Go somewhere else!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The installation guys were obviously too lazy to do any work the day I was there. I was talked into buy a more expensive radio because it came with free installation. I agreed and they set an appointment up for me. When I showed up for my appointment, I was told they couldn’t do the install because my truck had ABS. Note: the installation garage was empty and it was the end of the day. A few days later I decided to watch a few YouTube videos and install it myself. It took me about 30 minutes and had no issues. I’m done with Best Buy! Lazy!

Totally Messy Technician
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Stereo was installed in Best Buy by its technician. Everything was done to make it fit, installation job was just ok. Technician left my suv with so much dirt and debris from his cuttings and shavings of plastic and rubber. None of my vehicles have ever been left this dirty by any technician or modification. I had to wipe down and vacuum my dash board, front compartment, front and back seats and floor mats. Probably not getting anything else installed here.

Very professional Staten Island
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My receiver had to be modified to fit. Although the installer was very professional, he cut a little too much of the original casing. I accidentally pushed a CD through the opening.

I waited a month to have my car stereo broken
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I waited a month to have the "expert" at a store 45 miles away do my back up camera install. Within 1 hour of use, the whole system went dead. A day later, still dead. Very disappointing. I waited a week for the original install just to find out I would have to wait a month to have the back up camera installed. Now I have to have a 3rd appointment to fix what they broke? Ugh!! Also, from the original install, the bezel around the stereo was perfect. Now it rest about 3/16 of an inch to high on the top. May not seem like a lot and it doesn't have that clean, professional look any more. Very sad.

Terrible experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worst experience ever. The guy called me every 30 minutes with a new set of issues, followed by asking if I still wanted the install. He clearly had no desire to install this at all! He broke the clips that held my climate control in the dash, which is now sticking out a good inch and a half,he missed screws in the speakers that now rattle, and put the CarPlay connector through the center panel in such a way that the plastic is permanently buckled- he could have gone through the glove box easily. Would never recommend any installation work at Willow Grove.

Distasteful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The installer told me that they couldn't align the radio because it's not made in the U.S. like Kenwood, Sony, and Pioneer *facepalm*. Then proceeded to tell me that they cannot do an install with out completing it ( just asked for wires to be dangled because the guy refused to install a back up camera) but yet, couldn't fit the kit which left a huge hole on the dash board. Then on my way home, the driver side pillar came off, where the installer mounted the external microphone. I'm returning to this store and talking to someone more knowledgeable....

Turned away
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was turned away the day of. I assumed I got refunded but now I think I should verify it because I received this survey. So I ended up setting up the stereo myself with no previous experience. It’s working great by the way.

Head unit install
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First the appointment was set for 3:00 my wife showed up there at 2:45 and was told the schedule was messed up and they would get to it as soon as they could. So Jeep finally went in about 3:45 Then when she got home and I looked at it. It seemed to be a rushed install the gaps on the sides of the radio were there install kit mounts are way off. One side even all the way down the other side starts out small then gets bigger as it gets to the bottom. Would expect better from professional install

It might never work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.2 appointments, 4 different times with the installation person and some of my features still don’t work. He didn’t order the right harnesses first of all, missed ordering 2 different things that was needed, got those ordered and went back and the radio works, but XM doesn’t or my DVR, hand controls on the steering column some work and some don’t. Told me my time slot was up and I would have to come back!

Geek Squad Cuts Wires—now face $600 costs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Geek Squad @ 2800 N Central Expy, Plano, TX 75074 completes car audio installations like this: they cut ignition switch and various other wires behind the dash to where your car won’t start and the dealer reveals the cut wires. Then, they claim they aren’t the ones who cut wires. Have had the vehicle since 2011 and have never had work done on it aside from oil changes. Don’t make the same mistake we did trusting “Geek Squad” to work on your vehicle. I wish we had gone ANYWHERE else.

Terrible installation of in-dash media receiver
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Terrible installation of an Alpine - 7" - Android Auto/Apple® CarPlay™ - Built-in Bluetooth - In-Dash Digital Media Receiver - Black in my Toyota 4Runner. Installed in Winston-Salem, NC, in January. By October, the unit is loose and unaligned. Not user error, after touching the buttons along the bottom a few times, the unit became loose.
