Cleaning
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of the best purchases i have ever made! My grandmother could not do much around her house after an accident and we all have busy schedules so i got her this and it works on its own. You can set a time for it to clean, name it, and cleaning it once a week will do.

Works great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve always wanted on of these but too pricey. Bought at pre Black Friday sale and it works great, it can also mop floors. Only negative part is it has a problem finding docking station. I’ve had to pick it up to set in front of station to dock

Deebot knows what it is doing!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have you ever had a kid that seemed to have the ability to get into virtually anything? You know, when you try to put things away or hide them or keep a kid from getting into a cabinet but somehow they always managed to do so anyways? Or, have you had a kid that you could hear playing in the other room and then suddenly everything got really quiet and you're thinking, "Oh no, what have they gotten into now?" When you check on them, sure enough, they've gotten into something they shouldn't have... By now I bet you're thinking, "What in the world does a kid have to do with the Deebot U2? Let me explain. The first few times I tried to use Deebot, I didn't have my floor organized enough for it to do its thing. It got stuck several times, managed to get tangled up in some speaker wires I had running next to a wall, and somehow managed to climb on top of some folded boxes I had sitting on the ground and got high-centered. I got a little frustrated at first, because I had to babysit Deebot and make sure it was able to get everywhere it had to go without getting stuck or causing mischief (when it tangled my speaker wires up in the brushes and got stuck, I was a little ticked at it). There were three times in the initial runs when I realized I didn't hear Deebot anymore. I walked around muttering to myself, searching for it. Where the heck is it? What is it doing? One of the times I found it high centered on a floor lamp base. It got on, couldn't get off, and sat there with a blinking red light, mournfully waiting for me to rescue it. Another time, it wedged itself behind my son's tuba case and couldn't figure out how to get out. And finally, a third time, it pushed open a door I had closed to a crack and started cleaning a room that I hadn't expected it to clean. It got tangled in some power cords and shut down. I was thinking to myself, "Dang, Deebot is like a little kid, always getting into places and doing things I don't want it to!" My kids even gave Deebot a name. They named it after a couple of nephews who are rather crazy kids. Regardless of these little hiccups, Deebot knew how to clean. It effectively cleaned my entire downstairs in auto mode, getting under my kitchen table, around my couches and sofas, into my formal living room, into the formal dining room and around the island in my kitchen. And when it was done, a lady's voice spoke from it, saying it was done and heading to recharge. It found its own way 'home' to the recharging station. It charged in a few hours and was ready to go again. Wondering what I could do to keep from having to babysit Deebot, I reread the instructions. They say to keep the floor organized and picked up so Deebot can make its way around without getting stuck, and that's what I did. I paid attention to where Deebot had problems and organized the area so it wouldn't get stuck. The payoff was immediate. Now I can use the phone app to release Deebot for auto cleaning. For almost an hour it rolls through my 1,800 square foot downstairs, vacuuming the place easily. I don't have to watch it, I don't have to worry about it, I just let it do its thing. Two rooms with carpet and the rest with tile, easily cleaned without me having to leave my couch. Deebot knows what it is doing. My kids think it is cute... I don't know about that, but I let the thing do its thing, and it does it extremely well. I also tried the edging function using the app. If you face the Deebot the right way, a little trial and error involved, you can watch as it runs down every wall in your room and puts a cleaning on it. It was kind of hit and miss for me, but it works for the most part. I like the spot cleaning function. Just set Deebot in the center of the room with some water in it and the mop cloth and hit spot clean on the app. It spins round and round in ever-widening circles until it has cleaned the area you placed it in. When I first started using Deebot, I considered it more hassle than it was worth. I might have called it some bad names when it got tangled in stuff I had on the floor. But like any good parent, I realized that my parenting skills could be better, and I made it so Deebot could succeed. I moved stuff that could cause problems for Deebot and let it play and do its job. I've seen other robot vacuums that cost quite a bit more, but Deebot does just as good of a job and for cheaper. I only have one complaint- if you want to keep Deebot out of certain areas, you can place magnets, which are sold separately, that the Deebot recognizes and avoids. None of those magnets come with the Deebot, which is a bummer. They have to be purchased separately, and if I had known I could have done so and been able to keep Deebot clear of a few places I would have rather it not gone. Other than that, this has been an enjoyable time. Be patient with Deebot, and make sure it has plenty of space to run. It is nice to come home to a dust-free, clean floor.

Much improved from doing myself the old ways
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first robotic vacuum. It help me mop and vaccum the woodend floor and carpets which I use to mop and vacuum using my hand. When my kids spill food and drink onto the floor and run with the dirty shoes in the house, I use the robotic vacuum to mop for me which I no need to mop myself.

Okay
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Im honestly happy and sad about this purchase. The vacuum dies so quickly but it does do a good job vacuuming. I love that I dont have to do the work anymore, but this vacuum is not stress free.

