We have had this for almost two years and it still works at a high level. It still looks and works like it did straight out of the box. We had an issue finding the right size with the cutout above the stove and this was the closest to the previous one we had. Hopefully it will ladt longer.

The over-the-range microwave is powerful and easy to use, with preset cooking modes that make heating and defrosting a breeze. Its sleek look complements the rest of the kitchen perfectly.

I bought this over stove microwave on the open box and it is vantastic! No scratches or dents. Easy to install, display is easy to read. Really brings out my kitchen. Would definitely recommend to others. Fast and polite employee's were willing to help from check in to loading. Great store!

I like the microwave as it is identical almost to my last one. I do have one complaint and that is the noise or the material of the door. It seems to be a bit lighter than the last one. Other than that, it functions pretty good.

I chose this GE because our previous microwave was a GE so I assumed we would have no problem with it fitting properly in the existing space, but, well, it almost does. The design flaw is that the door hinge needs significant open space to the right (maybe like 1/2 inch?) to be able to open fully. We have Ikea cabinets so I'm pretty sure they are a very standard size - i.e. our situation can't possibly be unique. See the pics - we actually have about 1/8 in space for the door to open but it hits the adjacent cabinet when the door is halfway open. I checked our old GE and the door swivels "in place" (no extra room required) so I don't know why a new one would use a different design. Otherwise - it seems to work fine. (Well, ok, the fan and the beep both seem a bit loud, but that's minor.)

I'm in love with this 1.6 cu ft GE Over-the-Range Microwave in bisque/cream! I had concerns about a microwave over the range, afraid I'd possibly spill hot liquids when reaching at eye level but I've had no issues. The exhaust vent has high & low settings that work well and the surface light brightens my cooking area below when preparing dishes on the stove. This light also dims which is great for a late night drink of water or sneaking a snack. The color isn't for everyone but in my small kitchen with antique cream cabinets the microwave and range in the same color makes the space look much larger. Being above range also frees up needed counter area. My only regret is not buying it sooner! I'm very pleased and trust GE appliances to perform well and last for years!

Easy to install. Looks sharp. Quiet. Cooks well and quick.

The microwave works well and fits the space, but there is a scratch on the exterior. It also feels much flimsier thsn the one it replaced.

It is great! Best Buy was very helpful in helping me choose what i needed. My daughter and son in law also purchased a washer/dryer and are very happy! The price was outstanding !!! I went back and pur hased a whirlpool refrigerator and i am very happy with it as well!!!!!!!

My new Whirlpool Microwave is a perfect fit! It was installed at delivery time above my new Whirlpool Gas Range. It sits securely above my range. It is extremely easy to use & easy to keep clean.

Satisfied with product - does what it’s supposed to , not your most expensive and surely not the cheapest . Works for us !

We love our GE over the range microwave! It looks awesome and works great! We are happy to have a clear, microwave free counter! Gives us so much more room. Love than it has a light underneath and a fan. Makes my kitchen look modern too. We got it for a fantastic price! Great deal all around

It was a perfect fit for our old over-the-range microwave that die on us. the appearance is pretty neat and modern, the value of the purchased is also great. We were looking for a white one and had to go to several vendors until we found it at Best Buy.

This is a nice microwave. I love the capacity of this overhead microwave. The height and width was surprisingly large. It is very easy to use.

We love our new microwave (replaced a 22 year old GE Spacesaver). Looks sleek and works great. We’ve had it for about a month and it gets used daily. Also really like the bright lights underneath to brighten the range top - Didn’t realize how poorly lit the stove had been until we turned these on! We also installed it ourselves (we are not technical people so I was scared) but just read the instructions a few times before you start and you’ll be fine! Hope this one lasts as long as the last one! Now I need new stainless steel stove and oven to match :) **Pictures show with surface light off then on.
