    I'm using this thermostat for four months. I changed from a very old battery oprated to this. My house is very old and so is my boiler, it is a one pipe system no zones. Now I can control the temperature in my house by the coldest room. I added 3 more sensors and they work beautifully with the thermostat no need for zones.

    This new gen of nest looks sleek and I love the details on the screen. Easy to install the only thing is you need to use the google home app to control it not the nest app.

    This is one of the best smart thermostats I’ve ever bought and used. I installed it myself, and it was very easy and straight forward to follow the directions to install. As an added bonus, this is compatible with my security system, so I can create custom scenes utilizing these two things together (such as automatic temperature changes when leaving/arriving). Im also a fan of being able to track our HVAC usage. A new feature with this is the secondary sensor which has been nice to have, and has all sorts of convenient benefits. Overall VERY happy with this. Ive had my thermostat about a month now with no issues.

    In today’s Hi Tech world, more and more companies depend on the customer to review set-up manuel’s online. Very frustrating and at times confusing! Because I didn’t understand the “Learning” capabilities, my electric bill increased by $400+ in less than 1 month! We bought 3 thermostats and it’s been a balancing act throughout the day watching each one to manage the temperatures in each zone. It’s a learning process. That said, I like the sleek, modern design and the app works well and Google-Nest customer service is okay (they try). Though you cannot call them; must send an email requesting they call and, they do promptly. Recommend the product with caution to fully review prior to purchase.

    I had the older model nest basic thermostat and upgraded to this 4th gen. And wow it is definitely worth the price. Very accurate and the best feature is the remote sensor to be able to use that reading from the back of the house away from our pellet stove. That way the furnace can keep those rooms still warm with the rest of the house closed off and heated by the pellet stove. Easy to navigate in the app and choose what setting you want. I added the decorative cover from Etsy.

    Old first gen busted and picked this up. Installation was a breeze, my only complaint is that you now need to use Google home and this will not work with the old Nest app

    The new generation Nest thermostat has blown me away with how gorgeous it looks on the wall. I get constant compliments on how beautiful the thermostat looks. Typical smart thermostat features, and I love the included sensor you can place in an area that may run hotter or colder so your thermostat can use that location to heat or cool.

    It's such a huge step from its predecessor, it's quick and the rotating dial is meditation when turning it. Installation was breeze, it took about 30 mins due to inexperienced but if you knew what you were doing, it would take about 15 mins. The design is future proof and it just looks like the cleanest thermostat on the market. Incredible job Google

    This is the best upgrade that you can do to your home. It’s very easy to control and gives you tons of very important great features.     The thermostat is easy to control and eorks really well with the second temperature sensor placed upsatirs. App is truly streamlined and simple to use. The only downside is the white cover for obsidian black. I painted my cover black to match and it looks great.
