Really great replacement for our Neato brand robot vacuum. Quieter and more efficient-it just dies a better job. And having the bag station makes maintenance minimal! First bag lasted approx 2 months and that bag (nice thick fabric with ingenious closing system) was packed full of animal hair and gruck. These guys know what they are doing!

If I could give it zero stars, I would. I lurchased this hoping it would work decently and its so bad. 99.9% of the time it doesn’t dock properly so it’s ALWAYS dead. Its bumper gets stuck on literally everytime I run it & there is absolutely nothing in the way. Save your time, money, and stress and just don’t purchase it tbh. Wish I could return it.

So far this little vacuum is spot on. We have 5 German shepherds or sheddars and she can keep up with the day to day dog hair and dirt! No complaints yet!

Great Robot for Long Hair Dogs. This is the best vaccum we have used that doesn't constantly get clogged and stop working. Only downside is you have to purchase vaccum bags to replace instead of just having reusable ones.

I bought this so it could vacuum under the beds. But it can do ahole lot more it recognizes objects and it olso has no go lines, so you can stop it from going where you don;t want it to go .

Bottom line: The physical machine broke down after 8-9 months. The base has intermittent but silent failures to charge the vacuume. And the app is miserable to use and its making feature constantly prevents the entire system from performing its core mission.
After almost a year, unit powers on, but the app says it "can't find the battery" so it won't clean. Rebooting the unit doesn't help. Calling support...
The base is decent when it works, but when the vacuum parks itself on the base to charge it tends to not get a good connection to the charge points and the next day won't vacuume because it's dead. There will be no notification or error message to you, you will discover this because your house is suddenly just kind of dirty after a few days and you wonder why.
The app... Is awful. It builds a map automatically. You can edit the map manually to a point, but it's not simple or easy and limited on what you can change. Every time the vacuume runs it will update the map automatically. If you have your map in a good state where all of the rooms are accurate and accounted for there is no way to stop the automatic updating. So I'm my case every single day, the vacuum will "discover" a new room; however it "discovered" that same room yesterday too. And when it discovered the new room, it deleted the room names you use to tell it what room to go vacuume and deleted scheduled clean jobs. The end effect is that the vacuum will just stop cleaning without telling you and you and you eventually figure it out because the room is just unusually dusty or something.
When it messes up your map, you can go manually replace the map with the previous map that was correct, but you have to look at every days cleaning history to find ita good map. AND when you do, it still will have deleted the room labels and deleted any scheduled jobs for that room. You then have to recreate all of your scheduled clean jobs AGAIN.
This is all kind of funny because the app is constantly nagging you to tell iRobot how your Roomba did on the last job. (Also no way to turn this nagging off without just disabling all notifications and missing a notification you actually care about.) You can tell them how it did, they aren't listening.

*Would have rated zero stars if given the option.* We bought the refurbished model and it was an amazing little helper for just about a year. We moved and when we set it up at the new house our robot all of the sudden forgot it was ours. The robot would clean when the button on top was pressed like normal but it was obviously trying to clean the mapped layout of our old home and missing large areas of the new house. When I logged into the app to connect it to our wifi I was notified that this robot was registered to another account. All attempts to remedy this situation were unsuccessful including multiple go arounds with iRobot customer service. The end result of countless calls, attempts to factory reset my unit, my issue “being looked into” by the support team, and waiting to hear back was that nothing could be done to fix the system issue causing the robit to show registered to another account despite the iRobot website showing this units serial number was in-fact registered to me. Gustomer service refered me to their exchange program where I would be offered a $100 credit for my working year old $800 robot because their system is glitched and/or is confused about who owns this unit. Seems like the lazy way out of what should have been a very simple customer service issue.