Great producet
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This works better than my iRobot and it mopes. I love it for keeping the floor clean between mops especially since I have a 67lb dog inside the house. It does leave lots of water behind when it mops but I am okay with that. I got it about $70 off so great buy!

Pretty basic robot vac
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited to try something that could clean my vinyl floors. Pros: Loved the battery life of this robot vac. It also did not seem to get stuck even in tight places like under dining table. Cons: not as efficient if you have pets. The canister got filled up really quickly and my dogs are not heavy shedders. The pattern was pretty random, this model did not seem to have the layout stored when I looked in the app. Did not try the mop and ended up returning it. This may work well if you have no pets and can leave it to run uninterrupted to clean.

Meh...
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It vacuums well but it doesn’t seem to navigate around as easily or intelligently as the roomba products. I was stupid and threw the box away after I saw it worked the first time, but at this point I have to flip chairs over in my living room and sit my coffee table on my couch so it doesn’t get trapped. If I hadn’t gotten rid of the box I would return it and pay the extra $50 for the roomba

Great for the price!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great little machine! It's our first robovac so weren't sure what to expect; we've been pleasantly surprised. Bottom line; she gets the job done with the dry vac, not quite so good with the wet mop option. Unpacking & getting started was a breeze, just followed the included instructions. Got the app, on my iPhone & my wife's Android. Make sure, when connecting to your wifi, that you select the 2.4Ghz option, she doesn't like the higher frequency. You don't really need the wifi, you can just press her button to start cleaning, she'll sense if you are dusting or mopping by the addition of the mopping pad. But with the app, you have many extra bells & whistles, plus she'll text you if she gets stuck or entangled in loose wires...she has a real appetite for rug fringes, extension cords, etc! I don't know what cleaning algorithm she uses; she seems to change direction on a random basis, also when she meets an obstacle, she'll sometimes navigate around it, other times take off on a tangent. Watching her work, it seems she re-does some spots multiple times, but she seems to cover everywhere eventually. In the mopping option, she tries to go in parallel lines, but sometimes gets confused by obstacles or odd-shaped rooms, and on ours, the water dispenser seems erratic, with some swaths left very wet, other places hardly any traces of moisture. She doesn't do a good job with dirty paw-prints: all she's really doing is dragging a microfiber cloth across the floor. We've stopped using the wet option, & if I was to do it over, I'd go with the slightly cheaper dry only model. A few things we've discovered: 1. We have an open-plan house, we've found we get far better results sectioning off rooms, moving her charging station as necessary & letting her do a bit at a time. She doesn't have a mapping facility or learning function like some more expensive models, so moving her charging station doesn't bother her, except... 2. Don't move her charging station once she's started a cleaning cycle. The one time I did, once she'd finished, she aimlessly wandered about the house till the battery was flat. Also, don't move her once she's started, she'll go over where she's been & miss other places. I've found it's best to "herd" her; stand in her way till she gets to where you want her to go. Make sure her charging station is against a flat wall with a couple feet each side of it. That helps her navigate back onto the charging pins. We started with it in a convenient corner, and sometimes she made it back, but other times she'd butt fruitlessly around it. 3. We have a couple of Lhassas that shed somewhat, & she's really good about picking up dog hair, but you've got to keep the roller clear, there's a handy little tool attached to the dust hopper that will cut away the hair, allowing you to pull it out. 4. Finally, I can't speak to how good she is on carpets. We have all wood floors, on which she's great. We have a couple smallish area rugs, which seem to be clean once she's finished, but they're Berber, don't know how she'd do on deep pile. Overall, at the price point, we're well pleased with the purchase.

Good product
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great robot for the price. Fills up the dirt holding container really good. Never used the mop option. Little harder to set up the software connect at first, but easy once it's already done if needed

Good affordable robot vacuum
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good but not great. Battery life isn't very long so it will not last long enough to clean 1200 sq ft. The added mopping feature is a nice bonus and it comes with extra parts.

Great for 2 months
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to love this vacuum and mop combo. At first, the vacuum and mop worked great. I have 3 dogs and would have this vacuum run everyday at 10a while I was at work. After a few weeks, it would say that it's stuck and to clear the area while in the middle of an empty floor. After contacting ecovacs, they said they would fix my issue since it was within the 1 year warranty of purchase. The back and forth took 2 weeks for them to send me a UPS label. It took another week for them to fix my vacuum and to get it back to me. I literally just opened the box since I desperately needed a vacuum on my hardwood and tiles floors. I set it down and it will only go 10 seconds before saying the brushes are tangled. I would clean whatever dog hair it picked up in the 10 seconds of working and restart it only to have it say the brushes are tangled. I bought this product on 8.20.21 and today is 10.29.21 so a little over 2 months, I had an issue, sent it to the manufacturer for them to fix, and have a new issue which makes my vacuum worthless. Do NOT waste your money on this!
