I am very satisfied with this robot vacuum. The setup was quick and easy, and it has worked great from the first use. It has strong suction power and easily picks up dust, hair, and dirt. It moves intelligently around the house and avoids obstacles well. The battery lasts a long time and it automatically returns to the charging dock. The app is user-friendly and makes it easy to schedule cleanings. It’s perfect for keeping the house clean every day with minimal effort. I definitely recommend it for its quality, performance, and great value for the price. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This Roombe is so quiet I almost had to guess if itvwas working! Does a great job for maintenance cleaning, I run it daily in high traffic areas in a 1700sq ft home. Usually take about 2 hours for a normal job, butbits so quiet I can run it late at night. The extra long brushing reaches at lot more than previous models.

This lil bot has been in the home for about 2-3 weeks now and I can confidently say as the owner of an English Mastiff and a cat this thing keeps my floors pretty much hair drool and litter free with no issue. It also comes with a self empting dust bin. The mop bin doesn't get emptied of dirty water or fluid like the dust bin but You just need some floor cleaner like Bona and it empties as the unit run the mop until it runs out of floor cleaner then you can just refill it as normal. It is best set up in the app for your experience as you can set no go zones as we have a fireplace with ash that occasionally gets on a little tile area that is a no go zone to roomba as it runs on the hardwood. Ontop of that you can also schedule when and what rooms it will clean but you have to let it create a map of your home first and you may have to tweak the map in the app that it generates just a little first before unleashing roomba into the wild so no accidents happen. I am also happy to report no pet mess horror stories thus far with roomba so with that said I am quite satisfied with my purchase for a 2 bedroom apartment and i would definitely recommend it as a starter unit!

I gave myself a chance to get another vacuum cleaner. So far I've been with her for two months and it's worked well. What I really need her is to keep my house clean every day and so far it's fulfilled the purpose. I'll be back in a couple of months and leave my review of how it kept working

When it works it works great but our roomba named Shannon tends to get stuck a lot and can’t seem to correct herself. She does not have a low view with the camera so she has no idea she’s gonna get stuck and then has no clue what to do to get unstuck. While I love the Convenience of not having to sweep and mop I hate playing babysitter to a $400 purchase that shouldn’t have this issue

I have been using this robot vacuum for a full week now and I don't have any complaints so far. Setup was fairly easy, I could not for the life of me find the correct QR code for the quick start guide, so I had to wing it. Even still, I got it done and then she was off to scan our home. Sidenote, we have only had one other robot vacuum, and that was a "Jaws" brand name, if you get my drift. We sadly returned that one after only using it 3 times. The spin brush got wrapped with hair first time vacuuming and had to be cut off, 2nd time couldn't make it back to the charging base & third time it completely disconnected from the app and I would've had to start over I think because it was frozen. So back it went, along with our hopes that these things were any good... In comes iRobot Roomba 105 Combo Vacuum & Mop! Once she scanned our home she went back to charge so she could start her first cleaning session. The scan is spot on of our home's layout. I decided to use the "deep clean" setting rather than light or normal. I wanted to see how powerful this thing actually was. Well, I'll just warn you now, it's not only louder than the other choices but runs down the battery faster (duh right). It took her quite a while to finish the whole (top floor) of the condo. She had to keep going back to charge, so it took about 6 hours from the time she started the first section to the time she completed the whole job. You can clearly see the vacuum lines, so the suction is definitely good. Battery on the deep clean could be better as she can only go MAYBE 30mins before having to return for a charge. So expect to get one (decently sized) room done at a time on deep clean. We did not have any hair get stuck in the roller, no needing help getting back to the charging base, just vacuuming. This robot vac also has the option to make schedules, for different rooms at different days & times. You pick what type of clean level but also if you want it to vacuum only, mop only, or both. I wanted it to clean the rooms we hang out in while we slept, so I scheduled those at 12am on deep clean (2 rooms), thinking that was plenty enough time to finish before we wake up and I was right. I have the kitchen set to light clean, every other day, and that only takes about 15mins to vac & mop. The mop setting is nice to have but wasn't a necessity for me. It seems to work well enough, but I will always prefer to steam mop my kitchen and bathroom to make sure all the germs are gone. You can set the schedules or simply open the app and send it to clean where/whenever you want. So far I haven't even had to empty the dust bag inside of the base. The self-emptying factor was also a must for me, and it has a bag inside instead of just the bin, so all the dust stays in rather than float back around into the air when opened. Hands down better than the other brand, and they both cost around the same amount. With this brand not only having the mopping option, but the schedules as well, and none of the issues, makes this the "clean" winner in my opinion lol :)

