Great new doorbell to replace the ring fees

But that is the only issue. I have bought this doorbell to cut the subscription fees. Great doorbell if thats what you are looking for.

But if I ever get decent internet service where I live - I would definitely try this same item again.

The resolution is great and the 2nd camera for the packages is a great option. Ties in seamlessly with the other 3 Eufy cameras inside the house.

My driveway is difficult to see from my front door due to the positioning of the garage and some landscape. The angle provide by the camera allows me to see up to my car, which is great.

The Homebase 2 can be upgraded for 3 but would not work with doorbell. Forward facing LED light would be good. Currently the light focuses below.

Great video doorbell

Recording inside in the hub gives security of video and no subscription fee. Twin cameras give package view and straight out as well. Package view camera has lights to illuminate the area when dark. Internal chime not needed so can be wired for constant power and internal chime removed and wires spliced together to complete the circuit for charging power using the wires that would go to the button.

However, the motion detection is slow, the user interface is horrible, and the notifications are useless because they don’t have a preview.

If possible, please try the following steps to see if the issue persists:
-Please make sure that ""motion detection"" of the doorbell is enabled. Step: Devices-doorbell- motion detection.
-Please make sure - ""doorbell ring""&""motion detect"" is enabled under notifications:side menu>my devices>notification
-Please make sure ""push notification"" is enabled under home&away mode: security(at the lower right corner of the main page)>home/away.
-Please check whether the snooze is set on the device.
-Enable notification for eufySecurity App on your phone: side menu>settings>notification management.
For ios:
-Please check whether you have selected the ""Deliver Quietly"" of the app. If so, the notification will not be displayed on the lock screen and the banner.
-If you have turned on ""Do not disturb"", the notification may be muted.
For android:
-When the phone is set to ""No visuals or sound from notifications"" , the phone will not have a sound and will not display when it receives a notification.
-Please make sure to add our app to the power-saving whitelist. Here are the steps for your reference.

This does not have anti-theft door mount as the one in the box is okay, but there are ones built to wrap around the device itself and then drill into the wall/slide on door. Battery lasts only so long based on the settings you put for quality of image. You can delete all images and photos by holding down the button. Since it's internal and not backed by cloud
