Compact Icemaker

However, the motor has a loud 5-sec grinding sound each time it sucks the water to make the ice. It is in our employee lunchroom which is not soundproof and the sound travels to the next room.

I noticed they made some changes with it for the better. I’m looking for another few years and beyond. Fills fast and quiet.

The size of the cubs even on the large setting is pretty small. I dont like that the ice melts almost as fast as it is made and dropped into the basket which in turn makes the ice freeze together. For the money though, it is a decent ice maker!

Great ice maker!

We use it both in our camper and at home and always have ice when needed. The machine makes ice quickly and it stays in the machine until you are ready to use. Definitely a great purchase.

Unfortunately, you have to continually separate the fresh ice so that you're not stuck with a huge frozen block. Other than that, it's been great. No more ice trays or hunting bags of ice!!

It makes 2 sizes of ice cubes. You do need to put them in the freezer as soon as possible, but I am loving not running to the 7-11 every couple of days.

It usually takes two rounds of making ice before the cubes are in top form. Also, the colder the water you put in to the maker the quicker the ice cubes reach top form.
