The copier set up nicely and has clear, sharp copies

The printer works really well when it works. It is fast to receive data. It's great not to have to worry about ink constantly. It works well on the MAC Unfortunately: * It has a practically useless front panel. It is not backlit, has cryptic little icons that you have to look up. You can't see it from a seated position. For such an expensive printer, I expect more. * You have to use combinations of buttons, to do resets of the printer, or the wi-fi, etc. when you have problems with the network. It's pretty inscrutable. The HP smart software does configure it well, however, it has lots of big buttons for everything except when you have to add the printer again. Then you have to go to the top menu of the computer and find the add printer button. It's a bit hidden but that is where the magic happens. * YOU CAN'T COPY THICK MATERIALS like a book. If you attempt to close the printer lid on it the hinges don't allow that and they will break. Come on HP, how long have you been in this business?

The printing head died after 2.5 years of light use, shortly after my Best Buy extended warranty expired. I searched for a replacement, and it was north of $100.

Heavy duty printer for school needed, nice bottle of inks instead of cartridges. It’s worth for me to use for Family tree researching and developing the booklet for family reunion.

Great little printer. It looks like the ink savings will be a big plus, but it's still too early to tell. Took a little bit to set up, but a call to the HP support team solved it.

I love this printer, it works with all my devices and I love that it is ink tanks instead of cartridges. It has been great.

Printer works great if/when you can get it set up and installed. First one we bought was defective and had to be returned. After 5 hours of customer support/troubleshooting we finally got it working. Mind you I’m a very tech savvy user. The instructions are terrible. Works great if you can get past the setup though.

I have been using this printer for over a month now and I have not had any problems at all with it's operation. The assembly of the printer was easy and like times past I have found the HP printer quality more than adequate for normal home use. The need to use the generic HP Smart program for checking level of ink, scanning, printer settings, etc. could be improved.

Seems to work well. I printed pictures and documents, pictures were a little dark, but I am printing from a iPad.

eXCELLENT MACHINE FOR PERSONAL AND BUSINESS USE. A LITTLE TRICKY TO GET IT CONNECTED AND SET UP WITH A WIRELESS CONNECTION. HP PREPARED GOOD DIRECTIONS ON SETUP PROCEEDURES

Excellent printer/scanner combination, and we love the high-capacity ink cartridges. It even duplexes.

I like not having to frequently replace ink cartridges. My daughter has an Epson but I have an HP laptop, so I wanted the HP

Works great so far. The New features (for me at least) of Auto 2 sided & the tank ink, and Flat papper feed are Great.

I will not buy HP printer again in the future. Rip off. Only two years old and it stopped working because we changed wifi. Same with my daughter on hp. No good.

Too hard to use always needing to reload it yo my two computers and phone not sure why

I got this because it was supposed to save money on ink. It might, hard to tell when the printer never works. So frustrating! Every month for the last 6 months we have had to contact support. Then after another 2 hour chat with them, they agreed to replace the printer. All I have to do is ship it to them, and then 7-10 business days they will ship it back to me. That would work if I didn't want to use the printer for a month. Please, do not get this if you need a reliable printer.

Really like the ink option. The cover is very sensitive though. Doesn’t always realize I have opened and closed it so copy option isn’t available. Also for some reason the scan function doesn’t want to communicate it’s available while the print one is. Have to unplug and plug back in.

We love the tank series, but when you’re troubleshooting, it can be a headache

Been buying these for my field staff. They all love these printers.

Works great. Does everything I need. Fax, receive and send, copy, print I would recommend
