I have owned Cannon, Hewlett Packard, and Epson home printers and over the past 28 years in my home and I believe this is my 5th printer. At least 3 of the previous 4 were suggested by Apple when I purchased a new iMac, the other was such a good clearance deal find when I didn’t even need a printer I bought it as a backup as it was brand new and about 15% of normal retail costs. This printer is my first printer purchase where I am not also buying a new iMac. I looked at a well known and respected technology websites for 2025 best home office printers. I think all 3 brands I have owned, but at least 2 had printers that made the cut. I wanted a bulk ink refillable this time, wanted touch screen, and while I preferred smaller to larger, the space it needed to go could accommodate any in the reviews. Nothing negative about the other two brands I owned but personally I had best experience with Epson so all factors plus my own experience had me choose this printer and I couldn’t be happier. Easy set up, very accurate color with color copies, good printing speed, and the bonus is the size that allows it to slide in and out of a cubby on a small appliance slider. I like Epson and I like this printer.

Easy set up, ink refills easily. Everything you would expect from an epson

The Epson EcoTank ET-4850 is a great home office printer. Setup was quick, and instructions were easy to understand. The size of the device was my initial concern. Fortunately, it sits comfortably on my desk by just being taller and having more depth than the average personal printer. The ET-4850 is packed with features. It isn't perfect, but executes exceptionally in many departments. The most important aspect is how does it perform with print jobs? Print jobs finished in a timely manner and with great color even for double-sided printing. Scanning produced high quality images, and the document feeder worked as normal. This Epson printer is very robust in connectivity with Wi-Fi capabilities, ethernet port, and USB cable option. Unfortunately, you're not supplied with a USB cord or ethernet cable, but they're inexpensive items. One desire is for the printer to handle photo printing better. This is not intended for that functionality, but the ET-4850 is very close to being the last printer you will ever want to buy for your home.

I had had it with HP ink cartridges, not to mention the way too much space those with features like this one take up. So on a friend's recommendation and the powerful feature of not having to put up with those expensive and annoying ink cartridges I bought it. Best Buy delivered it to my house the next day and it comes with one set of 4 different colors of ink that you literally pour into the appropriate tank. Really, you can't mess that part up. They say and other reviews support that you'll get two years out of the initial sets of ink on average. I love the idea of how long it lasts. It comes with good directions on paper but the app you can download on your phone is really clear and step by step great. I made one mistake thinking I had synched it with my home wifi when I hadn't done that yet so there was a little wild goose chase, my fault. It synched easily and was all set. You can see from the photos that the screen is small. And it is. But even with my bifocals and not the best lighting, I had no trouble reading the fairly small type on that screen telling me what was going on at the moment with it. I did go through the print adjustment phase recommended (although you can skip it, it's easy) and afterwards printed a copy of something I really needed - a five page document -- and it's gorgeous. No smears, no odd lines, just lovely text that looks like it ought to. I have not tried photos or color. If there's any issues, I'll add to this review. I did pick the printer that you can set to do back to back copies or single page copies because I do use both. And this model has a good paper tray, better than the less expensive models, but definitely not necessary for good copies. Still, I'm glad I got this one. I got it in white because I'm so tired of the humungous big ink guzzling black one, this looks light and as aesthetically pleasing as a printer can be. I love it.

Just received the ET-4850 multi-function printer and opened it immediately to setup it up. Setup took about 30 minutes using the Epson Smart Panel app on my iphone. It walked me right through it from filling tanks to WiFi with no problems. Filling the ink tanks was a breeze - hard to believe just how easy it was and how much it can reduce future costs of ink! Great job Epson. Print setup was easy as well - ran through the adjustments and tweaked a few settings with no issues. Print quality looks good for normal document printing. Photo printing was very good - especially using photo paper. Scanning was easy to use, but the initial quality suffered. After playing with the resolution and a few other settings, I have it working better. The document feeder works well too. I used it both scanning and copying - flawless. I only gave a 4 star rating as I can't seem to find a way to set/retain the default scan save location. I want it to go into the "My Scans" folder on my PC..... Other than the default scanning location issue - this printer is quiet, fast and easy to setup! Sure to be a solid performer in your home!

This product is high quality at a fantastic and very affordable price point. The ease of setup and ease of use is exceptional. I would totally recommend this product to other and would definitely buy it again!

The Epson Eco Tank AIO printer is the Best Product in its field in my opinion. The technology is far and above the competition. I have used all the major brands and none compare with easy of use and reliability of the Epson Eco Tanks. I have the model ET-4850 and its amazing. Setup is a piece of cake. The whole process is done from your cellphone. The software is so easy to use and works on all my Apple, Windows and Android devices. The ink that comes with it will last 2-3 years for the average user. The cost of the refill bottles is much less expensive than ink cartridges. Registering the machine online will extend the factory warranty for 2 years, and their tech support is excellent too. I highly recommend it.

I’m really impressed with this Epson printer. The setup was straightforward, and the instructions were clear. The print quality is excellent, especially for color documents and photos. So long cartridges. What a plus. The super tank is great. I found it relatively easy to set up. There are two things I don't like. I can't use my flash drives. The screen is very small. It is very hard to read and change settings. I guess I will just need to use my reading glasses. These are minor inconveniences when I look at the quality of the printing.

The setup went smoothly. The printing is fine. The sound of the printer could be changed (according to one member of my family), it grates on her nerves a bit, but I don't notice it particularly.

I love my new Epson Ecotank printer. It was easy to setup and connect to all my devices. I could not believe the excellent print quality, or all the xtra features on the printer. Definitely an upgrade from my previous printer. Highly recommended.
