BEST BATTERY LIFE ON A HEADSET 10/10

I am a Geek Squad Double agent. I have tried a lot of headsets and let me tell you? BUY IT! This headset has the best battery life of any headset on the market. I have been playing for 4 days about 6-8 hours a night and I’m at 80% battery. Sound is great I would say 8/10 you can customize it online and on consoles. Its light weight makes it extremely comfortable 10/10. I’m not a fan of the mic I wish it was a flip rather than a plug in. But it’s still not bad 6/10. Battery life 10/10 like I said this headset has the best battery life hands down. Range 10/10 I can walk across my 3400sqft home and still be able to talk. Overall an amazing buy and the price is reasonable for a great headset. I will be recommending this headset to all my clients going forward. Overall 9/10 if they fix the mic easy 10/10

I actually tried 3 headsets- the Corsair HS80 Max, Razer Blackshark V2 Pro (2023 version) and the Cloud III Wireless. I kept the Cloud III and am super happy with my choice. The out of the box sound and tuning was the best to my ears (Razer was too bassy and Corsair was too muffled, even with the SoundID custom tuning) and the Clouds were the most comfortable (though I did change out the ear cups to Wicked Cushions cooling gel ones, was going to do that regardless of the headset I kept). The battery life is awesome too! If you are torn between the same 3 headsets, I would recommend the Cloud IIIs over the Blackshark or HS80 Max’s. Very happy with my purchase.

This is the best gaming headphone I have ever used! I am a sucker for audiophile gear so I currently use the Drop PC38X open back headphones paired with a Schiit Modi/Magni stack, but I was looking for something wireless to use while I causally game and Im happy I bought the Cloud 3 Wireless! The bass is pretty tight and not boomy or muddy at all.. the mids are clear and the highs wont pierce your eardrums. The attached mic is very good and my friends all say it sounds clear. The build quality is great and they are EXTREMLY comfortable to wear coming from a guy that has a watermelon sized head! You can EQ these headphones using the HyperX Ngenuity software and it seems to work well from my experience.

Great sound and very comfortable, for the price i’d say this is the best ‘budget’ headset on the market, but can easily compete with the more premium options.

Really love these headphones. The sound is more in depth. More of a 3d sound experience when both headphones are on. They are also comfy when in long use

I’ve only had this headset for about a month. I really loved them at first, they’re super comfy, and I personally think they sound great. I started having issues with them disconnecting and reconnecting constantly, I fixed that issue, and then I started having issues with the audio having static noise. I’ve fixed it for now, but it’s still a bummer. I’ll probably go with another manufacturer next time

I really like the build of these headphones. There are a lot of pros that come along with this, for instance the buttons are a lot more responsive and you can tell when you are pressing them more so than hyperX cloud 2 wireless. Microphone quality seems really good too, the mic monitoring is incredible and you can really hear yourself well. The one con I have with this headphone that happens to be a pretty big con is the sound quality. They are nothing like the hyperX cloud 2 wireless. The surround sound just absolutely does not work so if you're listening for sounds around you they are very sharp and don't sound like natural sounds around you. There are a plethora of things I have tried to get the DTS surround sound working. Contacted HyperX support to no avail. Even searched all over the internet on solutions and this seems to be a pretty common problem. I really don't believe there will be a solution just because it is likely a firmware or software problem that hyperx simply can't fix at this point. I was really tempted to return to my cloud 2 but decided that pros on this headset just outweigh going back to a previous version.

Sound, connectivity, ease of use, and fit are all great. However the mic is a little temperamental. I keep hearing that Im cutting out. It has to be in the perfect spot, fairly close to your mouth. Its not ideal.

The HyperX Cloud III Wireless is a well‑built, comfortable, gamer‑focused headset that delivers excellent low‑latency performance and exceptional battery life—but sacrifices some audio quality, especially for music. ⸻ Comfort & Build Quality • Lightweight (~340g), with plush leatherette ear cushions and a sturdy aluminum/plastic frame—widely praised as “super comfortable” for extended play sessions . Low-Latency Wireless • Uses a 2.4 GHz USB‑C dongle, providing near-perfect wireless performance for PC, PS5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch . Exceptional Battery Life • Tested with over 120 hours of battery on a single charge —enough to last a week of heavy use without recharging. Detachable Boom Microphone • Features an angled boom mic with pop filter and LED mute indicator. The mic is crisp and cuts through game audio clearly—described as “extremely clear” and ideal for Discord/streaming . Directional Sound for Gaming • The 53 mm drivers deliver a tuned sound profile that enhances footsteps and positional cues, favoring competitive FPS play .

These is a comfortable, capable and simple headset. Want to pair it with something? PUT IN THE DONGLE. Done. Of course, this requires that your device have a USB A port (you can use an adapter if you have a pesky newfangled device with USB C, etc.). I don't know that these are actually noise-canceling, as indicated in the specs, but since they are over-ear, it gets the job done. I LOVE that the microphone boom is adjustable/flexible. I don't want to be heavy breathing into my mic, and so many headsets these days have stiff or booms you can't adjust so this is fantastic for a mouth breathing troglodyte like me. The mic is also pretty good, definitely above average. Audio quality is fine - they could stand to be louder, but I'm probably also going deaf due to ear abuse and age. Maybe I could have avoided this by not always wanting things louder. In summary, I'd recommend this headset for its simplicity, quality and comfort.

This HyperX Cloud 3 Wireless headset is a great choice if you spend time gaming or listening to videos or music. I was impressed with how comfortable they are. I will forget I even have them on when I leave my computer room. The battery life is exceptional. I can go days before charging them. While wearing them, you can press the power button quickly, and it will tell you the percentage of battery that is left. You also get several warnings about a low battery before it kicks off. As for the microphone, I am able to be heard clearly while on Discord chat or game chats. I would say the sound isn't the best with the limited graphic EQ presets in the HyperX NGENUITY app. You can adjust them on a PC and it sounds great. For console use, it doesn't feel as immersive. I have not been able to bring the settings from my computer, over to my console. Most games that I play are on PC, and the console games I play isn't a make or break thing with the sound. Overall, I am pleased with this brand and purchase. I normally purchase Razer products but with the latest headset from Razer, customer support wasn't helpful. I have found support with HyperX to be phenomenal.

I've had this headset for a year or two at this point and I can say confidently it's the best headset I have used period. Sounds wonderful, long battery life, super comfortable. I've never had an issue when it comes to using it. It also charges pretty fast, I don't have to wait long to use it when it dies which happens not that often. Definenty worth it.

Very long battery life I’ve used them for around 3 weeks and haven’t found the need to charge them yet. The battery life only tells you in 10% increments. Very light and comfortable. However, I will likely switch out the ear pieces when they start to breakdown in the future. The bass is light, but sounds are very clear which is great for games that rely heavily on footsteps and sound cues.
