Great product that provides solutions
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The IOGEAR audio switch provided good instructions for installation and I was able to get the results of sharing two computers from a single monitor, keyboard and mouse with the press of a button. Excellent product.

Way over priced
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1. This was the only model available at the store? 2. The unit would cause the monitor the flash-blink when a second computer was connected.

Basic KVM switch that is just adequate (barely)
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this KVM switch to connect two laptops to a monitor, keyboard and mouse. The USB ports are somewhat stiff and you have to be careful if you are using logitech transmitters to use wireless keyboards/mouse - I broke one trying to pull out of the port. As a result, I ended up using a wireless mouse and a wired keyboard. So the ports are poor quality. Otherwise functions as expected. Very basic and I would only buy again if on a good sale and if you cannot get a better model.

Not ready for 4K.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.dispite the packaging and the published specifications, this KVM switch is not ready to handle 4K resolutions. It can handle 4K on one input OK, but the other distorts the image badly and the monitor loses sync and shows a black screen every few seconds for 10-20 seconds at a time. If you use a lower resolution, it works fine, but it simply cannot handle two 4K video sources. This makes the switch useless for me. This is the SECOND time I've had issues like this (IOGear is making promises it can' fulfill in its marketing and technical specifications,) on two separate products. There will not be a third time.

Nice idea, poor implementation
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mac/PC setup. 32" 4K Samsung display. Perhaps I just got a bad one, but it was the only one at my store so I couldn't exchange it. The Mac worked fine, but the screen was full of flickering dots and the bottom half of the screen kept blinking in and out. The brand new PC was alright at first, but wouldn't reliably switch back after it switched to the Mac. If it worked as expected, it would have been great, but it looks and feels cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for.
