I’m giving 5 stars for the dehumidifier in quiet performance, price, and customer service. The continuous drainage hose was flimsy, and less than 4 feet. It is the only length that the manufacturer provides. However, the outlet and drain in my home were 12 feet apart. Fortunately, Amazon sells a 12 foot, compatible rubber drain hose for $20.00 with overnight free shipping.

This is our third humidifier we’ve purchased over the years. It collects water fast, the control panel is easy to use. Haven’t had to clean filter yet. Bucket feels a little cheap. Moderate noise. We have a relatively small basement and I would not get anything smaller than the 70. I’ll give it 5 stars until I run into problems.

Bought it this summer when the humidity was off the roof in our basement. Honestly, its been a life saver. But keep in mind that the best utility of it is to connect it to a pump that automatically takes out all the water which can accumulate fast

After 2 years of using this Honeywell Dehumidifier maximum use of 8 hours a day it suddenly show the E3 error code and then after few minutes it shutdown. Hope that Geek Squad 4 year warranty that i purchased will help me with the repair.

Bought this after seeing it get high ratings in Consumer Reports and here but keep getting the E3 error. Returned.

So far, this has been a great purchase. The issue with current dehumidifiers is that you need reviews 1 or 2 years out. Our last dehumidifier "died" just after the 1 year warranty expired. This dehumidifier has a 5 year warranty for sealed components. Quiet, very effective, stylist (although we have in in our unfinished basement, it's nice to have a good looking device), easy to operate and the cost was much less than the dehumidifier that only lasted roughly 1 year.

Purchased the Honeywell-Energy Star 50-Pint Dehumidifier to replace a competing unit that the wife thought was too loud and ran continually. This unit is much quieter and gets the humidity to the selected level range. It then shuts down until humidity levels rise above selected levels. I have the unit set up with the continual drain tube option. So maintaining it is as easy as cleaning the removable filter. Extremely happy with this unit as it is quieter performs as represented and has a longer warranty than other units. It is not inexpensive but I would recommend this unit.

Only on day 2 of having this dehumidifier, but I can state that it clears moisture out of my basement very well and is very quiet. After having two Best Buy branded Insignia dehumidifiers in the last 3 years, I am very happy with the Honeywell thus far. Keep in mind the Insignia dehumidifier is half the price of the Honeywell, but the Honeywell also has a 5 year warranty, where-as the Insignia has a 1yr warranty.

I bought it for my basement. I’ve bought many different brands and by far this is the very best one. Easy to set up, useful features and great capacity. I found it to be rather quiet compared to my experience with many other brands. Look no further this is the best.

Five (5) minutes to set up. Registered on line.... My basement is now at 39-40 % humidity level. That's great. It's very quite at the low setting. Easy to move around....But, Four (4) stars only because the electric cord ( 5ft.) should be longer. Had to buy a heavy duty extension.

This humidifier was easy to set up and has been working flawlessly in our basement for about a month. Though it's rated at only 50 pints, it seems to be the same capacity as our older 70-pint dehumidifiers (apparently because of a new rating system). At any rate, it's keeping the humidity at the selected levels and is fairly quiet. I'm giving it four stars for now - there's no way of knowing how long it will last.

We have only had this dehumidifier for a few weeks but so far, I must say that it is the best one that we have had to date! This unit is very effective in drawing humidity out of the air in our musty cellar. We have to won’t order 3X/Day! The musty smell is gone on our cellar! Also, this unit is very quiet! Everything that you could want or need in a dehumidifier!

Easy to install quiet and does well with removing humidity.

I bought two of the units for my home, one spring 2nd summer of 2022. They run non-stop and it's amazing the water they draw out of the air. The dampness has been greatly reduced. Single draw-back is they run a bit loud.

Since purchasing my Honeywell-Energy Star 50 pint dehumidifier several weeks ago, it has kept the humidity level at a comfortable 35 degrees in my basement. It is efficient and quiet running so it doesn't disturb conversation or tv viewing. I would recommend this unit to anyone needing a dehumidifier.

This was a phenomenal purchase. Price was reasonable and this product did the work of what previously required two dehumidifiers. I didn't think this would actually do what was promised so we started with one. I planned to purchase the second one but when I went to reorder it, they were sold out online and in the store. As promised, this dehumidifier actually did what it was promised to and we were pleasantly surprised.

This has significantly improved the humidity level in my basement and even reduced any musty smells we used to have. The unit is pretty quiet for what it is as well.

Easy to set up. Removes a large amount of humidity fairly quickly. Had an issue with ice on the coil after about 3 days but after letting it melt off have not had the issue repeat.

Happy so far in the short few months I have had this unit. Keeps basement dry. Running all the time. Older house.
