This time around the installers are different crew and seem to know what they are doing. Got the car there early then went to get some food and they finished 30min early so we had a crash course on how to use the new deck they installed. I was also assured if their was any problem then let them know and they’d fix it.

Paid $99 for install of an advanced AV radio, plus harness and cables. When I drove around to get it installed, I was told there would be an additional $50 installation fee because of the extra cutting of the dashboard to get the radio to fit. I told them I wasn't going to pay an additional $50 because I had already paid extra to get the radio installed (regular dashboard install is 69.00). They hassled me for a bit and wanted me to sign the installation contract with the $50 extra fee tacked on. I told them I wasn't going to pay any more after already paying nearly $900 for the radio, harness, cables and installation. They finally agreed and installed the radio.
If BB is going to charge extra for installation, they need to notify the customer up front and not after they have already paid for everything.
I will say they did a good job installing the radio. Very secure. They vacuumed up the mess afterwards from the dashboard bits that were removed. I would recommend this service to a friend as long as they were aware of the "extra charge" up front.

I had an in-dash nav and rear camera installed. It was done in record timing and done professionally. Looks like it was stock. Very friendly and informative employees. I didnt even know Best Buy offers these services but glad they do. Cant beet the price either.

We recently purchased a new Kenwood stereo deck from our local Best Buy. It came with free installation from the Geek Squad. They called me immediately to set up an install date. Installation was done very well and it looks and sounds great in our vehicle. We are very happy with the service we received.

The Best Buy worker who installed my car radio/dash demonstrated excellent customer service, despite recent shortages on his team and other regional Best Buy stores. He also took the time to explain the issues he had with my car and how this could be remedied in the future.

I was very happy with the whole process from scheduling installation to follow up after the installation... They were able to answer all my concerns prior to the installation in insuring we had everything needed for the installation. They were very upfront about everything. As the day of installation they end up short an installer and were calling to reschedule or reschedule people. They informed me that sense my car was already there he would get it in right after is first schedule appointment but it might take longer then originally discussed. Then upon installation I detected a rattle and they took care of it that day and was done in maybe 5 minutes. Very professional installation for beginning to end.

I was very happy at first with the install of our new stereo and back up camera. The issue came once I realized that after the install my car will no longer switch modes with the A/C you can not turn the defrost on any more. I brought it back and they will not fix the issue.

The installation text was very nice at drop off and even refunded items that weren’t needed. However when we picked up the car and drove it home the front speakers sounded terrible. Adjusted the settings to filter the bass through the sub and it was much better but Not great. Checked the front speakers and they were busted. They were factory and old and couldn’t handle the high bass that it was set on when we picked it up. So had to order some new front speakers. Also the aux plug in the car doesn’t work which is kind of a bummer. They did a great job hiding the Bluetooth microphone.

BB car electronic techs installed my alpine ilx-w670 swiftly and efficiently. They even guide you with instructions on how to operate your new HU. Installation was clean/precise and the techs were very respectful of me and my car. I will come back for their services.

John W., the Autotech at the Trussville, AL store is an expert installer! His work was fast, efficient and looked like it was installed by a professional. I had a Pioneer AVH-2330 NEX installed with a Metra License Plate Back-up camera installed together. I had some electrical issues after installation that John helped my troubleshoot, and eventually he determined that I had a bad battery, even though Auto Zone tested it good. A week later, it tested bad and was replaced. There is a lifetime warranty on the installation and they will re-install factory radio for free if you ever sell the vehicle and want to keep the radio you had installed. I highly recommend Geek Squad Autotech installation!

Very professional and cordial staff. Unfortunately it took double the quoted time and the stereo placement with the new bezel was so badly misaligned that i just couldnt live with it. I didnt get the response from the staff that i needed when i brought up the badly placed stereo. I had no faith that they would be able to fix it so i took it to a local stereo store where they fixed it immediately.

I can't thank Jessy the installer enough. He is knowledgeable and extremely pleasant. He genuinely wants the customer to be happy with his work and i am. He did an excellent job even with the entire system in the store down. He used his cell phone to get the specs for my install to prevent me from needing to scheduled an appointment to complete the install. Jessy brings great value to your organization.

The install was fast and expertly done but difficult to schedule. They were booked for a month solid before I could get an appointment. When I arrived for the install, it became apparent that the instructions provided by the manufacturer for my vehicle were incorrect. I had to order an additional piece, and the store manager was nice enough to compensate me for my lost time given that I would now how to wait additional time. The mistake was certainly on the side of the installer, but they were given bad information, so it would be hard to fault the installer. My only complaint is that the price for labor was about $50 higher than I felt appropriate.

I had a new radio installed after my original stereo was damaged by mechanics during a routine service. I purchased the radio with all of the bells and whistles at Best Buy for a great price and I opted to have it installed there as well. The cost of the installation was minimal and easy to schedule. While I couldn't have it installed right away due to their bust schedule around the holidays (book in advance!) I was able to get it worked in within just a few weeks. The installation only took a few hours and I was able to take care of some errands in the shopping center where the best buy was located while I waited. I would most definitely use Geek Squad installation again.

After the first radio installation was completed on July 12th, I noticed an electrical burning smell in the car. Within a week, my car battery died. I pulled the fuse on the radio and that fixed my car battery issue. Geek Squad was able to schedule a second appointment within 48 hours of me calling. They confirmed that there was some sort of electrical issue with the first radio and wiring harness. They installed a new radio and wiring harness and all seems to be working great. Very professional looking installation. I am very pleased.