    Keeps floors tidy

The dumping station isn’t as big as I’d feared, so it doesn’t look unsightly against the wall. The robot sticks out into the floor, though, so you’ll need a space that the system can be kept that’s not going to get into your walking path. It has a minimum distance it’s required to be away from stairs as well. At first I was unhappy that it didn’t have a manual in the box, then realized the manual is in the app. Better that way since you won’t have to keep track of paper or remember where you filed a digital manual. You click on the robot (not support) to get to it, so that remedied that issue. I stayed around the robot while it mapped our spaces and it can see under our table pedestal so it had a little trouble figuring that out but it figured things out and the mapping got done. She made a lot of our floors one room (open plan), so I manually edited to split rooms and merge two small ones. Easy to do and easy to rename the rooms. When they say to move stuff out of the way to do mapping, I recommend that you move as much as you can, even decor that might not get moved out of the way generally. We moved dining room and office chairs out of the spaces. We had some larger stuff that will generally always be there and didn’t move them, but later when I cleaned again I moved the pieces thinking she would go ahead and sweep there, she didn’t because she had the room mapped with them there. I think I may take those decorative items and the trash can out of the way and remap. That way she can work around them when I don’t want to move stuff but clean there if I do move stuff when I want those spaces cleaned. This version doesn’t have the rotating mop pads, but after two mopping jobs the flat pad had cleaned the two spots I was watching to see if they got cleaned (they were food drops that had dried from earlier). Happy with the mopping feature. I’ve mopped twice to see how long I have until I have to refill the tank and it did two rooms with just one tank of water so I was pleased with how much it will mop at one time. I just used water for mopping. She empties herself into the dust bin on her own and be warned: the sound is loud like big vacuum when it sucks the stuff out, but it is short interlude and does a good job emptying. On one vacuuming trip she got hung up by a little bathmat in the bathroom. The app gave me a warning message so I could go check on it, though I wasn’t paying attention. She just stopped and waited. I was able to get the little rug undone from her wheel and start her back up later and she finished the job. She vacuums well, and picks up larger debris like dropped food bits. Some corners and spaces she can’t reach since she’s round, and will still need to be done with traditional cleaning but having the robot is a nice addition to keep the crumbs and dust taken care on a more regular basis than I’m doing now (with less manual effort!) I think we’re going to be happy with our new helper. Nice to keep the kitchen floor (and more) cleaner more often without too much effort.

    Good entry-level vacu-mop robot

With all these robot vacs coming out that self empty and refill water and have AI and such, there's very little attention paid to the entry-level more affordable area, which is precisely where this vacu-mop robot resides. And it's a worthwhile entry. Packaging: Well packaged, minimalist and that's fine, no complex things to put together, even the bag is already inserted into the base. Just pop on the corner brush, remove some tape and you're done. Easiest robot vacuum unboxing I have probably ever done. Setup: Easy as can be. Just add it to the app and you're good to go, it does say not to put the mop pad on or water in it during setup, likely for the mapping, which is does well. Despite being an entry level vacuum it definitely 'sees' better than even vacuums from a year or two ago, so mapping is quick and efficient without it getting lost. Use: Very straightforward, I don't have tons of experience with roomba having used most of the competitors devices before, but this one has a unique take on the charging contacts, they are spring loaded and the vacuum doesn't have to drive up a platform or ramp to get to them, they are just 'there', to me this is a far smarter design than most, as I've seen many vacuums fail over and over to settle on their base just to throw some sort of error. Enough about that, the vacuum is good, although the mop is basically a glorified pad, if you're wanting a good mopping experience, this wont be it, but it does come with two pads and they are washable, so that's a plus, but the mopping is definitely an afterthought, more akin to first generation vacu-mop robots than anything more recent, but again, this is definitely an entry level unit. The self empty works well, it doesn't appear to get stuck on many things and it's a roomba, the defacto standard. Overall: It's a good entry level vacuum, I use it on the 2nd floor of my house which is smaller and while complex enough is fine for this vacuum to manage. Again if you want more advanced mopping capabilities you'll need to look to something more expensive, but this does in a pinch.

