We wanted a good, basic printer that wouldn't cost a fortune in ink. I had heard great things about the Epson EcoTank for a long time, and was expecting much more, even from a basic printer. First of all, this is a very lightweight, sort of cheaply made printer. It took forever to set this thing up. I'm not sure how much of that problem was user error, but honestly I just followed instructions. I knew going in that it couldn't print duplex, but we don't need that very often so I figured it wouldn't be a big deal to turn the paper over manually. My epic dissatisfaction at the moment is the fact that this printer won't print BORDERLESS unless it's 4 x 6 or 3.5 x 5. What? Are you serious, Epson? No matter what...I've spent hours today looking for a workaround. I tried all the tricks and nothing works. The printer is just okay. I think it was too expensive for what it is. Borderless in 2022 should be standard. Boo.

The only reason I give this one star is because the ink lasts forever, but it also hardly ever prints, so that's probably why. This printer is EXTREMELY slow. Like the sloth in the DMV in the movie Zootopia slow. Need to print a few pages? Get ready to wait an hour while the printer prints one or two lines and then needs to rest for several minutes. Everything is connected how it should be, I've uninstalled and reinstalled and reconnected and updated firmware and I'm currently on minute 15 of waiting for ONE page to print. Most of the time I try and print and it tells me the printer is not available. Then I go to the Epson app and it says everything is fine. I was also not aware that for nearly $200, this printer does not print double sided automatically... again, my boyfriend's $50 Epson printer surpasses this printer as it prints double sided, all by itself. This is the worst printer I've ever owned by far and is going in the dumpster as soon as I can afford a new (and different) printer.

Did not need it for a couple of months as we set up our new store. Went to use it and it no longer works. Re-set everything, ran every maintenance option there was and even plugged it directly into the computer with a cord and it DOES NOT WORK. Just what a new small business needs, a $260.00 paper weight. Will be returning to BestBuy and hoping they do the right thing. GET SOMETHING ELSE!!!
