I love the fact you can adjust the air or heat from your smartphone when you are in the house or away. Super easy to install - did it myself. The only drawback is the cost but the convenience is wonderful.

I love this thermostat. Probably the best convenient feature is being able to control my ac unit from my phone while I’m away. Overalll very good thermostat.

We had a standard thermostat that came with our house - manual setting of hot or cold. It worked, but it wasn't the easiest to read. We've now launched ourselves into the 21st century. I'm thrilled we can set the temperature to warm or cool the house before we get home. Or if I forgot to set it lower at night - I just reach for my iPad. Easy to read too. Look at the Nest website first - you can determine if it is compatable with your home before purchasing. You can also have it installed professionally which will add 3 years to the warrenty. We did - the guy who did the installation was great, showed us how to use it and had the accounts set as my husband is home during the day and I'm not. Love it!

Love my nest thermometer! It is super easy to use & it is great being able to control the house temperature from anywhere. Adjust it when I leave work & the house is comfortable by the time I arrive!!

I watched the online installation video and the Nest was really easy to install. (The only thing I would alert people too, that was not in the instructions or on the online video, is that even with the breaker switched off, if any of the wires touch at all while installing (or switching out the old thermostat) you can blow a fuse in your furnace. Luckily it is a cheap and easy fix if it happens, but just a heads up to be really careful with the wires when installing to avoid the inconvenience.) Since installing the Nest, it works just as promised and “learned” my patterns within the first few days of use. The Nest and the app are easy to use. I would highly recommend it.

This was singlehandedly the best home automation purchase I've made yet. The nest is smart and efficient by learning when you leave and return so it can have the house at the perfect temperature for you. You can even set it from your phone just to make sure. The features are fantastic and we will continue to buy nest products to link with the rest of our home automation.

It learns based on your preferences and knows when you are not home and adjusts accordingly to the temp outside and being able to change the temp and check from your phone.

Very easy to setup. It works with iphone where you can control from anywhere. If you forget to turn it off, you can put it on Away mode on the road. The best part is the rebates that LA has to offer

The Google Nest Smart Thermostat gen 3 is outstanding. I will work fantastic with my iphone. I can control the temperature from where every I am.

I brought nest 2 for my grilfiend, great product. And when my brother broth a house. I just got him nest 3. Great investment worth buying, price may be up. But product easy to put in, looks great and good function.

This must be one of the best purchases I've ever done. Helps you see what your Home AC/Heating system does on a daily basis. You can remote control it form your home or anywhere in the world as long as you and your house has internet. Simple installation instructions and clean look is a definite plus. Once you connect it with your Nest account setting up schedules and modes are easy. It's smart to the point that it knows your location temp outside to auto adjust itself to save you money and even lets you know if you wasted energy by you making adjustments or even by external temps. So if you have a regular thermostat change it asap. You can check compatibility online if you google it.

Great thermostat - links to cell phone to modify temps based on when we're in house or not. Was pretty easy to set up by myself at home.

Very functional. Very attractive. Easy to use changing the programed temperature manually took some effort, but that is not the intended use. Proximity activation works very well. Very good product. Remote control through phone software is easy.

Looks good, works good and easy to use. was a little hard to setup for me, but I did it.

This is my first smart thermostat. Installed it myself and had no issues. Instructions were very clear and easy. Switched from a bare-basic, builder-grade digital thermostat that had NO features or options. This thing learned within 3 days how we wanted to change the temp from day to night and back again. I'll be interested to see how it handles the change in seasons, when we might be shutting the AC off to open windows, then go to heat, then shut off, and then maybe back to AC (gotta love PA weather).

Recently installed in our cabin up north. Always helpful to have ability to monitor temperature (especially during Minnesota's cold winters) remotely, including turning up heat/air conditioner before heading up to the lake. The Nest thermostat is easy to install and easy to use. We have one at our house as well.
