My wife and I try to stay active. Aside from our normal jobs which have us on our feet all day, and coaching after work / weekends, we also try to workout 5-6 days a week. With that being said, we were looking for something to help with our sore muscles after our long days, and to help prep for our next day. This is a miracle device. / Setup / This is easy to get going with, plug it in to charge, the handle has a ring light that wraps around that will let you know how your battery is doing, and will pulse to let you know where it’s at in charging. You get a carrying case filled with different types of massage heads depending on what muscles you are targeting. All the controls are on the back of the device, you also get a light indicator to let you know how hard you are pressing. Honestly, the best thing is when you pair the Hypervolt to your phone. I downloaded the app on to my Z Fold3 and ran the app there. The beautiful thing about the app is that you can choose what you are trying to target and pick a preset massage routine. Then it tells you what massage head to use, and you just follow the prompts on your phone to move along the muscles you are focusing on. It really allows you get the most out of it. // Use // My wife and I love this thing. I have ended up using it almost daily, especially after tweaking my knee a bit after a long run. One of the first times I used it I had just finished running a 12-mile run and I followed one of the good night sleep routines, and my legs felt great. I felt so relaxed and had no problem getting to sleep. I’ve ended up using this mainly on my legs and feet using various routines in the app, but we’ve also used it along our backs, shoulders, and arms. I’ve used the Hypervolt a few times with out the app, but I feel the using the app is where it really shines, and I feel like I am getting the most out of each session. /// Wrap-Up /// If you have a job that wears on your body, or if you exercise; then this is something that I would recommend investing in. I have used similar products. This product is really nice and simple to use. Got my knots out of my calves and helped with lactic acid build up. 1 button. On/off. 3 different frequencies. Battery level indicator at the bottom. Regardless the percussion is pretty strong. So be aware of this in buying. Weight is nice. Does not cause fatigue in using. Battery on 1 charge has lasted over a week already in daily use for about 10 mins each. Base on that I would recommend this product.

Works well as long as you use it straight on, not angled to the body. Not easy to reach back shoulders by yourself.

I get regular massages (like once every other week) to help destress and work tight muscles from both sitting at my desk all day and from various exercise (running and weights). Impressed with how well this helps sore muscles and does it much faster than a 60 min massage. This is perfect for targeting any problem areas and I was impressed with how powerful it is. The app is good and shows you how to use it with follow along videos for various target muscle groups. Also via Bluetooth it sets the vibration to match the muscles you're working in the follow along routine that lasts just a few minutes. It also comes with a number of different attachments designed for different muscles and they are easy to swap out. I’ve used other tools and massagers in the past, but they don’t come close to this.

When connected to your phone via the HYPERICE APP and Bluetooth it is also a massage coach that guides you through step by step which attachment to use, where to apply the massager, for how long, etc. The app is really cool, I usually resist installing a million apps and making everything “connected” but this time it was worthwhile. It starts and stops the HYPERICE - HYPERVOLT 2 along with the video. If you need to switch attachments, just press pause on the app, and it stops the massager. I recommend you take the time to learn how to use the device through the apps, and don’t make the mistake that I did. As the name implies this is a “PERCUSSION” device. If you just turn it on to max and press the massage head against you, you are pummeling your muscles and it will hurt and bruise. (Think Impact Driver). Once I slowed down and followed the apps step by step it really made all the difference for me. PRO’s - Seems very sturdy - Includes Cord Adapters for use around the globe (travel) - Includes Travel Case to store attachments - 3 Speed Settings, plus Resistance monitor - Long Battery life - Helpful Battery Life Light SETUP At first, I had some issues setting it up. Although there are plenty of “cute” cards included, they really don’t give you step by step help in setting it up, other than “charge it for 4 hours”. No QR code to take to you the app store. No printed guide about how to use it overall. So, I charged it overnight, and tried to use it (without the app or instructions). Besides me using it wrong and it hurting like heck, the batteries only lasted about 3 minutes. (The Battery Light Ring was at Green about 2 min, then went from yellow to Red in a minute). I think I found the problem, that if you have the charger plugged into the massager, but not the wall (for example if it came lose / unplugged) the charging light stays on and green until the battery is depleted. Finally, after another night of charging, I tried it again. This time I downloaded the app (manual search for HYPERICE in app store). I registered my device, but I could not find anywhere to “connect to Bluetooth” in any of the app menus. After some searching, I decided to start a video “routine” and then, at the start of the video routine, it automatically scans for the device before it starts the routine. From there everything worked as expected. You have to press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to make sure it turns off. (no light on the ring). My main tip, if you are not familiar with this type of PERCUSSION massager is to hold it loosely (not like a drill), and let the attachments rub sideways, not head-on until you are more experienced. SUMMARY I think the HYPERICE - HYPERVOLT 2 is a must have for hard core athletes and serious users that are intent on working certain muscle groups, pre and post workout. This is not a “gentle chair massager” at the mall. I look forward to adding it to my routine and gain a little more relief from muscle pain.

