Printer ink cartridges drove us to look for a better option. After some research, we centered onto Epson. We chose this model because we did not necessarily need a touch screen. So far (+6 mo of pretty heavy use)... printing has been easy for normal weight papers. Card Stock puts up a little more of a fuss. Placing the shorter stack in the tray slightly forward. Not pushing it all the eay back. Make sure to fan the stack too. It really makes a difference with card stock. Mass printing of full coverage. Watch the finished sheets. Discolored lines will show up on sheets. That is a marker that it is time to clean the printer head via the maintenance selection. So far that is the only thing that is a minor annoyance. It has only jammed up 3 times so far. And I have printed 3500 sheets. Copies are good. Scans are also good. Wireless printing is amazing. Being able to print from my phone is a game changer when I find some random recipe online. This printer has been great for us. Overall it has been significantly cheaper to operate due to the bottles of ink we can purchase vs the cartridges that have increased in cost and hold less ink then in the past.

Very easy to set up using a phone app. I was able to connect wireless right away using my windows laptop, but have issues wireless printing from a mac book; I would have to use the USB. The quality of the prints are great. Photo printing using the phone app is slightly muted and some images come out dark; no option to correct this. But for home photo prints, this is a great printer. The cost of the printer is well worth it compared to a printer that takes cartridges.

Very easy to use the printer. The only two things that I would love to have to have extra paper tray to this printer and the screen display is small and I am used to touch on the display instead of using the keys. But overall, it is nice to have large supertank for the color inks.

Have only used the printer a few times so far but the Eco Tank seems to make sense. Have printed color document, B&W documents - all are of good quality. Set up was easy, have it configured as a wired network printer, setup on Windows 10 computers easy, the Linux computer even found the printer when it came on line.

Very easy to setup, to connect to my phone and to use manually. Print from laptop easily and quality of copies is very good. Photos on photo paper excellent quality. Would recommend for sure just based on those things. I haven’t even mentioned that the ink level is still the same.

Love it. Easy to set up. For home office use. Quality of prints is excellent. Have made a decent number of copies and if I would have been using my old cartridge printer, ink would have gone down half by now. Ink level still almost full.

My only complaint is noise it makes. I'm still not used to it and it's loud as it starts off. Print quality is good and speed is great. I wasn't here wher tech installed it so missed basics like how to turn it off. The fact that u have to push 2 buttons took a bit to figure out. Overall we like it very much.

I replaced an ancient Epson XP400 all-in-one after it died and decided on this printer. I absolutely love Epson and believe they have superior printers with extremely affordable ink. This EcoTank model is the bomb... setup was a breeze and it is working great. My wife and I are both in master's programs so needless to say we do a lot of printing. This printer has not missed a beat... love it!

This printer is awesome! No more dealing with tiny /expensive rip off cartridges. This printer is easy to load and prints great. It's well worth it! I have been waiting for years for a printer like this. Printers at around the year 2000 were pretty good before some nefarious element decided to reduce ink with thise useless cartridges that would quick be used up. Im glad Epson has finally taken the bold step to make ink and printing a priority for writers like me.

The Epson EcoTank ET-3850 All-in-One Supertank Inkjet Printer is a game-changer for those tired of constantly replacing ink cartridges. This printer's standout feature is its refillable ink tanks, which can save you money and hassle in the long run. The setup is straightforward, and the tanks hold a significant amount of ink, reducing frequent refills. Printing quality is impressive, delivering crisp text and vibrant colors, whether you're printing documents or photos. Its multifunctionality—printing, scanning, copying—is convenient for home or small office use. Wireless connectivity options make it easy to print from various devices, and the intuitive control panel simplifies navigation. However, the initial cost might be a bit higher than traditional inkjet printers, but the long-term savings on ink outweigh this drawback. Overall, the Epson EcoTank ET-3850 is a reliable, cost-efficient printer that delivers high-quality results, making it a smart investment for those seeking convenience and value.

So far I love it. It’s fast printing and colors are great. Cons are, it’s not a touch screen even though I was told it is and the tray doesn’t automatically pop out when you print. Also sometimes you have to use the app to print and sonfat there’s no rhyme or reason as to why.

Outstanding value! Print speed is excellent! Not having to buy cartridges ever 2-3 months is a huge convenience. Ink is very easy to add to the reservoir as well. I tried to use this printer with a Windows 11 Home system that has a Snapdragon Elite AMR-64 chipset. The printer worked fine, but the I couldn't get the scanner to work. Scanner works well with Windows 11 with Intel and AMD chipsets. So i deducted one star. Quality is excellent and the footprint will fit in a fairly small space. I can recommend to anyone not using the Snapdragon chipset.

I had a HP printer and this printer is way better than my old HP. I also LOVE the fact i don't have to pay a monthly charge for ink. I can also put my own ink in myself is a game changer my household. I wish it was a touch screen though. My HP was, but over all this was a far better buy.

This printer has saved me a lot of money due to the fact that the ink lasts a long time. Prints nice with no errors. I use it a lot and it's very reliable. It's very easy to use and you can also control it through your computer or your LED printer screen.
