I took advantage of a price drop during the Thanksgiving holidays. I couldn't have been happier on the pricing front! I also purchased the Geek Squad install, unfortunately, the technician that came out couldn't figure out 2 wires that were connected to my old Lennox Signaturestat thermostat, so, he just abandoned the install and cancelled the service. So, it was left to me to perform the install, I found out that the two wires on my old thermostat was the outdoor temperature sensor which was no longer needed with the Nest. The install process was straight forward, I took pictures of the old wiring, matched the wires, and connected to the Nest terminals. I tested the thermostat after the install and everything looked good! One tip that may help some of you is to ensure that the wires don't pop out too much to a point that they push the thermostat outwards,

This replaced an 8 year old original version Nest which stopped working when we installed a new furnace (I still suspect the installer fried the original somehow). The new one is improved in many subtle ways (better WiFi, bigger display etc) yet keeps the same simple user interface. Also the new unit supports remote temperature sensors, helpful in rooms which stay colder or hotter than where the main Nest is installed. Works great with Alexa. We don’t use the learning features anymore since we’re home full time and my wife’s hot flashes don’t follow a schedule. There are cheaper WiFi thermostats but our Nest has worked so great we didn’t want to change brands.

It's awesome to be able adjust the temp from my phone. Its very easy to use. You can use the dial to change the temp effortlessly. The nest app is simplified. You can even program the nest to come on at as certain temp during the day.

Best decision I’ve made to get a smart thermostat. Nest is so easy to set up and use, being able to control the temp from the app on my phone is so nice. The eco mode saves energy and money.

Bought this product to help me save on heating costs. It was very easy to install with lots instructions and videos to help with installation if needed. Connecting with my Wi-Fi network was very easy. The thermostat ia in its "learning" mode currently, but very good so far.

Nest provided great customer service which led to a very easy install, took longer to plug the old holes then to install. Great looking thermostat that adds a little something to your house. Love the auto away feature as I have forgot to turn off the ac when in hurry.

Upgrade from the previous Nest. Very easy to install! Love that I am able to control with my phone. The staff was wonderful in providing me with information on a $100 rebate.

Very easy to install and set up given the instructions provided. Very stylish product with all the quality you would expect for the price. It has made a huge difference to our AC & Heating costs given the ability to control it remotely and its own ability to learn.

The Nest is a snazzy piece of technology that may make a difference for people with a connected home who don't like to micromanage their thermostat. Installation and setup is easy and the Nest generally performs well. Amazon Echo integration is limited to IFTTT for now, so it's a bummer that there isn't native Echo support, which would make this THE perfect thermostat. It's pricey, and it will take several months for the Nest to pay for itself.

Easy to install, program and use. Works great with Google Home for me. Nest thermostat has improved since the first version, Was considering this or the Ecobee and happy with the Nest.

The first gen I replaced worked fine. I bought the 3rd gen to use some extra sensors and get better control on the bed rooms. Works great easy to install only thing could have made it better is if it used the same base plate.

Bought this to replace the frustrating thermostat the HVAC company installed. This was very easy to set up and run. As a bonus we can now also control it on our phones. We are very happy with our purchase.

Bought the nest a few weeks ago. Like all the functions about it. It learns your settings. You can control from your smart device, you can even see your history usage and make the necessary changes to lower your bill. This little device pays for itself.

This is an absolute must have product to control your heating/cooling system. HOWEVER, there are a few important things to know, which I've learned after owing my first version of this thermostat for almost 5 years and recently purchasing a new one. First, it is very important to remember that 4 wire systems can work with a 3rd gen Nest, but with a big caveat. You will either get enough trickle charge for the thermostat to last your ownership of it, or you will have to buy a 24 Volt Transformer C Wire Power Adapter for Nest (recommend googling it) to offer supplemental power. I know this now because I had a 4 wire system that failed to power the device after nearly 5 years of my ownership. Secondly, find out if your heating/cooling system has a C-wire on board, even if you currently have a 4 wire system. Mine did have this so I was able to pay a qualified technician to run a new 5 wire system to my new thermostat. But as I stated in the previous point, if a 4 wire is your only option, then refer to the adapter reference in my previous point. A final recommendation I have is to keep a manual style heating/cooling thermostat on hand to back this one up should an extended power outage or software/device malfunction occur. As nice as it is to be on your home's WIFI network and be able to program, use the smart functionality of the thermostat and be able to access remotely, it is smart to have a back up thermostat.....which I also learned the hard way. Best of luck on this purchase. If expectations are properly set, you're going to love this device.

My Nest learning thermostat learned my temperature needs within 3 days. It’s so easy to change the temperature, if needed. I love having the app on my phone so I can adjust the thermostat from anywhere.

Really does help to save on electric bill and love the eco setting. I also like that I can control it from my phone I don't have to walk upstairs to turn the air up or down. Installation was easy and instructions were very easy to follow.

Great product. Rebates & discounts are available from both best buy (military discount) and utility companies (approximately $100). It works seemlessly with available app and is extremely easy to install.

This is the second nest 3 for our home. We started with one on the downstairs. It worked great. We added this second one a few months later after I added an office upstairs. Easy to set up and it saves energy.

I'm very happy with this Nest thermostat. I originally went to buy a Honey well but the sales people thought this one is more user friendly when it comes to programming the App. I figured I'd give it a try and return it if I didn't like it. My husband and I are not great with tech but together we got it up and running, any complaints thus far are due to user error as I'm still learning about the programming. One thing I wish was better is setting up the fan only. I currently have it running for 3 hours in the morning and there is only 1 fan setting, I wish it could be set on/off as desired as I would run it late at night before bed and perhaps during night when it's really hot. There is an option to run it as many hours as you want but not multiple options.

The eco setting is great as it doesn't really keep up with a routine set in alexa. Its easy to use. And looks great
