I have had this installed for approximately 5 weeks and couldn’t be happier. Installation went very smoothly, the Nest app walks you through everything and is specific to your thermostat once you enter the wiring configuration you have. Connected immediately to my Wifi after installation. Because my old thermostat was attached to the wall using a recessed power box, I did have to order a wall plate from Google but was able to install it and get it up and running while the part was on the way. Just to be clear, it came with the thermostat and a decorative cover plate but my previous install was unusual so needed the extra metal plate that screws into the power box behind the decorative plate. The ability to check in on the house when away during frigid Iowa winters is incredible, great peace of mind. Also came with an available rebate from the local gas company so be sure and check into availability on your area.

The Nest E thermostat works great. Easy installation and works great with my google home and google minis.

The thermostat was simple to install the setup through Nest device and Nest app along with Alexa is virtually dummy proof. Love having this thermostat I noticed the first two days of having it that my furnace did not turn on as much as it previously would. it has also maintained temperature in the house much better so far. I have already recommended this to a few friends. Nest is best on the market if your furnace does not have a Common wire.

Nice being able to adjust temps while you are away from home! Easy to install and setup if you know a little about your AC/Furnace. Scheduling is a snap and the ECO mode is pretty cool to. It is nice to be able to use the Google Home to set temps as well!

It is nice and white bezel gives it a real cool look. Connecting with my Google Home was very simple and intuitive. It responds well and can be controlled remotely via app. My elec bill has came down drastically. Highly recommended

I'm not missing the few things that this one doesn't do compared to the much more expensive one(unless you need that one for compatibility)... I love the laziness of changing the temperature with my phone, or with just my voice(when linked with a Google Home)

This is a good product. I have been wanting one for awhile and ended up buying one about 4 or so months ago. It has done it's job that I know of. I really haven't seen a huge savings in money but I guess I don't know how to tell that. It is nice because it can tell if you are home or not. Only bad thing is my fiance is home when I'm not home so it never really goes to eco friendly heat saving mode. Unless we are both gone together. Overall this is a decent product but could be a bit cheaper than it is now for me to give it a 5 star.

This is one of the best purchases I’ve made for my house. I tried a “smart” thermostat from another company for a few months before I switched and I have to say it did not come close to the level of simplicity and convenience of the Nest E. Go for the E over the Learning Thermostat. It has the same smarts, is way more affordable, and looks better in my opinion. In minutes, I had it set up, connected to the app, and controllable from my smart speaker. Keep an eye open for local rebates as the Nest E can almost entirely pay for itself before you even open the box (I found a $75 rebate plus another $50 rewards for signing up for my electric company’s energy saving program on top of the Black Friday sales pricing). The additional money I save from the learning software is just the icing on top.

Straight forward install, so fun to use, controlled from anywhere

This works great with digital assistants, and is pretty easy to install too. It saves me from $8 to $25 monthly by being more efficient and smart with the way heating and air conditioning operate. In my area, my utility company even gave a $50 rebate after installing it too! It is very easy to use with a smart phone, and for those that like the old knob turning style thermostats, it does that too. I was a little worried that the 'learning' part of it was going to make the temps in my home uncomfortable, but, after having this a little while, I am really enjoying it....plus, if it notices you adjusting it all the time away from what it has programmed, it will learn it as kind of a mistake, and soon, you notice it pre-adjusts it for you.

This may be the "cheaper" Nest thermostat, but it has almost all the features that someone with limited technical know-how would need. Hook up was very easy, your colored wires snap in to the connectors, and the screen will go thru a setup with the outer housing as sort of a rotating dial for your options. I have mine connected to wifi and I can control all the features from my phone. I literally never have to touch the stat! It will learn your preferences over time and then start to adjust for different things like seasons, & humidity. Can be locked out so the kids cant turn your house into a meat locker! Great buy!

I'm really glad Nest brought their price point down and introduced the Thermostat-E. Installation was very easy with the materials that were provided by the vendor. This thermostat does everything it claims to and is learning me after only two days. A little disappointed that there's no Apple HomeKit integration, but hopefully that's coming soon.

I made this purchase after reading several reviews. Works exactly as advertised and the install was very simple. Very sleek and well designed. You can control the device from anywhere thru the app.

Great thermostat. Seems to work well so far. Just have to make sure you disable home/away assist on any devices you have the nest app on and leave at home all the time, otherwise the thermostat will always think you are home. I recommend only using the home/away assist on your phone, as most of us carry that with us all the time.

I purchased Nest and found very useful for reducing poser bills, convenience of controlling the temperature when away from home also I use google home so I can control my nest thermostat just by voice. It is very easy to setup the instructions are very detailed and also you can finds installation videos online that can help.
