Have a great bose soundbar system which did not allow for rear speakers. I connected this and now I have super sound in my living room. So great my family reminds me to chill with the sound. Love this simple cost effective rear speakers.

Been looking to add back speakers to my awesome sound bar. Saw these and gave them a try and absolutely love them. I was going to buy an entire new system but this did the trick and gave me true movie surround sound. It’s a great buy for the price

As this has a passthrough for a soundbar it works really well! Adjusting the delay was easy enough. If there is one thing that frustrates me is that it won't pass dolby sound that is sent to a TV over HDMI as far as I can tell, only PCM. but thats a small nitpick

    Rear speakers for 5.1 setup

I bought these because I wanted to have rear speakers for my living room but didn't want to line my walls. This is the only wireless set that I found that works with just audio in and has a delay set option. I did have to modify an example cable to plug into my rear speaker wires on the receiver to make it work but now it works great.

Not really a tru wireless speaker. They need to be plugged in to the sound bar. I wish they could be placed any where.

I wanted to have surroud sound in my room. These came in clutch because they are small that they be placed and hidden around my room. The cable I was able to hide behind my bed which is not bad. Had trouble with initial set up, but afterwards they were fine

Sound was lower pitched, muffled on some shows. These supplement sound system. Provides clarity to all shows. Used in combination provides good, clear sound. The unit can be used alone and still provides clear sound and can, in effect, replace the sound system.

Honestly, it's too much work for too little performance. It's not truly wireless. The bottom part in the photo with the red dot is the part that plugs into your soundbar or tv, the top part with the green light gets plugged up in another location and has an electrical and speaker wires coming from it. The two boxes are like walkie talkies but full of wires at each end. I added this to the same brand soundbar, it's hooked up but I rarely hear these speakers if ever although this unit also controls the soundbar. There's no screen display and all functions are displayed by the little dot light and sound. It's like trying to select options with morse code or something. Even the soundbar uses a color led to show what source it's on and you don't know what the source is until you hear the song or movie you're playing. This type of structure is something from the 90s. I still don't know how these rear speakers sound, I gave up figuring specific films will auto-activate them.

So far this has been a great add-on to my sound bar! It has an optical and rca sound option to turn your 2.1 sound bar into a 5.1 surtound sound system by using a wireless receiver system to connect the rear speakers. So far I'm loving it!

Everything works except for the remote and you have to have the remote to control the speakers or you have to get up and down every time you want to do that. I called insignia and told them about the remote the guy had me on hold for a very long time he was very helpful he was looking for a remote for me however they were unable to find that remote I had to return

I added these speakers to my soundbar. The set up was very simple. The remote control was a bit of a pain. The volume control is a bit abrupt and switches to Too loud to Too soft very easily. The timing of the rear speakers is a bit of a pain as well.

I purchased two of these Insignia wireless rear surround speaker kits as open box items. I wanted to hook them up to a Sony HT-CT100 sound bar. One of them had a defective optical output or input plug so the sound would not work using optical connection. The other one I purchased did work with optical but the sound quality wasn’t great. When I switched the sound to stereo mode with the remote it sounded very tinny with no bass at all. I know these are rear surround speakers but I would have thought they should have a little bass to add to surround effects. The other issue was that when I switched the speakers to surround mode a very faint dialogue could be heard through the rear surround speakers not just the surround effects. I was surprised at this since I thought no dialogue was supposed to be transmitted to these speakers when in rear surround mode. I’m not sure if I was doing something wrong but I couldn’t resolve this issue. It was distracting having the sound bar have the main dialogue but the rear surround also having a low volume of the same dialogue would echo off each other. I did play with the delay settings on the remote but I couldn’t adjust it to a good enough not distracting setting. I ended up returning both sets of these speakers. Best Buy to their credit was very good at taking back these speakers and providing a refund with no hassle.

Got these so my husband could put one right beside his chair and not blow me out with the TV volume, and these are perfect for that. Do keep in mind that there are wires to connect each speaker to the receiver. The sender (I'm not sure what the technical term is) hooks to the TV and wirelessly sends the signal to the receiver, so speakers can be across the room from the TV.