If you’re on the fence, just buy it. This thing works wonders on sore muscles! Achy back? It’s got you. Sore legs after a workout? Say no more, just use this on it. Various attachments are actually useful in different instances. 3 speeds are plenty good for everything from surface to deep tissue. Battery life is honestly great and it’s relatively quiet to use. Only wish it came with a travel bag of some sort!

The Hypervolt 2 is a quality Percussion Massager, but it does little to stand out from the myriad of other percussion devices on the market. The Bluetooth app connection is a novel idea that impresses at first, but it is an unnecessary addition that helps to drive up the price far beyond what is necessary. I appreciate that the Hyperice App includes video guides which demonstrate proper use, but the automated Bluetooth speed/pressure control is nothing more than a novelty that is not truly needed. The mobile app can be useful, but it is difficult to navigate and often errors out. And technically, the Hyperice App can be used by anyone with any percussion massager - so it doesn’t truly add value to the brand. The Hypervolt 2 has plenty of power, but unfortunately it is not as quiet as I would like. I can complete Peloton rides while my wife watches TV, but using the Hypervolt during my cool down is noticeably distracting. During these COVID times, many of us are working out in close proximity to others and it is important to be aware that this device absolutely will be noticed due to the noise it produces. The battery life is quite good, but I would much prefer the ability to charge via USB-C as compared to the included 18V A/C Adapter style charger. I also wish that the Hypervolt came with a travel case (instead of only a small pouch for the attachments). At this higher price point, I would expect a case that can keep all accessories, the massager, and the charging cable in one place. I don’t believe there is anything truly wrong with this Percussion Massager - it is powerful enough to perform as expected and built well enough to last for years - I just don’t see a clear justification for the high price. I think that most users will be perfectly satisfied with the Hypervolt 2, I just believe that there are many lower cost options that work just as well (and which also come with a travel case and can be charged with the more convenient USB-C).

I didn’t have a great experience with the Theragun brand as its cheapest option didn’t give me multiple percussion attachments like hypervolt does. The hypervolt 2 is the second trim up and it’s really good value for your money. It’s a powerful device and comes with multiple percussion attachments to personalize your experience. I really like it. It’s very easy to use, charge lasts a very long time for my typical usage, and it feels and looks premium. It’s also very easy to change the percussion attachments. I’m very happy with my purchase.

So surprised at the power of this device. Really works in sore muscles well. Battery life is very good. Nice variety of attachments for different applications.

All in all I can say that this massager does the top, it is built with 3 levels of pulsing and comes with multiple head attachments to assure you receive the comfort you need at any point in time. The handle built with a sturdy rubber like material that makes holding the device easy. Another feature that is cool, that I will never use, is that it comes with several outlet attachments, to fit European plug-ins. Even though I would never use these attachments its still neat that it was considered in the stock features of this massager. To summarize, it charges easily, comes with several attachments and really provides the deep tissue massage that I crave from time to time.... worth picking up if you are one who suffers from muscle pain.

Best one I've had so far. Nice quality, good battery life charges pretty fast and pretty powerful. We'll see how long it lasts. I'd recommend getting the extended warranty on any massager. But so far so good nice product!

Great product for getting those soar and overworked muscles. It really helps me a lot. I am 50, so my muscles get tight from doing physical type job. I know lots of water is also important, but this Hyperice still is nice and covenient for busy schedules of peoples lives. I have save trips to the chiropractor or regular doctors visits. It was well worth the price, it is durable and has extra fittings for whatever area of the body you need to work on.

Fell in love with the previous version of this gun, and this one is even better. Great for physical therapy professionals and those seeking for personal use. Small enough to carry with you, yet powerful enough to give multiple sessions without needing to recharge. Does not loose power or strength as you apply more force.

This is what I needed for the back and shoulder pain . The first setting is good for people who dont need much power . The higher settings really massage the knots away. With lots of different kneeding attachments to choose from and long battery life. I recommend for people with really sore mucsle and use massagers . Always start on first setting and gradually go up in settings .

I purchased this percussion tool a few weeks ago. I must say it works very well specially when I have knots in my neck and upper back. It’s a life savior. It has 3 speeds but I find the first speed doing an excellent job. The battery life last a long time and when the light goes from green to yellow I just recharge it. Very easy to use.

Pretty cool - handheld variable speed personal jackhammer. The battery holds a charge for a remarkably long time … and the green light will change to amber when it’s ripe for recharging. Comes with different attachments. Overall very satisfactory and good for loosening up tight legs (or whatever ails you) after exercise.
