I’ve had a couple WiFi thermostats before and this one is the best I’ve owned! Nice, sleek design, easy to use and schedule setup was a breeze. I love that it can use your location to know when you’re home or away to adjust the temp according to your needs.

Love the look of the product. We had an old thermostat before and this one gave our home a nice upgraded look. Easy to use and love the eco settings. It’s also nice to be able to use the app and change your temp from your phone.

It learns patterns and changes the temperature accordingly. It also tracks or cellphones to set an economic temperature when no one is home. It connects to our alarm and lights it's a great product. Betting able to control the thermostat with Alexa voice control is also super convenient

This was an easy install and even easier to start using. We've seen immediate savings on our electric bill $200 to $160 and we are still learning it as it is learning us. Ease of use has been outstanding. Even my wife loves how easy the app is compared to the last smart thermostat we had.

I myself by no means is a handy man. And I was able to install. My handy man skills form 1-10 is a 1. So if I can do it you can. Functionality also easy to use. And looks great.

The Nest Thermostat has helped save energy at home, easy to install and has a smart learning function that regulate the home temperature. Can be controlled from your cell phone. It has a sleek and modern look. Very good product.

So this thermostat is the first one I’ve ever installed/replaced. It was very easy to do and I labeled my wires with the provided stickers. Literally walks you through everything step by step once it’s on. There’s not much else to say about the install itself. This device looks very nice! Has a big/bright display, has tons of options and settings depending on your needs and temperature habits. I’m actually very impressed with the unit itself. I’m used to either older digital models or the ones filled with mercury. So this is like looking into the future. I have not downloaded the app because currently I still prefer manually turning the dial. Which is fun to do nonetheless. There are settings galore and I do think the nest would be useful to many households. It is also supposed to help save money over time, not overnight. Calculate the costs and find how many months or years it takes to pay for itself. Anything saved after that is dollars in your pocket. My complaint would be to add a single temperature sensor in the box, without spending the extra money on the upgraded package. It does have one built into it, but honestly how many homes have the thermostat in an odd spot? In an area that isn’t used often or doesn’t get enough airflow for accurate temps? Other than that I’m very happy with my nest purchase, it looks sleek and offers many settings for every temperature need I’ll ever have. Have a bright future and smart home!

I was worried about installing the nest but the included instructions paired with great videos from nest online made it a breeze. I do wish it came with a room sensor or two like some competitors does, but overall still very good

This was my first Nest thermostat and I love it. It learns where we like the temperature and adjusts it for us. Love being able to control it away from home and that it knows when we leave and enter the house. I like being able to see our energy usage. Will buy another in the future.

I LOVE IT! I don’t know why I haven’t added this sooner to my home! It’s so easy to use from my phone! No more going back and forth to adjust the temperature! It’s also a plus that I got it as a Black Friday deal!

This Nest Thermostat has a very sleek look and easy to use. My favorite part is the Nest app which allows me to always have the controls at my fingertips.

This is my second unit as I just upgraded from Nest Gen 2 ... So I have been a long time user and this review has great wisdom.. But most of you will only care about if I saved money on heating and cooling cost and most will only care if this product is user friendly for all ages.. But what you should and will care about is this.. You should be interested in purchasing the Nest Temp Sensor for sure.. (note) Temp sensors only work with Nest Gen 3 or later. So yes this product will save you money and Yes its super easy to use and over time you feel better going on vacation.. Because you can access it from anywhere you have wifi and if you want it to this product will go into eco mode when you leave because it sense your phone is not home.. oh.. don't forget to find the rebate in your state before you purchase.. Nest.com has that information for rebates, if available to you?

I decided to buy this after also switching power providers to a significantly lower cost per kilowatt hour. I wanted to really cut down on my electricity bill and I figured this would also be a good measure. The existing thermostat I had was not a programmable model and didn't seem like it was very accurate either. I wasn't sure how hot it actually got in my place and so I left my thermostat on 85 thinking it wouldn't hit that high during the day, but it would. Given that, I would be cooling my place for no reason at all and wasting money. This allows me to set the exact time it shuts off and comes on so I can save energy while away at work or wherever else and also always make sure I come home to a properly cooled house without wasting money. Highly recommend to anyone looking to cut costs and get more efficient with their cooling/heating. Install is simple and self explanitory and comes with tools to do it. App works great on the iPhone and senses when you are away from home.

I couldn't be happier. Set your schedule or let it learn on its own. Looks nice. Everyone asks what it is. Control your thermostat from your phone from anywhere. Set the temp you want just a few hours before arriving home.

Easy and quick install. Like the ability to adjust the temp via the Nest app. So far no complaints. Just wish it wasn't so expensive or I would buy another for my upstairs.

I bought 2 of these and use it in my 2 story home. The set up itself was quite easy, I followed the instructions using the Nest app and works as expected. You cannot go wrong with the Nest thermostat provided you have set it up right.
