Not impressed. the printer was a challenge to setup with wi-fi. Got past that and there is this annoying blue light on the front of this thing that will light up the room at night, wife not happy that this cannot be turned off without power down or disconnect from wi-fi. Then lately the thing takes a crap. Was purchased 12/15/2025 and now will not work. Error that print head is missing. Cleaned it, put back, same error. Run out and buy a new print head, same old crap. So now I have to try to get this printer replaced.

I unboxed the printer and began the setup. The ink chambers were easy to fill but I couldn’t complete the setup because the power cord was defective. The connection was too loose to keep a connection to the electrical outlet. After about an hour of trying to get it setup, I gave up. I will be returning the printer to Best Buy.

Been using HP printers for years. This is the first time I’ve gone with the ink tank system and I’m really enjoying the printer. Set up instructions for a Mac or a tiny bit lacking compared to the plethora of information for windows machines but if you do enough poking around, you can find the information. The secret is in the smart HP app.

I am enjoying the color copies my HP Smart Tank printer is producing. I had been using an HP B&W laserjet printer that I traded in on this HP Smart Tank. The color and clarity of the printer are very good...I have had no issues with it since I bought it.

I love the fact I can see when I'm running out of ink. The ink is really easy to put in. The printer was easy to install/connect to my computer. I was pretty much ready to print in less than 25 minutes out the box.

Very sorry I bought this --- nothing but trouble. Many compatibility issues in installing which were never resolved after multiple calls to HP's tech service. User guide (online only) lists features for all models, many of which you'll unhappily discover do not apply to this model! Shakes ridiculously when printing. Single paper tray is flimsy and switching sizes is a pain! Not intuitive---does not auto- sense things like paper size, and requires too much button pushing to do simple things. I was swayed by its sleek modern look, but have not been happy with it at all. For the price this should be a much better machine! Look elsewhere.
