Printing Quality is light - HP Support is Terrible

The only way I can get this is to set the print quality at 5 (Dark), print to a page, then set that page on the copy scanner glass, tilt the page exactly right because the copy scanner automatically copies to a page crooked, then copy the page. After all that (and sometimes wasted sheets of paper), I get what I want. Also, the stated warranty is for one year, but when I go onto the HP web site to check my warranty, they were only giving me 10 months. I have been disputing this End Date for the warranty for the last 4 weeks and the only single response I have received is that it's taken care of now -- but every time I check, the End Date is still the same. Now I cannot even get any kind of response from them. Also, it took about 3 hours to set the printer up, largely because the HP web site is so poorly set up. Fortunately, I don't have to go through that again.

I’m sorry to hear that your printer has rendered prints of poor quality and took so long to set up. It’s easy to understand why this, in addition to other issues you describe, would be an extremely frustrating combination, so I’ll offer some resources and information I hope will help.
First, I recommend you follow the steps in a guide to improving print quality that you can find on our support site. This guide covers issues including smeared, fuzzy, dark or faded prints, and loose, partially missing or scattered toner. Find that guide here:

That was a huge selling point for the printer. However it really lacks features. It prints. It copies, sometimes it’ll scan. No automatic Duplex, no faxing. The lack of functions make this printer less valuable to me. Super cheap to print per page, but it comes with its flaws.

Was a little worried because some of the parts seemed flimsy and low quality but this is working out fine for two of us in a small office. Easy set up from all devices and clear, concise printing. This was the ONLY black and white printer available in the store and we needed it immediately. So we're pleasantly surprised. We weren't even able to order another brand we preferred. I guess Covid has affected manufacturing everywhere.

I was able to connect via wifi capability to print wireless because I hate dealing with cords. Also, the set up was not excruciating.

Text is fine but any kind of graphic printed is very banded...lines through the graphic. I didn't expect it to print photos with good quality but any graphic is printed poorly...and dark. Lots of toner inside will surely last a good long time!
