This printer is great. I have printed hundreds of 4X6 photos for my Mom and still have over half of the ink that came with the printer.

The best 3-in-1 machine that is solid for homes and offices. It has never disappointed me for once since I bought it.

Easy to set up and use. Like the two side copy and print capability. like being able to make copies without going to a large copier.

While I try to be objective in my reviews, there is little good I can say about my HP Smart Tank 7301. It has been nothing but trouble since I bought it in April, 2022. It is now March, 2024 (that's right, less than 2 years) and the printer driver has gone bad. I found this out after spending hours scanning, executing fixes, removing and reinstalling the drivers and apps, turning off and on my computer, printer, and wifi, and engaging with HP online. It has always been glitchy. It falls asleep and sometimes won't awaken, often having to be turned off and back on again and then waiting for it to through its checks. Paper jams occur far more often than they should from both the scanner feeder tray and the stock printer tray. It has to be operated through the app to work properly which is a bothersome hassel. The only advantage it has over my old DELL is the large ink stores (which is why I bought it) and the fact that I've never had to adjust the print lines. I paid about $400 for it and two years later it's unusable and going in the garbage bin. I would highly recommend anyone reading reviews to look past the reviews of those that just bought and setup this printer combo and read the reviews of those that have owned one for several months. Maybe I just got a bad one, but I'm deleting all HP apps, etc. from my computers and going back to a DELL, or some other brand. Two years of headaches is enough for me.

Was quite surprised on how good the printing is. Having a years supply of ink was real nice. It’s nice not to have to buy print cartridges.

Great investment. Prints great. No issues. Keep the instructions because I switched Wi-Fi’s and it was a pain getting it reconnected.

Works great. I'd like the control on the printer, but through the app works. I'd like to be able to copy two-sided.

I wanted to like it. I love the idea of bottled ink instead of cartridges. However, it scans pages and switches the order. Yes it does let you use the app to move pages but why should I have to if I put them through in the correct order? It’s started spitting out random blank pages at times. If I highlight three documents and tell them to print, it will print three copies of one and not print the other two. The copy function gets stuck all the time and I have to unplug and plug it back in to get it unstuck.

Love the printer! Easy to install and print. Need the app to do a majority of things but makes things easier! It is a hybrid so you can choose from regular cardiges or ink bottles.

I am a senior citizen and found the set up to be easy using the online instructions. This is my first Smart Tank printer and I was concerned about a possible mess with loading the ink reservoirs. It was easy peasy and not a drop of ink was spilled. The quality of the color print meets my expectations, and I especially like the duplex print feature.

Great printer, easy to set up and use with all devices through Wi-Fi. Easy to refill ink tanks also.
