Glad to hear that you had no problems with the JCA153G. Sometimes there is confusion with getting this adapter to work. This adapter requires that the USB-C port that it is plugged into have a feature called display port alternate mode. Not all USB-C ports have this feature.

I couldn't make the system work. Eventually I discovered that the problem was with the Chromebook. I returned it and bought a different Chromebook, which does not need an adapter. As far as I know this adapter is fine, but I never really got a chance to test it. All I can say for certain is that it arrived promptly and appeared to be in good condition. I'm going to try to return it, because I don't need it.

The USB-C plug on this cable needs to plug into a USB-C that has a feature called Display Port Alternate Mode. Not all USB-C ports have this feature and without this feature this cable will not transmit a signal. I hope you consider j5create in the future and that you have a good day.