After several days of testing the Roomba 105 Combo and Auto Empty Dock in various modes, it appears to work well thus far. Its combination of features, particularly the "combo" and "auto empty dock" options, is initially appealing, leading one to believe that maintenance would be minimal, perhaps only requiring occasional cleaning and water bin refills. However, this is not the case; be prepared to monitor it frequently and engage in more tasks than anticipated, depending on the chosen cleaning modes. One significant issue is the lack of an empty water bin indicator. The Roomba will continue to mop even when the bin is dry, requiring you to pause the device and manually check the water level by removing the bin. Therefore, frequent checks are necessary when using the mopping function. Additionally, when using the vacuum-only mode, you must remove both the mop plate and pad, and ensure the water bin is empty. These components then need to be reinstalled when you wish to mop again. In terms of cleaning performance, it is decent. The Roomba stops 2-4 inches from perpendicular walls before turning around. However, when parallel to a wall, it gets closer and cleans effectively using only its edge-sweeping brush. With the mop plate attached, the closest it can clean to a parallel wall is approximately 2 inches. On one occasion, while running in "vac + mop" mode, the device paused, and the water bin was found completely dislodged. While this might have been due to improper installation on my part, it suggests a potential for misplacement despite feeling securely installed. Furthermore, in "vac + mop" mode, the Roomba will avoid vacuuming area rugs because the mop pad cannot lift to prevent wetting them. Battery life is acceptable, varying with the selected mode. When cleaning a large area, the Roomba docks to charge once its battery reaches about 25%. It resumes cleaning approximately 1.5 hours later at around 47% charge, continuing until it drops below 30% again, which happens quickly. Consequently, cleaning a large area, depending on the type of cleaning, could take an entire day. A traditional vacuum or mop could accomplish these tasks faster and more thoroughly. The Roomba only included one extra mop pad, with no other spare parts. Given its price, it should have come with at least an extra filter and a vacuum bag for the dock station. The accompanying app is frustrating and somewhat glitchy, as are some of the Roomba 105's features. After initial setup, an update was indicated to take about 20 minutes. However, it displayed "1 minute remaining" for hours until I reset the Roomba and closed the app. Afterward, it seemed to function normally. Another app issue occurred when the Roomba returned to charge mid-cleaning; the "My Home" page displayed a charging icon with a spinning circle that never loaded the intended information. On the positive side, the Roomba is fairly quiet and moves with a purpose. We appreciated its clear communication regarding its actions, such as recalibrating its location before cleaning, returning to the empty dock station to empty the dustbin, and going back to charge. The auto-empty dock station is a definite plus as it reduces the frequency of manual dustbin emptying. It also periodically returns to empty the dustbin, though it does not do so when simply returning to charge. It's worth noting that the dustbin emptying process is loud, but no louder than operating a traditional upright vacuum. In summary, I am not entirely satisfied with the Roomba, and given its price, we don't believe it's worth the hassle. While our frustrations might not be deal-breakers for everyone, it's not ideal for older individuals. It's simply another appliance that occupies space and requires frequent monitoring and maintenance, unlike a traditional vacuum or mop that can be stored out of sight with less upkeep. While this vacuum can get the job done, it has its peculiarities. I would recommend it only to those who fully understand its limitations and capabilities.

irobot 105 i believe its suppose to be in a lower end when it comes to irobot other lineup buy but for me it almost feel like a mid rage due to its price. these irobot are not cheap and dont expect the 105 to be that way. it offer 4 stages of cleaning its a powerful suction which why I think this irobot vacuum doesnt really feel like a lower end. I dont have kids so I haven’t had much any issue with the LiDar sensor so far so I barely have anything to pick up on the floor beyond dust, so far anything on its path from my experience has almost been fairly accurate on its performance. this is not my first irobot as well the irobot 105 also offers a self emptying dock that charges itself so most of higher end features you also benefit from it. whats great about the 105 is the ability to also mop your home. you can either pick vacuum only, mop only or combinations of it’s features. Using the application I did not have any trouble setting up the irobot 105, connecting to 2.4gz, same as other irobot the app offer you the ability to set schedules, select and target a specific room you want the vacuum to clean and the ability to connect to amazon alexa. most of the information or alerts you will need will come from the app so make sure to use it regularly when using iRobot. im not much a bug fan of mopping when it comes to robot vacuum and honestly irobot 105 is as good as I expect too be. everytime it mops something in the kitchen I just dont feel fully satisfied that it cleaned it so sometimes I would watch the vacuum and eventually follow it up myself to double check that it actually did its job correctly. fee things thats you prob will not enjoy specially if youre new to irobot its that the vacuum requires a proprietary disposal bag that you eventually have to replace, these varies depending on how dirty your house is. Id say if you have a small to medium size home I highly recommend the irobot 105 it has the performance and power that a much higher end robot vacuum offers for less. the only thing is that mopping sections require a bit more manual maintenance, so you’ll need to keep up with or else this vacuum would not last when it stays dirty. either way you should be maintaining the machine to make sure it last. the pricing of irobot 105 seems to get often so check out stores like bestbuy for a special discount. Overall again if your house is not that big this probably the only thing that youll need.

