The nest is easy to install as long as you mark your wires. Learns quickly and I love the remote feature (being able to change the temp while on the way home or just being lazy and not having to go upstairs to change the thermostat)

Took a bit longer to install than I anticipated, but was entirely my fault. Didn't take the two seconds to look at the different wiring setup for my unit that has a heat pump. Once properly installed, the Nest looks and performs great.

This is a great thermostat that learned our preferences quickly. Installation was really easy according to my husband. Hopefully it will help us save on our utility bills.

I had been contemplating on purchasing the NEST for awhile. I finally made the purchase and I am so glad u did! Installation was super easy, the controls are amazing! If you are looking to reduce you energy consumption this is the device for you.

Was looking for a thermostat that has remote access from a wireless device. This Nest thermostat is amazing, easy to install and setup is a breeze. Above all it looks great "high tech" on the wall as well. Since this generation has also far-sight, it shows the room temperature when "far" from the thermostat or when close by it shows the temperature where it is going to (as adjusted) including the amount of time it would take. It is also a self learning thermostat that keeps track of when someone is at home or not and adjust the temperature accordingly (that needs to be pre-setup). This thermostat also communicates with other Nest products such as Nest Protect (smoke/CO2 detector) as well the Nest-cam. Overall I would say, if you want to convert to a "smart home" it starts with this thermostat. It is worth the investment.

I've added several Nest products to my home including this thermostat. My main concern was whether I would be able to install myself. The online documentation was excellent and the box even included a screwdriver so no extra tools were needed. From start to finish it took me about 30 minutes. It has a user friendly interface and navigating the set up was a breeze. I love managing the system with the Nest app which enables you to adjust the temperature, set the heating or cooling mode, set your daily temperature schedules, remotely run the fan, view home humidity and review your past energy history. It also reminds me to check the furnace filter. My Nest smoke/CO2 detector synced with the thermostat so if any CO2 is detected, it will turn the furnace off. I like it so much I bought one for my daughter's house!

Easy installation- Easy operation - Easy on the eyes too. Works well even in an old house with an old system. Tells me how efficient I am and other info that will influence my thought process to save money and keep my home comfortable.

Wanted a thermostat I could control remotely, including sitting on the couch. Took a little getting used to, but it performs well. Very satisfied

This Nest replaced an earlier model Nest that did not seem to work correctly. The new Nest works as expected without any issues. Easy to install.

For a few dollars more I will always order from Beat Buy and have the product in my hands within a few minutes rather than waiting a day. Yes, that is how I stand my gratification requires! Best Buy is awesome! Oh, the product was great too. Super simple to install and configure. I was up and running within minutes.

The thermostat was easy to install and is very convenient. If you are getting other products for a "Smart Home," I recommend buying all the same brand. I purchased a thermostat, cameras and carbon monoxide detector. The app and devices are all very user friendly. I used the backplate in one location and installed a second one in another location without the backplate. Be advised, the Nest video history is available for a 1-month trial. Following your trial period there is a monthly fee. If you prefer not to enroll you can only view real time video (no history).

The nest thermostat is great! I like how we able to link the google nest to our alarm system. This is very useful. We would recommend it to anyone who is interested in buying. This also very user friendly.

I like the simplistic look with lots of features. I like the ability to control it remotely and it has IFTTT incorporated into it so that triggers can be set to control it as well and it gives it the ability to control it with my Echo Dot.

The nest is awesome. It is really easy to use and simple to program! I am able to turn down the heat when we are away and also warm it up as we are on our way home. Also- it's learning pattern is spot on after only a short time.

This is an excellent product. Installation is extremely easy and once it is setup there is not much else to do. I control the temperature with both my iPhone and iPad from anywhere. I also use my Amazon Echo. Couldn't be happier with it.

I have only had it for a couple weeks but it is so easy to use it and it works so well that you wonder how you got along without it. I have it a condo in Suttons Bay and I can not only see and change the temp with my smartphone but many other pieces of info are transmitted with it. It learns what your programming needs are without having to do anything else and it fiqures out what your best temp is for every hour of the day. It also turns on when you go by and it shows you how long it will take to get to a certain temp that you set. Pretty neat device

This has worked wonders for me since I've had it. (About 3 months). You're fooling yourself if you don't buy this. The fact that it learns your environment says enough. Oh, and you can control it from your phone. It knows when you leave your home and sets it for "away" to save more energy. If I had 4 thumbs it give it a 4 thumbs up.
