This game capture is great and easy to use. Also, it is really easy to stream with the integrated streaming on the application.

My son is capturing PS3 games and making videos to You Tube. He is is using the Elgato Game capture and it is a perfect tool for that.

I would recommend buying it. It works so good with my system. Im a gamer and love this product.

I was very happy with how easy this program is to use. This is an older model so price is better but if you are using for retron 5 or older consoles it's great!

The capture card worked the way it was advertised. We can use it for older game systems as well as new ones, which is what we wanted. So far, no problems with the capture card.

My son got this for Christmas, and we had the software preinstalled so that he could just plug in and play. It was easy enough to get started recording his videos. We did have some trouble getting the sound settings to work correctly so that he could hear sound while he was recording. Once he got the videos recorded, he became very frustrated getting them uploaded. It would be helpful to have some kind of instructions that would teach him about file sizes and downloading basics. I had to do a lot of research myself to help him figure things out (and I don't think we have it figured out yet). I'm not that excited about spending hours of my time researching and trying to figure it out! The bottom line with my son is to be able to publish the videos, and without that ability, the device will collect dust. I think the price is a little high, even though I did get it on sale for $129. I would never have paid $179 for it, though. I would only recommend this if you have the computer knowledge to upload the videos.

I bought this for my son who likes to do video game review on Youtube. He's used it a ton, and really likes it.

A lot of funky setups are generally required for the PS3 because of the HDCP. This is a pretty standard setup (if you've used other Elgato products) and works great. Sound and picture have been ok. A little bit of a higher delay if you're playing off the monitor but that is to be expected with this being an older card. Works well and have no complaints.

EL Gato game capture is really good, it's small, has only 3 wires, so it's not messy, it's easy to use after you get the hang of it

I love this product, I've been using it for a video capture and it does not lag like other products I have used easy upload to YouTube Facebook whatever you need

Very easy to use. Can be used on any HDMI port on other device to capture video and audio. Video quality is very good. Self power off the USB port..less cables. Video formats are limited... So you may need to use another application to convert. All in all.. Very good product and I would recommend it!

Out of all the capture devices I looked at online this one had the most positive praise. A few of the more-known products such as Happauge and Roxio had a bag of mixed reviews from users. I looked at Elgato and it was, and still is, highly praised. I went ahead and bought it and am currently loving it. Super easy setup and super easy to get accustom to. Wish the cords were a bit longer though, just nitpicking. Be sure to pick up an HDMI cable for your Xbox 360 if you plan on using it for that system, if you don't have one. Del-recommended. A++

My son and his friends use this product as part of their video game set up. They enjoy being able to record their video gaming and narrating their strategies while they play and then being able to upload to utube. It takes video gaming to a new level for them.