I was so excited to have iRobot - Roomba 105 Combo Vac Robot Vacuum & Mop + AutoEmpty Dock. I had heard such good things about it but it did not live up to its hype. The first thing I did was charge it overnight and download the free APP. I familiarized myself with the Roomba parts and the APP. The package contained everything that I needed to use the Roomba. I was impressed with the long heavy duty electrical cord. The top of the docking station just seemed to sit on the base instead of snapping securely into place. It came with one bag that collects the dirt from the Roomba to the docking port. It was very easy to set up. The next morning I turned it on and let it map out our home. We have all hardwood floors with a few throw rugs placed around. Before it started mapping I picked up all the throw rugs, made sure there was not shoe strings where it could suck them up and so forth. It seemed to take a long time to map out our home. But it only has to do it once. When it was finished it seemed to have a hard time docking. The real test was when I used it to clean the floor. It does pick up dust, dirt and pet hair very well. It is pretty quiet until it runs into a wall. The following is why I took off a star: I went into the kitchen without any lights on and almost tripped over it. It was just setting there, doing anything. I had to use the APP to get it started again. Then it said battery was low and it was going home. It went to the dock but could not dock. It just kept trying. I tried everything and finally it docked. I have used it a few times now and it always has problems just stopping for no reason, almost like it doesn’t know where to go. I do not have the time or the ambition to follow it around and keep it going or help it dock. I expected better than this.

I've got probably the perfect situation for this vacuum - it's just my wife and I in the house, we don't have pets, and we have a lot of hard floors with rugs throughout. I was hoping to find a solution to keep things generally clean - just to reduce general maintenance (which we often didn't make time for). I've found that it's good for more than that, and after some setup hurdles, it's become something that I wasn't sure I needed but now I'm happy we don't do without. The construction and engineering is sound. Lots of plastic, obviously, but it's a sturdy version. The wheels, proximity sensors, and other movable parts have smooth actions. The app is pretty easy to use (after setup, see below). The package includes an additional microfiber mop pad, and I always appreciate when a manufacturer doesn't take every opportunity to turn my initial purchase into a long-term source of revenue. The only con was the the setup - the instructions aren't especially intuitive and there's not a concise guide to the product features. I activated the mop function and the vac was happily cruising about when my wife said "Have you put water in it?" I hadn't - but the vac didn't seem to mind. It also got stuck during the mapping process and it was a little bit of a hurdle getting that process restarted. But once those things were sorted, the vacuum started really shining. It's smart enough to avoid the rugs and mop the floors - and you can set up automation to make sure it's doing the routine you prefer. The mapping and progress is visible in the app, and it's pretty clear if something's gone wrong or if the vacuum needs your help to continue. Overall, I'm quite happy we added this to our arsenal of home devices. If you're considering an automated vacuum but you're not sure you need it, I'd encourage you to give it a try. And if you're willing to help with the setup, I think this would be a great gift for anyone aging in place, especially if they have pet hair or other routine needs.

Having a device that helps in some of the household chores is something that saves time, allowing me to do other things at the same time. With this iRobot Vac Robot Vacuum & Mop I can focus on other things while the floor cleaning is done automatically and even scheduled. In the box comes 1 Roomba 105 Combo robot, 1 LV Auto Evac Dock, 1 Extra Mop Pad. The setup process is done through the app by following the steps it indicates to start using the vacuum cleaner. The device makes a mapping of the house to be able to start cleaning, once this is done you can choose the option of vacuuming, mopping or vacuuming and mopping. The suction power of the vacuum is very good, as well as the mopping function. Once the vacuum completes the cleaning process it returns to its base so you can empty the dust and debris it collects into the bag where the debris is stored. All in all it is one of my favorite functions. The fact that once the vacuum is set up the cleaning process is automatic as well as charging the battery and emptying the dust and debris compartment saves a lot of time. Although it is always important to keep an eye on the device even though it has sensors that recognize areas where there are carpets and avoid going through those areas. In my experience I can say that this device is easy to install, easy to use either by directly pressing the buttons on the device, using the app or asking a virtual assistant on the phone to perform the cleaning at home, has very useful functions that save time, an automatic system and a sober and simple design but attractive to the eye, it is a device that does not use much space and most importantly its price is relatively affordable. If you want a robot vacuum cleaner that helps with the floor cleaning without having to worry about forgetting to charge the battery or empty the dust and debris compartment every now and then, this is a good option that I can recommend.

