Customers express satisfaction with the Roomba s9+’s cleaning performance, mapping features, suction power, ease of use, self-emptying capabilities, and pet hair removal. However, some users note that the robot can be noisy and that its navigation system and battery life could be improved. Do Not Buy a Roomba s9+!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Roomba s9+ has been nothing but trouble. It runs into everything and has damaged every piece of furniture that has wooden legs. it's damaged by based board trim along the walls. It looses connection with the base and won't dock. It says empty the bin when nothing is in it and the machine is cleaned spotless. It won't run and says unknow error. This thing is junk! I would never purchase anything made by Roomba again.

One of the top iRobot roomba
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does a awesome job cleaning. You can program what rooms, days and times you want the roomba to clean. Two down falls are it’s noisy and seems as tho you have to change the bags in the canister often. Not sure if it is because of the dog hair? Otherwise I love it.

Not worth it.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was initially excited to buy this product. I did my research and it had the best ratings. Given the price, I am very disappointed at how poorly it works. It gets stuck on everything. I gave it a few weeks to see if it could learn the layout of my house but it did not. The purpose of buying this was so that it could do its own thing without my assistance. I ensured to move any big objects out of the way but even at that rate it didn’t work well. It is also extremely loud. Save yourself the hassle.

Best one yet
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this S9+ to replace my Roomba 980. I have been happy with it so far. I did have one issue with it...and after calling iRobot TWICE...and two techs later...they couldnt solve my mapping problem. I googled the issue I was having...and a poster gave a suggestion that worked. iRobot tech support used to be very good...but the two I spoke with this month..were literally morons. They were supposed to elevate my call to a senior support specialist..but it could take up to 48 hrs. The specialist NEVER called! The robot is excellent...the support staff on that one day in March 2023 was horrible. I knew more about the system than THEY did!

good product
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is much more powerful than my i7, it cleans my carpet more efficiently. A little bit louder than the I7. I like the dirt disposal base, hardly need to clean the dirt box anymore.

Best roomba
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Out of the three rooms that my family's owned it's the best of the three however it still needs relatively regular maintenance for the roller brushes and you still need to make sure that you check the map and progressively adjusted to fine-tune for your floor.

Better than the mop but still disappointed…
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For are the money there are still a significant amount of uncleaned areas, lost routes to specific cleaning areas that have been programmed and error messages because it cannot find its way home. It shaped specifically to get into corners and under cupboards, but this does not fit under mine, so if you have an older home (90s or later) it probably won’t fit under your cupboards either. It’s cleaning patterns are fairly random, I would say probably 30 to 40% it does a good job, 50% is just mediocre and the rest is error. I hope with some software updates it will improve.

Great vacuum overall. Lots of features. E-z to use
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The vacuum works very well. I had a neato d7 previously. I think the neato did a better job but it’s not a huge difference. The rollers on the iRobot seem to be lower to the ground and sometimes get stuck on my area rugs. I also noticed it seems to miss areas every so often. The iRobot is better at not ramming into my baseboard but sometimes it will push a chair across the room when it can’t figure out how to get out from under it. Alexa works great with it. I can tell it to clean a room whereas the neato would not abide by no go lines if you did that. Overall I’m happy with it. The auto emptying bin is an excellent feature. If the brush weren’t quite as low and they had a way of detecting items on the floor to go around them like cords or toys this would be perfect. I think they will get there.

Much Needed Upgrade.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Much better upgrade from the i7. This vacuum doesn't get stuck as much and seems to map my home much better. The floors stay cleaner and I actually don't regret this purchase.

Not Great so far. But very convinient
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product made me extremely excited upon seeing the specs. Cleaning Base Map Functionality More suction Better corner cleaning The only one of those that has delivered is the Cleaning Base. The Base is awesome and the only downsides is the branded bags are pricey and it is decently loud when it is sucking the dust out of the vacuum. I am totally ok with that as the biggest issue with my 980 was that besides it being kinda gross to clean out, sometimes I would need to clean or even wash it out to get all the dust out. It had a very odd shape that tended to make some dust extremely difficult to clean out of the corners and such. The Map functionality works ok. It works like 85% of the time the way it is supposed to. But other times for no apparent reason it enters the areas I have marked restricted like my bathrooms. The corner cleaning is somewhat better. However even with the increased suction, I am finding more big pieces left behind than my older 980. Not a huge deal as those are easiest to pick up. But mentally seeing big pieces left behind makes it seem like it isn't cleaning well. I can say that it has been picking up a lot of dust based on the bag so it is more of a mental issue. But the main reason for the low rating is I am getting the dreaded error 31 code. In short this is a computer error that requires a new unit most of the time. They are backed up on replacements as well, but I am not really holding that against them due to covid. If you search the internet, you will see this seems way too common. So I have a vacuum that requires restart 50% of the time for being failed for no reason that I can prevent. I would give this a 4 star if the error code issue is fixed better and the mapping is improved slightly. I hate to be one of those people, but I really think my older 980 is way better... except cleaning out the dust bin which makes the S9 way better... when it actually works. First world problems, I know. But when you spend $1000+ on a Vacuum, you expect a lot and not to break in 1 to 3 months.

First Robot
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finally bowed to modern times and bought a robot. It took two battery recharges to completely map my 100% carpet house. It does an excellent vacuuming job fully automatically, even dumping the dust bin automatically! (Which is why I bought this particular model). It takes a couple hours to do my entire house, but the feature I use the most is the iPhone app that lets me simply tell it to go vacuum one specific room that I see dirt on my very light-colored carpet. It then goes very quickly directly to my selected room.

Downstairs Vacuum
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been wanting a robot vacuum for a long time. Picked this one up for my basement where the two cats hang out. Hard floors with one carpet. This Robot handles both surfaces without trouble. It even gets under some items like chairs that have cross members I didn't think it would fit under. It has also made a very good map of the floor. The app lets you designate "rooms" and is programmable to schedule different areas to clean if you don't want the robot to clean everywhere every time. This particular robot senses that something is in its way and will pause. It even empties itself which to me is a huge plus since I'm not always downstairs everyday to clean out the bin.

Ok ok
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very excited first day. But I am not sure how long dies this take to map the house and I always saw robo is not intelligent to identify the base. It hits around and takes more than 30 min to learn base. I gave high internet speed, so rule out the option of WiFi. It runs for one hour and takes break to charge. I bought this higher model based on reviews. I am not confident to leave robo home as it is stuck some times in middle or rotate 30 min to return home. I don’t recommend this. Probably lower end will also work fine I think.

Love this Roomba
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had Roomba's for the last 5 years but this one completely blows them all out of the water. The fact that it maps my house and allows me to send it to vacuum just certain areas is a genius idea. Also, not having to set up any kind of physical barriers to keep the roomba away from certain areas is another great improvement. Overall, even with the high price, this Roomba is top notch and with a dog in the house, my house is always clean of dog hair and my wood floors never show any dirt. Would definitely recommend this and have already done so to my neighbor who has bought the same one.

Didn’t realize how much we needed one.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does a good job until it gets lost. Easy to change out the parts when due for service. Our first clean was amazing how much cat and dog hair was picked up.
