This is the first nest we have owned. This NEST is awesome. It learns your habits and when your home and not and close by. it always is adjusting to keep things in the right temp and adjust the house when your gone to conserve energy. Easy to install.

I have a great deal of love for this Nest Thermostat. I have seen a big difference in my overall room temperature in my upstairs and main level. Before installing this (which was super easy), the upstairs rooms were HOT. The Nest thermostat has a great feature, where it turns on the fan, and cools/heats, but moves the air to equalize the temperature. Where most other Units would just turn on cold/hot air, this is smarter, and moves air, then cools, etc. I specifically bought the Nest initially so that we could have the heat AND cool air on over night. I would find myself turning on the AC during the day, but Heat at night, when the temperature outside would change, and the house was much too cold for our baby. The previous thermostat had a switch to toggle between Heat/Cold, so it was 1 or the other. This one has ability to do cold/heat overnight, and stay between a range, so the fan runs and not the AC/Heater.

After purchasing the latest model only to find out this is the one we needed I couldn’t be more satisfied. Easy to use took a bit to set up the app but nothing to terrible. Works as needed.

We love this thermostat. The ability to manage it remotely is great as we can turn the heat or air on hours before we are heading home from a trip, making sure the house is at the right temperature when we get there. It looks good on the wall, too.

Very easy to get up and running with this product intended to make my home smarter. Pretty neat to be able to adjust thermostat from comfort of my bedroom. Also pretty neat to be able to set temperature to a cooler setting as I'm about to leave the office. I'm liking this a lot.

Easy install, and easy to use. The interface is sleek and very intuitive where even my senior parents can operate.

upgraded our home analog Thermostat with a brand new Nest. and linked it to home wireless. like the big LED digital temperature display. we can view/change temp with our smartphones via Nest cloud. amazing gadget

I bought the nest to help me to be able to control the temperature within my house by phone or by Alexa Due to my having a disability. I enjoy the convenience of being able to set the temperature so easily.

I was debating getting this or the ecobee system. After my online research, it was a draw. I went with the nest due to it's easy of installation, better black Friday price and it's refined look. I must say so far I'm really pleased with it. It works seamlessly with the app even when you are off site. My only complaint is that there are no remote sensors. It would be nice to be able to see the temp and humidity levels in multiple rooms of the house.

This thermostat was incredibly easy to install and use. Home is always comfortable without constant changing of temperature. I especially love the mobile device feature which allow me to adjust the temperature from anywhere using my mobile phone including at 2am while in bed.!

I love that I can control my temperature from my phone, or directly on the thermostat. It's "learning" features don't seem to be doing what I want very often, but I expect that to get better over time, or I will override it with custom settings. It looks gorgeous on the wall.

I bought this thermostat to replace another thermostat that my wife was having trouble seeing/working. This thermostat is of the older style round type that we had in our house before we moved to this house. We have an 18 year old heat pump system and when I hooked this thermostat up to the system the Evaporator promptly froze solid and blocked off the air flow. This is NOT the fault of the Nest. My system was found to be low on refrigerant. Because of the age of this system it has been recommended that I replace the whole system with a new more efficient system. I am now waiting for the HVAC people to verify what all needs to be changed. The Nest was easy to install. The instructions were easy to follow and there are plenty of helpful U-Tube videos. I would highly recommend that you take pictures of your current wiring in case you need to verify the new wiring and/or return to your old thermostat. The Nest has plenty of features I have yet to explore but I look forward to doing so when the new system is running. In the mean time the old system seems to be doing it's job so I am not in that much of a hurry.

Installation was easy and works great! The scheduling screen in the app is a bit weird but once you get used to it, creating a schedule is not that bad. The away feature does not work as expected either. I wanted it to use the phones locations but it does not work properly.

This is my first smart product for my home and I have to say that I am extremely pleased with it. The Nest was easy to install and to get up and running. Love the fact that once hooked up to your network you can monitor and control your thermostat from anywhere.

Easy to set and use. Just follow the simple steps in the instruction booklet. I love the interactive app, it allows me to change the temp anywhere, anytime. I also the design, sleek and smooth. Its the thermostat of the future.

Very excellent product! Really easy to install yourself! I love that it connects to wifi and that you are able to control the temperature when you are not home! Really easy to use!

I love this thing. Installation was no where as easy as I thought it was going to be. I took a pic of my old unit but it did not have nearly all the same input terminals as the Nest did so it wasn't a quick swap. I actually had to swap it a few times to get it figured out and clean the wires up in the process which isn't really a bad thing. With that said I learned some things in the process which is ALWAYS a good thing. I love being able to just tell my Alexa to crank the heat a few degrees first thing in the morning before getting out of bed or easily setting up routines. This thing is awesome. Looks nice too.

The 3rd generation of Nest is an outstanding product. My primary reason for wanting the Nest was to meet my needs of a thermostat that I could control remotely. I travel almost every weekend, and wanted to be able to set the thermostat to a very energy efficient setting when gone for a few days, but also wanted to return the setting to my comfort zone ahead of me arriving home. This product certainly meets those needs. The initial learning period required a bit of work, until Nest learned my patterns of when I'm home, at work, etc. After two weeks, everything was perfect. I also have Xfinity Home Security/Automation, which this now seamlessly syncs with. When I arm the system, Nest automatically goes into the "Away" state, and restores itself to "Home" when the system is disarmed. The install took less than 5 minutes, and comes with everything needed, down to the screwdriver. Setup to wifi and the the app took another 5 minutes, tops. Overall, this is a great product.

Very happy with the upgraded performance over my old school thermostat. Very easy to understand, and optimize what you want from the performance.
