This adapter should work with almost all displays with an HDMI input. The USB-C need to be plugged into a port that supports display port alternate mode. Two problems: can't charge and attach to a TV at the same time, and you're at the mercy of the oddities present on the phone screen. The camera notch causes a shift in the output video on the external screen. This also happens when I cast over WiFi, so it's not really an issue with the adapter but more of the phone design. I use an LG G8. This may not be a problem with other phones, but it is with mine.
