Product works well for coverage area. I needed something that would cover front and back. Beware best buy only gives you a 14 day return policy unless you upgrade your membership. Buy it at hyperice to get a full 30 day return policy. Best Buy needs to do better in their customer service area

Very disappointed. The unit stop holding a charge 2 weeks after the purchase. I tried to exchange it with Best Buy and they said I was 2 days out of their 14 day return policy. I had to go to the manufacture. I found out that if I was part of the exclusive best buy club, the return policy was extended. I asked what was the relevance of Best Buy if you will not assist with an exchange due to a bad product. I was told I have the choice to purchase it anywhere. I will do that moving forward. I guess Amazon has relevance now.

GREAT idea and product, absolutely amazing, actually.
Except, the app requires an internet connection to use (for no good reason, this is not a device that needs a network beyond collecting all your data). One of the benefits of this is that you can ice/heat when you aren't near ice and heat...well, forget about that if you're travelling or just in a bad wifi area. Or, just don't want creepy tracking of your usage. For a $400+ device, you don't actually OWN it, you just use it when you can be connected to their systems (which if they go down, out of business, your investment is useless), this is insane.
But, that's not the worst, the device broke after a few months and while they technically have a warranty, their support is totally useless. Been waiting weeks for a response on a repair or replacement and Hyperice/Normatec is nowhere to be found.
Luckily, Amex will likely have my back if this fails, but, really, I've now spent hours to get my $400 device to work and will likely have to spend more time to just get this to work.
Stay away. The money is better spent on buying a portable freezer and heat back or something until they fix their support and make it offline-use-friendly and don't do creepy data collection stuff.

After reading the negative reviews, I figured it was probably user error and I thought my tech savvy self wouldn't have those issues. I was completely wrong.
I can confidently say this is probably the worst electronic product I have ever purchased. The outrageous price coupled with its inability to function is just laughable. It amazes me how any company trying to come off as a premium brand would allow such a useless product to have their name on it.
When I first purchased it, I charged it over night. Upon my first use, it lasted about 30 seconds before giving me a low battery warning. This problem came and went and never resolved. Next is the issue where it can't finish a single routine without an error. Sometimes it makes it about 90% through the routine before an error, but mostly its anywhere from 2% to 15% before I get an error and have to reboot everything.
I emailed support and they copy/pasted some generic "to do list" to go through to fix the issues that their "engineers are aware of". I did all those steps and they fixed nothing. What a total joke of a $500 product.
Also the routines are just heat and cold. But they have them categorized into 20 or so routines with different names. But really its just heat and cold lol.

Hyperice and its app are very glitchy, Customer support is very slow. They offered a replacement i declined and returned Hyperice after 13days of it working sometimes but mainly cutting off during the sessions. When it did work it was awesome!

This thing has been used by everyone in our. family, but we bought it for my wife who is recovering from a total knee replacement. It works great but often crashes in the middle of a cycle. Hopefully they can do a firmware update to fix that

I hate that I’m having to return this product but the company definitely over thought this one. should have never made this product app-based. Constantly disconnects and stops working. I should have listened to the other reviews. If they would’ve just had a power, heat and cold button this product would’ve been amazing. No reason to be Bluetooth app based. This is where all the problems lie.

I have used all of this companies products. This is the least effective. Unfortunately I wanted this product to work better than it does. A good ice pack beats out this machine every time.
