I wanted to like the Epson ES-C220 scanner, but my experience has been problem after problem. When the scanner actually works, the scan quality is solid and the speed is impressive. Unfortunately, the real issue lies in the software—the user interface is clunky, confusing, and unreliable, which leads to frequent setup issues and scanning errors. It feels like Epson built good hardware but paired it with poorly optimized software. If they streamlined the user experience and improved software stability, this could easily be a great scanner. As it stands, it’s frustrating to use and takes longer than it should to get simple tasks done. My first Epson Scanner stopped catching the pages to be sent through-this is after three years of continual use working at home-and hundreds of scans weekly. The Epson Workforce ESC220 is an incredible upgrade - easy to install, easy and fast to use, all in all, a great scanner.

Just like it states. Compact, works great in small places scans receipts like it was a full sheet. Got good hubby points with wife for getting it for her, set up was quick and easy.

Appreciate minimalist design, weight and footprint. Great for duplex scanning. Scanning speed's a little slow. Some scanned docs didn't "port" to my laptop. Someone (Epson?) should emphasize this from pg. 102 of their online user manual. " You can save the scanned image in a variety of formats. If you select Searchable PDF as the File type setting, you can select the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) language. and • Select the folder on your computer in which to save the file." I'm not sure, but I think the default folder for storing scanned docs is "MyDocuments"-not helpful-I store my docs in specific folders-this made more work for me. Very good price point.

The resolution and speed of scanning of documents and photos has been fantastic. However, the scanner intermittently pulls documents and photos in at an angle, despite me setting the correct size for the feeder. As such, I am knocking off 1 star for that. In terms of what this device is capable of doing, it should really be priced between $60-$100. Because of that, I knocked off 1 more star.

I was in a rush to process documents for a lawyer office. I purchased this Epson scanner recently, the speed and the high resolution were superb! In addition, the selection action after scanning is very helpful, intuitive and has about ten choices.

Compact, easy to install, easy to use, quality image, but 11.5 months later the software changed/stopped working. Uninstalled/re-installed 5 times still doesn't install the previous software.