This nice vacuum and mop robot doesn’t take up too much space. It looks nice as well. I notice that now many items don’t come with instructions anymore and you have to find it online which is the case with this vacuum. It was pretty simple to set up and use even before I got to the instructions. It comes with a QR Code that I scanned and it took me to the app which walked me through setting it up. It took about 20 minutes to update and I let it charge to 80% before using it. I watched it as it learned the rooms to create a map. I didn’t think it was doing good and thought it would have missed some areas because it did not go along the edges like I expected. But to my surprise, the map did come out correctly. And when I did the first vacuum run, it really did vacuum all around the room and did a good job. It offers options of 3 levels of clean depending on how dirty the area is. I used the normal for the foyer and that was good enough. I used the deep clean level in the boy’s room and it worked so well that I didn’t have to vacuum again afterwards. In my bedroom, the light clean was just what I needed. So far, it is working very well and I am happy with it. I’ve used it on wood, tile, and carpet floors and all came out clean. I like that it recognized the carpet when mopping, even without me having to set that up. And while mopping, it does not leave the floors wet, which is always a thought with young children. I also like that I can customize the vacuum to zones, which I did for the foyer as that gets more traffic and always in need of cleaning. It’s also nice to be able to set zones that the vacuum should stay away from. Of course, another nice feature is the scheduler. Another great feature is that is self empties once it cleans and sometimes even in the middle of cleaning and then continues.

The Roomba was extremely easy to unbox and put together. The inner box top had simple instructions. It also included a QR code to “set up your Roomba account”, which I found out had been hacked. (See picture) When you scan it, it takes you to a website that looks legitimate for setting up your Roomba account so you can start the mapping process. Instead, after filling out my information, it takes you to a gaming website loop that charges you $50. I didn’t agree to anything on the website and just closed it out but it still charged my account and I had to get a new bank card. Alternately, I went on my apps and found the Roomba app and was able to proceed. The mapping program is simple once I found the right site. I kept thinking it would fall down the staircase but it didn’t. It’s a great little machine and cleans well, just remember not to leave any charging cords, etc. on the floor because it will tangle them up and start beeping an alarm. I would definitely recommend it, I have wood floors and it has been amazing.

The iRobot Roomba 105 Combo Vac and Mop is a decent little machine. I will start by saying that getting it unboxed and going was very easy and done within just a couple of minutes. There was only a small piece of cardboard included that walked you through the setup which was straight forward enough for anyone to do it. Once put together, I found a place in the house where we wanted to have it start from. At this point it was time to download the Roomba Home app to get it setup and going on its first trip. Initially, it finds the vacuum so you can connect it to your 2.4 ghz wi-fi network. From this point forward, you use the app to get everything else configured. For roughly an hour and twenty minutes, it created a map of the floor that we’re using it on. I do not think it would normally take this long but it had too many obstacles to move around. That’s not the machine’s fault… Once the map was completed, I was able to view a graphical representation of it on the app where you can work on adjustments such as splitting rooms, add areas to avoid, set up extra cleanings, etc. I had to run it two times in order to build it properly and have all of the areas included. You can also delete and recreate the map or, add another one such as a different floor. Using the map that it created, I started the first cleaning. From a vacuum perspective, the Roomba does a decent job at picking up stuff from the carpet. I don’t anticipate it being able to pick up piles of dirt from a spilled plant for example, but, I do think it can keep up with the everyday debris that just normally accumulates. I used the vacuum and mop combo feature for our hardwood floor in the kitchen and it was decent, not great. The water reservoir is certainly large enough for our floor which is roughly 450 square feet in total including a small ceramic tile area. You can use plain water or Roomba’s recommended solution to help get a more thorough cleaning. With it going back and forth and then going over it again the opposite direction, there was a good amount of dirt and grime removed but as I mentioned above, a deep clean with a mop will probably still be necessary on occasion just to help the Roomba keep up with every day cleanings. As a side note, there are sensors that will help the device avoid carpeting when the mop head is attached. Overall, the Roomba 105 is a good machine for general cleanings using the automations on a daily basis. I am hopeful that after a couple weeks of these automated runs, we won’t need to do so many deep cleans but with kids and pets, these may still be needed.
