    This is the external hard drive the Apple Store uses, so you know it's good! I love the rugged, compact design. The fact that it's orange is kinda handy in helping you find it in a pile.

    Needed a new external hard drive for the new MacBook Pro with only USB-C ports. The adapters that I've been using on my USB3 drives have been causing crashes, so I decided to try a native USB-C drive. Works as expected. Just not many to choose from right now.

    I use this drive to edit video on the go. While I wish it was a 7200 RPM drive, it handles 1080p edits and timeline edits quite well as is. I trust throwing this in my bag, whereas I am always worried about spinning disks. There's comforting in knowing how simple it is to replace the drive should i need to.

    Very fast when copying files- I have my entire iTunes account in it instead of my hard drive. It is slower when used as a time machine and I don't particularly like haviny the the Lacey drive divided into two separate areas.
