So far it has gone well. "Johnny 5" is learning our plan. We've had to remove a few tasseled rugs bit worth it for the convenience of the robot. Self emptying... a breeze

Bought an ‘Open box- Excellent’ rated item. Very much disappointed.The item had heavy wear and imperfections . Came with no original box , no manuals and no accessories. Even the filter that came with it was dusty and dark. After a full charge , the vacuum lasted for about an hour before it went to charge which is not acceptable! Returned the item.

The Roomba s9+ has a fairly easy setup. Follow the steps in the app and you're good to go. You can start running the vacuum, as a vacuum, right away but functionality really comes into play once it's mapped your space. I ran about 3 vacuuming runs and a map was still not generated. On the forth run, I had trouble where the robot would spin in circles. I re-booted the vacuum and set a mapping only run. That last mapping only run finally generated a map. I haven't had any running in circle issues since. Fingers crossed. I found out later it's best to do mapping only runs first to generate the map more quickly. Once you have a map, you can set favorites to vacuum a specific room or area. You can then use those as commands through Alexa or Google Home. Overall the s9+ does a good job of picking up the dirt. You can hear it change suction power as it goes from carpet to wood or vice versa. The volume level at any point isn't all too loud. Better than earlier versions for sure. When it self empties on the charging base, that can be rather loud. Speaking of the self emptying base, one thing I don't like about the Roomba s9+ is that the bags are not necessarily reusable. If you took some time, you could pull some bulky dirt out through the hole but they are designed to be disposed of. In my opinion, they could probably go through a few full cycles before they become less effective. If you search around, you can find 3rd party bags that have a zipper so you can more easily reuse and get a little more life out of one bag.

Pretty good so far. With four dogs it works daily and the bags don’t hold up as long as advertised. Not having to mess with the roomba daily is the best part.

This vacuum is great takes a couple runs to map your floors but seems to be getting better. But the cleaning is great we have three small dogs so you can imagine the small hair we get and the vac gets them all.

Mapping wasn't quite as easy as my other Roomba 960. The extra power is nice and the map editing features are nice.

I love it. It picks up great and clean really well. I am so glad my husband gave me this for Christmas 2022.

This robot vacuum has exceeded my expectations on how well it picks up dirt and dust from the floor. It is used on both the tile and carpet and it does a fantastic job on both types of floors.

I love my Roomba. Named her Eva. She takes great care of everyday debris, and I only vacuum corners, etc. once a month now. Keep it clean, and it will perform.

Cleans very well on an unobstructed hardwood surface but, gets stuck very easily and was not as good as we had hoped for so we ended up returning it.

Excellent Product. I've been wanting this product since the first version came out a few years ago. It was worth the wait as this model has been proven to be the better one.

We have two cats and two dogs. I was spending every Saturday morning vacuuming or sweeping pet hair off the tile. This great machine we named Rosie cleans three times a week. Love it.

Luckily, I kept the i7 for the basement. She'll be returning to the living room. Can't find base. Just bangs against the nearest wall until it runs out of power. Tried all the resets they recommend

Purchased for my wife's birthday. Have had it for almost a month. She loves it. Had one issue with it wanting to clean itself to often. Wife called support and they were extremely helpful and friendly.

I have 3 (Yes 3) dogs. With laminate wood flooring and rugs... the Roomba keeps it all hair free! I go through about two vacuum bags a week with all the hair. Soo worth my money.

Our IRobot works really well. We have Wood, Tile and Carpet and it makes transitions with ease. I have noticed that it does get hung up on some areas in the carpet.

Cool design, terrible implementation. Gets constant "I'm stuck" errors even when in the middle of a hardwood floor. This is Error 31... google it. Very common, and iRobot does not have a fix for it. They just promise to send a replacement, but then they inform you there are no replacements available. Run away! Run like the wind! I returned mine after a week of struggling with it and the inept support dept.

This was an upgrade from an older model. It is more powerful, better software, and more versatile. I really think it is worth the cost.
