The ear cups are not as deep as I had hoped and the sidetone is non-existent. You can hear the sidetone if there are no other sounds playing, but that defeats the purpose. I would not recommend these if hearing yourself is a concern of yours. Also would not recommend if you have a larger head.

Im old so I called a young person to help me select this gadget.He said it was Dope ,so Im guessing that means Nice .I don’t know if I used the term “Dope”correctly but it’s definitely not drugs

These headphones felt like voice audio only headphones. I had purchased them because of the reviews but I don't think they should be in the gaming headset category. Detachable mic was welcoming but the loudness failed.

Headset has terrible audio and mic quality. Compared to a Razer of equal value it's night and day. The mic sounds like you're talking to someone with a tin can. The audio also has a very flat/tin sound as well. I would never recommend this headset to anyone - even if it was free.

They Worked perfect for about 12 days. Then they just wouldn’t power up. I tried charging it, holding buttons to reset it, they won’t do anything. They are completely useless. This appears to happen to a lot of people. $200 plus for a paper weight. Will return and not sure if I should exchange or get a different kind.

Bought this product in August and now it is September there is crackling in the headset and friends complain about the quality of my mic that is on the product.

You can definitely buy better headphones for this amount of money

After 2 years and 2 months, the USB receiver stopped working. There is no replacement receiver available for purchase by HyperX, and the warranty on these headphones is two years. So essentially, the headphones themselves have been rendered as e-waste. Strongly recommend buying SteelSeries headphones instead.

If i had known they would break after only 4 months i would have gotten a plan and a different headset. I liked them when they worked. They broke so fast i cant say its a good perchase. Plugged them in to charge they stopped working when i tried to turn it on....

Not worth the money at all! My mic decided to quit working 3 weeks after purchase. Of course, it was too late to return it to the store by then and it’s the one time I don’t buy the warranty. Tech support hasn’t been any help either. Even when I wasn’t having issues with the mic, I wasn’t very impressed with the headset for $200. Too quiet and a slight lag in audio. Fired shots don’t register in your ear until almost a full second later. Don’t waste your money on this product. If you do, buy the warranty!

Keeps on disconnecting and I have to get up and unplug the usb to get it to reconnect.

Stopped working after abt a month and a half of use. It will charge but won’t turn on? HDMI bt connector gets too hot and overheats and will make the headset glitch out and then disconnect. Very regrettable purchase, should’ve just stuck with my wired headset.

Exactly what i needed, could use a tad more definition to audio ,but thats only if ur hardcore into needing to hear a pin drop in a game lol

These are the worst headphones I have ever owned. Randomly and frequently the audio will go full blast to static. It has caused injury to my hearing and almost causes cardiac arrest. I am not exaggerating. DO NOT BUY THESE HORRIBLE HEADPHONES! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

I've had them a month and the mic doesn't work that great. The sound is nothing to write home about. Honestly from all the reviews I saw online I feel like I was lied too. This was a complete waste of money.

After a year or so ago of using it. I absolutely loved it. Best headphone I ever had. But battery just died and it won't charge anymore. What a waste of $200. Didn't even last for 2 years.

This headset is hands down one of the best I ever purchased.

I normally don’t write reviews negative or positive. These headphones are amazing. I can game for hours on end without issue with comfort. The mic according to my friends is great and no noise gets in. I’ve only charged my headphones once since January 11th and it just hit 20%. I game maybe 30 hours a week and I personally love everything about these. I got them on sale but I’d pay $200 for these no problem.

The mic is terrible. On the highest setting my friends couldn't tell what I was saying. If you get this for solo play, the sound is great, but don't use it if you play with friends you need to talk to.
