Best AM5 board at it's price point (barring sales)

A solid budget board. Is it going to blow you away? No.
Will it be an effective board for using a PCIe 5 NVMe, a modern GPU, and an AM5 Ryzen? Yes.
But there's a few quirks to be aware of.
First:
Those three bottom 16 lane slots? Yeah they're 4x1 slots. You're not going to be able to run much of anything off of those. So don't try to drop your GPU in there.
Second: Thew GPU quick release can be fragile, mine DID snap under very little pressure. Something to keep in mind.
Third: The NVME ports are also a little odd. There's the main 5x2/4x4 slot. Then there's a 4x2 direct to CPU, and lastly there's a 4x4 to the chipset. The CPU slot is going to be a bit slower since it's 4x2 (though few applications will actually fully use 2 PCIe 4 lanes), and the chipset slot will have higher latency (though not noticeable for most usage.
Fourth: Those bottom two NVMe ports have these EZ latch points. The manual doesn't say how to open them. You grab on the thumb grip and pull them out. There ya go. (see picture)
Overall, solid for the money, if you're doing a new build and don't want to throw down the cash for an even better board, go with this one. For it's price point, it can't be beat.

I've caught a pretty good deal at Best Buy, this MB and Samsung SSD bundle deal + $20 reward certificates from Best Buy on my email. Don't miss it! Was a good base for my new build. B650 still has plenty of space for future upgrades. Trusted VRM, impressive heatsinks over MOSFETs, hope those are same reliable as on my previous Gigabyte based PCs.

Pretty good MOBO, easy to work in and has AM5 compatibility, though a little pricey for the generation jump, it just what you need. Though it does leave me wanting due to it not having any error leds, makes me have to figure out what’s wrong myself which is not a big issue but it is super helpful when you have them and have to troubleshoot.

Got this motherboard for the second PC I built. Everything runs smoothly on it and I had no problem connecting all the other parts and cables to it. Originally I was looking at the MSI equivalent but went with this one due to price and availability. Definitely not disappointed with my choice.

Gets the job done at a great price. I have a 9800x3D in here, and it's letting all my other parts do what they need to do and I didn't have to buy a super expensive mobo. The bluetooth doesn't work super well unless the device is super duper close. The Gigabyte software is garbage. Use SignalRGB for any lighting needs.

Upgraded to this motherboard along with the Ryzen 7 7700x. AM5 is amazing, motherboard is slick, huge performance difference. The only reason i don’t give it five stars, is because of the no limit stock volt settings to the CPU. My Ryzen hit 95 celsius, but after enabling the limit, the highest now is 70 celsius.
