Compared with Ring, this device has a smaller view and only three to 3 hours of recording, which is more complicated if you want to review the activity's history.

Doorbell provides excellent images. They are clear day and night. Just wish to be able to use the original Nest App that came with my previous Nest doorbell model.

Wish the angle was a bit deaper. It would have helped my view if the angle was better.

As a Google person that has many of the ecosystem this has been a good adition. Is a good option against his rival (Ring) Installation is easy, but I would recommend buying protectione, because the device can be easily removed.

Easy to install. Excellent video quality--quite impressed. It's much clearer than the Arlo video door bell that I had.

I love the camera itself in that the view is clear and it has a very wide view. However, for some reason, I keep losing the connection to the app, and then I have to go through the whole process of reconnecting it. Also, the plus subscription is a bit expensive, but if you want a record of the activity the camera captures, go for it.

I have no issues with this product. It has functioned, as advertised with little to no hassle. Being knowledgeable about which type of doorbell to get - wired or battery - is useful. I have 19+ volts to our doorbell wiring, and that is adequate for the wired type. Every single delivery person has seen these doorbells and simply leave packages without knocking or ringing - a huge plus as an owner of two Dobermans. The doorbell can notify you if a package is left or even taken, can differentiate and notify you (if you like) of people, animals, vehicles, or even motion (not advised!). You can clearly communicate through the bell also. In this case, "the juice was worth the squeeze", in my opinion.

So far, so good. The wired bell works well. However, it doesn't ring inside the house, so I'm glad I have the app and get notifications on my phone. We tried troubleshooting in a variety of ways, but the bell still doesn't ring inside the house. Other than that, I'm very happy with the bell.

Excellent image quality. Easy to install and integrates with other google products.

New doorbell is great only thing is it’s stuck in portrait mode and it does cut into the full view of my front door. Other than that it’s a lot quicker and better quality video than the prior one.

This is a clear, precise cam that is easy to install and works well with my Google home app.

I love the look and minimalist feel of this. At the same time, very powerful, and reliable. You can set up zones, and teach it to remember familiar faces, and it will announce them via chat, text or email. Mine has lasted 8 years, camera is still working fine, doorbell is actually wearing out. So I went with what I know works well.

Love this door bell easy to use and makes me feel safe

This is the second Nest Doorbell I have purchased - this one was a gift for my parent's home. It was easy to install in place of the regular, original doorbell. It was paired easily with the Google Home screen, allowing them to view who is at their door from multiple points in their home. The view has a great range at left, straight, and right angles.

Easy to install for handy individuals. Added to my Nest Hub Max so now can see who is at the door as they walk up and get notices of packages. Useful phone app with or without a subscription.

Slick design, easy to install camera pixels are amazing very impressive

Definite improvement over the gen 1 version of this doorbell. Sometimes it seems a little too sensitive but great camera and microphone. I dont recommend getting an open box version as the one we did would not connect and some of the serial number information was crossed out on the instructions.
