This printer replaced a laser color printer with an expired drum cartridge. I was looking for a suitable and economical replacement without sacrificing speed. It also replaced an old visioneer scanner that I could only use with Windows XP. No Windows 10 drivers exist.
The printer was easy to set up under Windows 10. The only tricky part was getting the scan to PC working. It required a reboot of the PC for the firewall exception to be activated. Other than that everything went well.
I don't use the FAX option, so I can't comment on it.
The printer works very fast. It is a bit noisy, but quieter than the old laser printer. Printing a single page from standby is faster than the laser because it doesn't require a long warm up time. Very satisfied with the quality. I have only printer documents so far, so I can't comment on photo printing.
The scanner works plenty fast and I really like the document feeder and duplexer. The OCR program works well too.
Because both scanner and printer work well, it is no surprise that the copy function also works well.
I was deciding between this printer and the ET 2720. But in the end I didn't think the extra paper capacity we worth the additional money.
If you want a versatile all-in-one printer you can't go wrong with this one. Highly recommended!

The printer is low cost and easy to use. I love being able to connect it to both my computer and the kids' computers so everyone can print. I homeschool, so the kids being able to print school work out on their own is really useful. The ink is easy to fill, and it prints fairly quickly.

The printer is well functioned!. One of the inkjets stopped working, so as in the past, with other printers, I tried to open the unit so I could clean the heads, etc. The only problem is you can't physically get to the printer heads. I went through the electronic process to clean the heads and realign them, but still, no luck. I was sorely disappointed so I called Epson. Now, I didn't think anything substantial would happen - I just wanted to call to let them know that I was not pleased because I only had this printer for about a year. I explained my 'situation' and gave the customer service agent the serial number, she looked it up and said - "Your printer is still under warranty and we will send you a new one within a week." Wait, what? I couldn't believe it. I didn't have to tell "my story" over and over to multiple people and she didn't make a big deal about replacing the unit. I'm tellin' you, when companies have great customer service, they have my business for life! Good job, Epson!

I had the epson et-2850 that I had to gsp because some debris got into it when some installers were installing an A/C unit. Kept giving me an error code after that. I decided to gsp it and instead of getting the same model i decided to go for this model which is much cheaper. It does almost just as good. I do print some stuff that I sell on this printer. I use it for sublimation. It does almost just as good as the old one. I do believe this one has less pixels per square inch so you do get less detail on smaller prints but it works for me.

After a stream of maddening HPs and Canons, this Epsom printer is a breath of fresh air. It works quickly and consistently, and yes, the ink tanks are both easy to fill and vastly cheaper than cartridges. I especially like the windows that show the actual ink levels. Sometimes, low tech is the best tech.

I really am enjoying this new Epson EcoTank Printer. Setting it up was very easy. The liquid ink comes in 4 colors black, cyan, magenta, and yellow. There's a safety top on each color to prevent accidental spilling. It fits perfectly. I didn't like the fact that my printer doesn't have the color coding like how you see it on the website. Mine is just black. The start button is big and lighted. The touch screen is 2.7 inches which us big enough to see everything on the screen. I like that it can hold up to 250 sheets of paper. It can print double sided as well. The printer allows you print in different sheet sizes also.
Setting the printer up for wifi printing proved to be a little difficult. It took about an hour to my computer to set up with the printer. I finally got it to print and the prints were perfect. One thing that's weird is, when the print comes out face up, it snatches it back then pushes it out face down, like its copying on both sides when it's not. I checked to make sure that I didnt have it copying on both sides. Last issue I have, my computer keeps saying that there is no paper in the printer when clearly there is, but it still prints anyway.
It's a great printer and I'm enjoying printing and copying, I haven't faxed yet, but I will soon.

Very disappointed. I like the Eco Tank idea and the printer actually works very well. What disappointed me is that it WON'T print two-sided documents. I had purchased the hp tank printer and it did so I assumed that the Epson would, too, but no. Sure, I can print one page, turn it over and reinsert it, print the second page, etc, but that take four or five times the time that just printing both sides automatically would take. I DO NOT recommend this printer to anyone. DON'T get it. I wonder if they would take it back because it doesn't print the way I thought it would...
