so sorry I bought an HP printer. I should have stayed with Epson Printers. HP is too slow. printing on both sides nearly impossible to do, 2 year ink is what sold me.

Hp support will not help either. The black cartridge has been changed and it wont print black. I haven’t even had the print a week once it started having issues.

Not impressed. Consider buying another printer. I had to bring it back. I was weeks post operative from a hip surgery and did not appreciate the printer- non starter.

I would not recommend this printer. You have to install the print heads. It at times makes a high pitch penetrating noises. I’m constantly getting error messages. Printing double sided pages one must run the paper through twice. It prints all odd pages then you have to reinsert paper for the second side. For the price of this printer I’m very disappointed and wish I could return and get a different one. I should have gone with the printer I originally researched, and not the one the sale associate recommended.
I’m sorry to hear that your printer has performed so poorly. I can wholly understand why high-pitched noise and frequent error messages in addition to your being dissatisfied with some of the printer’s features would be a tremendously frustrating start to owning the device. I want to help you resolve this situation, so I’ll suggest a resource and some information aimed at making that happen.
I can’t tell from your review what’s causing the noise or the error messages you describe, so I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number - Serial number - Your location - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: - support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

Just stopped working after a few months. Keeps saying there is a jam obstructing the printhead when there is none. Defective design.
I'm incredibly sorry to hear about the constant paper jam error. Certainly I can understand how frustrating it was. This is not an experience we at HP are aiming to provide, so let me try to help you in this situation.

Did not retain the ability to print good quality pictures. Now made totally out of plastic, quality not what I expected from HP. Very disappointed and looking to replace

I purchased this printer as a replacement for an all-in-one Epson printer. I got this printer home, plugged it in and printed a test sheet. The next time I went to print a document the printer didn't work due to a variety of issues, including canceling the job and randomly giving me error codes about the ink tanks. HP support offered to send a new printer, but I am out the cost of the ink that I put into the tanks. Overall, I am clearly regretting this purchase and am disappointed in this product.
This is so upsetting to hear that you are not entirely satisfied with this printer. We are always grateful for our customers' feedback, as we can continuously care for their experience. This also allows us to adjust our Products' design to suit our customers' needs the best.
Due to the vague nature of the issue, I would suggest contacting us for support to resolve any issue that you may be experiencing with this device. We'd be more than happy to help you. You can find our official support site at: support.hp.com/us-en

Good printer; sucks it does not have a LAN connector nor does it double-side print. What kind of printer does not do double side printing?!

Biggest hunk of junk I've ever dealt with! Only worked once then problems with print heads and automatic paper feeder and no one would help during covid of coarse, so warranty run out and to bad so sad is all HP had to say. SAVE YOUR $500.OO, this is the worst of the worst in printers. All you get is foreign people answering the phones that you cant even understand, and sorry, so sorry. HP does not have your back on anything EVER!

Requires constant cleaning and re-alignment, and still doesn't print pages without issues. I've had this 4 months, and we use this maybe once or twice a month. It worked fine for the first month, then it started having issues. It always prints with gaps and faded areas. You have to run two different cleaning runs and the realignment process before each job to get it to print a visible document. But even after the cleans and alignment, there are still some faded spots and blank lines.
I’m sorry to hear that your printer has started rendering prints of poor quality, and that it requires cleaning and realignment so often. It’s easy to understand why this combination would be tremendously frustrating, especially considering the print quality issues remain. With that in mind, I’ll offer some resources and information I hope will help.
I can’t tell from your review what’s causing these problems or why the quality issue persists after the remedial actions, so I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and guide you through any applicable troubleshooting.
