Great headset and amazing battery life, but the mic quality on this is not the best for a 200 dollar headset

I've purchased HyperX before. Main complaint is when you turn off/on, the dude that goes "Power on" just takes so long. Not the worst feature, but I wish the time from power on to audio output was quicker.

These headphones are a guft for my grandson. His birthday is a month away but purchased them at a great price, I brought them early. I know he's gonna enjoy them while playing on his PS5.

I pretty much bought these for the battery life, I hate interrupting my use to recharge a set. The sound is good and they're relatively comfortable although I need to take them off and let my ears rest after some extended use. Would buy these again if I need another set and on sale like these were.

I really wanted to like the headphones but it just seems like it was overhyped.
I received my first pair and I thought they were defective because the sound quality on Windows sounds low. I literally have to turn my volume up to 80 -90 to hear my game. I exchanged them for the same pair to see if they were defective.
I decided to give the two week period to see how I like them. The sound quality is still low for me. There is a lot of bass to them in my opinion and it can be too much because I hear a static. Even when I chat on discord with my friends I hear static as they talk.
I don’t see these headset as comfortable. I think it is due to the clamping force being about 1 lb. I played a game for 3 hours straight and I have this really bad ear pain right below my ear. I believe there is a latency as well. My boyfriend and I play games together and we talk on discord I hear him outside my headphones before it comes to my headphones then he wonders why I lag in responding.
Personally, I just don’t think it’s worth the price point for multiple reasons.
I heard it’s just best to go with the Cloud 2 only because they are basically the same thing but apparently more comfortable and who needs 300 hours. You’re basically paying $100 more for 300 hour battery.
