Can't beat this beautiful piece of tech. It is so intuitive and efficient. It learns your schedule well or you can easily change it manually. Love seeing those "green leafs" daily for efficiently managing my usage. It also works flawlessly with the Google Nest Home system including the Google Home devices and doorbell/cams. I switched both Ecobee3 we had in our home and never looked back.

GREAT FOR MY HOUSE NOT FOR BUSINESS UNITS, IN MY HOUSE I HAVE 2, BUT NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MY BUSINESS A/C, AFTER 2 MONTHS SHUTS DOWN BY ITSELF, CAN RETURN IT AND GOOGLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SAID THE UNIT IS OK, SIMPLY NOT GOOD FOR COMMERCIAL UNITS. I CANT DO A BAD REVIEW BECAUSE IN MY HOUSE THEY WOTK PERFECT, SAVE A LOT OF MONEY MONTHA MONTH. MY BAD I DIDNT DO THE PROPER RESEARCH.

The Thermostat in my opinion was not easy to setup if you are not familiar with wiring. However, the customer service was wonderful in walking me through how I went wrong with my wiring. I really like the look of the thermostat. It's much better than what is in my rental. The top downfall of the thermostat is it has a mind of it own. No matter what setting I have it in. All of a sudden it stop working and when I look at the app it said I'm away from home when I not. "That can be extremely frustrating. However, it's so convenient with the app being able to control everything. I'm happy with my purchase for the most part

Purchased the Nest Learning Thermostat to replace an earlier version that had stopped working after several years. Installation was a snap including connecting to wifi which now can be accomplished from the Nest app…a major improvement from the previous one. The ability to control the device from the app is a major convenience.

Device is much easier to install than expected. One compliant is connected the device to WiFi. Nest requires that the thermostat is used to enter the WiFi password, which can be time consuming. It would be much easier if the device could connect to WiFi via the app. Otherwise, the device pays for itself in the long run do to the ease of setting schedules and ease of use due to interface with other devices.

I haven't done a lot with it yet. The setup was simple. Turn off the breaker. take off the current thermostat. Mark the wires with the labels that are in the package. Connect the new one. The Nest boots itself up and guides you through the setup. It finds your home wifi signal. I downloaded the app which works just as described. Two other things that I love about it is that it lights up when you walk past it, and that it knows the weather because you put in a zip code in the setup.

Look style, easy to install & work very well and it s not required a G wire (the power supply)

We love our nest thermostat. It was pretty easy to install and I was worried about that. The eco mode saves us money and the system learns our preferences for our settings. I highly recommend this.

I've tried both ecobee and nest thermostats and eventually went back to nest. Aside from the "learning" capabilities of the nest, I found the user experience is overall better with the nest thermostats. It is simple to use and more straight forward. One simple feature i like that i found very useful is the fact that the display changes colors between heating (orange), cooling (blue) and not running or off (gray). So you can tell whether the air conditioning unit is running or not from across the room or in your bed without even heading to the thermostat. Another big difference i found between Nest and Ecobee is the connectivity of the mobile app. I noticed the ecobee app doesn't update the status as quick or as consistently as the nest app does. For example i would change the temp on the ecobee thermostat and would noticeable a delay before the new temp updates on the app , sometimes a few seconds, sometimes up to a minute. Other times i would go to use the ecobee app and find that it has logged off and is asking me to log back in. The nest app updates more frequently and is more consistent. Most of the times the changes you make on the thermostat are instantaneous on the app, at most you may have a 5-10 sec delay.

I had been contemplating going to a Nest thermostat for almost two years after we bought our house. I finally made the plunge when it went on sale (20% off!). I was able to install it in under 30 minutes (just as advertised) and within a few days it has captured the changes we put into it during 24 hours (cooler at night and warmer when waking up) along with changing the settings when no one is home. Plus it looks sleek on the wall! Even my non-tech wife thinks it's great!

Installed Nest Thermostat in about 15 minutes using screwdriver provided. Took picture of wiring first , hooked it up and mounted it. Has already saved us more than it cost. Being able to control from app allows you to shut it down when gone and turn on before you get back. Also learns schedule. Very easy to use as well. I went and purchased the Nest smoke/Co2 alarms as well to bring house up to code. They are also awesome and work off same app. Next is camera(s)1

I had a hard time devising which smart thermostat to buy, but after reading reviews and doing a lil research I decided to go with the NEST. I love that it was easy to install which I did myself and I'm a female plus it looks and works great. I get tons on compliments on it. I would recommend it to anyone who loves to control the thermostat from anywhere they are. I have not had it long enough to notice a change in my excel bill. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase.

I do not regret buying this thermostat! Easy to install and easy to use. It looks amazing on my wall.

Once installed, the Nest worked great. It's simple / intuitive to operate. It will be a while until I can see how much, if any it impacts energy usage. Check your electricity provider for rebates/discounts. I could have bought my Nest from my provider with a $100 discount. In my case, installation was complex even for my ac/heating service company due to the nature of my system which has dual fuel and a steam humidifier. They had to do some significant rewiring and replace a part of the existing system. For some systems, the install can be much simpler such that even a non-mechanically inclined person can easily do it. In my case, professional installation (and an additional part) was needed and cost more than the Nest device.

It’s always awesome to regulate my thermostat, in these winter months, from the comfort of my bed. Works as it should. Like that you can have an automatic schedule: Don’t use the function but it’s good to know it’s there. It was a pretty straight forward installation from my handyman. He watched the video and installed. Could have probably done it myself.

Love this! Just as easy to use as it is to install. The installation steps are all on the app. It is step by step. There's even pictures for those hesitant on installing this on their own. Very easy to setup and operate through the app. Set a schedule on the app. Very convenient.

Was recommended by a client who showed me how to change her thermostat from five states away. Bought one for my own home and realized it would help my elderly mother (she couldn't read the former thermostat numbers and would inadvertently turn it several degrees hotter). So easy to install. My mom can easily read the numbers and I can keep an eye on her temperature remotely.
