost unresponsive. Ecobee responds easily to touch. We're very happy.

This was exactly what I was looking for...it's easy to set-up and read -- so easy, my kids can do it! Integrates seamlessly with our smart home system. Thoughtfully designed to illuminate when you’re nearby, and I can check the temperature, humidity, and 5-day weather forecast. Fits beautifully into our home.

Great smart thermostat. Easy to use and easy to set up

Has AC overcool which is much needed for Houston's climate. Easy to install. Has many features. If I didn't have so many Alexas already, I would have likely gone with the newer one. If you get this, download the Beestat program because it gives you better graphs. I intend to hook this up to my Smartthings hub and add the Ecobee Suite next month for even better control.

easy to install works fine room sensor for bigger space

Simple setup. I love the fact I can control with my phone from anywhere.

This is the third Ecobee 3 I have installed in my homes - 2 Lites and 1 with sensors. The Lite version is the way to go. We have had little luck with the sensors and use that thermostat like a Lite. I installed this purchase on an oil fired, hot water baseboard system in our weekend house. Because the thermostats in this house only have two wires I needed to purchase a FastStat Common Maker to install at the furnace and at the thermostat. I followed the directions on the Ecobee support page. It took me about 30 minutes start to finish and the zone operates perfectly. Now we can set the heat up in the weekend house before we leave home and the house will be nice and toasty when we arrive. The thermostat shows up in the Ecobee App with our other two thermostats. When we leave at the end of the weekend, we just use the app to put the thermostat in away mode. Super easy. We can also monitor the temperature in the house using the app in case the heat stops working (provided power and internet stay on). I confirmed the Ecobee does not require an internet connection to function and will resume its program after a power outage. This was important for this application as the internet service here has poor reliability and power outages are common in the mountains. I tried this out by killing the power to the house and then turning it back on a few minutes later. The Ecobee reconnected and resumed its program. We love our Ecobees. It is rare to find a product that really lives up to its promise and the Ecobee delivers.

Great functionality with multiple settings. Very easy to install and set up.

Thermostat was easy to install, need a C wire to work though, so you need to check your existing wiring. I was able to set it up with my WiFi and connect to Alexa. I can use the smart app for commands as well as Alexa voice commands to change the settings. It can also be programmed to change settings on a time schedule.
