An effective all in one laser printer

This is an effective printer for printing in black and white. For the printer itself I would give it five stars. However, It is monochrome. When was the last time you watched anything on a black and white TV? It doesn't duplex though when you indicate on the print job to duplex, the screen reveals how to reinsert the paper. I am used to using an all in one laser printer that automatically duplexes and prints in color. I'm spoiled. The printer connects to devices wireless or physically through a USB cable. It seems that the USB connection is needed to establish the printer on a network. In addition to printing, this device also scans and make copies. It is reasonably quiet and efficient at what it does. The rate of print is described at 21 pages per minutes. I have no way of measuring that but it is certainly fast enough for most jobs. The quality of printing text is impressive. The printer itself does not come with a toner cartridge like a typical laser. But, with toner already contained in the device and 5000 pages before additional toner is needed, I will have a long time before replacement is necessary. Summary: Printer very good Connectivity adequate Speed very good Toner life excellent Toner replacement Unknown. I would have no trouble recommending this printer if the need is for a small, efficient monochrome printer. I would say this should work very well in many homes and offiices.

I get error after error but it doesn’t say what the error is. It will say out of paper when it’s full. Don’t waste your money.

I can certainly understand why receiving unexplained error messages – including “out of paper” when paper is loaded – would be confusing and eventually quite frustrating, With that in mind, I’ll offer some resources and information I hope will help.
