The setup for this is a bit difficult. To put two people on it, one with a Samsung and one with an iPhone was too much work. Took a very very long time for the product to import the contacts from both phones. This will be hard for an older person to do, so if you are purchasing for an older relative, you may want to help them set it up. Also, if you are keeping this in your room, good luck in finding the settings to turn the screen off at night. Sometimes the screen randomly turns on at night, even though dim, it's an annoyance to have to say out loud, "hey Google, turn your screen off." I like this to have music to get dressed to and video chat with my sisters, who live far away. My boyfriend likes to watch basketball highlights and my kids like to ask it random questions.

A bigger & higher resolutioned screen than the Google Home HUb. More functionality with the camera (the camera can be block/turn off using the manual shutter slide). Sound quality is significantly better than the Home Hub (the Home Hub have absolutely terrible sound quality especially for music).

We have been steadily adding to our smart home over the last year, 3 Google home minis, a Google home, Hue lights throughout. Adding the Lenovo Smart Display adds the ability to see what we are searching for as well, control everything, and even do video calls. VERY PLEASED with this purchase!

This was out first Google Display and we're impressed. It has a webcam so that we can make video calls to catch up with family and a great speaker to listen to music with. We can watch Hulu or YouTube (sadly no Netflix support yet). Works with Google assistant too. All-around great device.

I love my google smart display! The only thing that I wish it had was if the alarm played music to wake you up in the morning as opposed to just the sounds. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars. Would definitely recommend! Great picture and video quality.

Nice and big display. Setup was easy and connect to my home Wi Fi without problem. Good for watching youtube and listen music. The speaker clear and loud but luck of bass. But once connect with my home Wi Fi and sound become great.

The display is crystal clear with great calibration, punchy colors make the default ambient display photos really pop. The speaker is surprisingly powerful, which I was not expecting - It's no Google Home Max, Sonos or HomePod mind you, but it's definitely serviceable for most people's needs.

Great way to get into the Google hub smart things arena without breaking the bank. We like the forward facing speaker for music too. Does all the things the Google Nest Hub Max does (camera) but smaller screen and MUCH smaller price tag.

This is the second one we bought, the first one found it's unfortunate demise when our 1 year old started to emulate us and poke the heck out of the screen - in turn pushing it off the table. This display did not last one fall, it wasn't very high but the screen ultimately crapped out. We bought a second one because we like the size and how compact it is. In fact, we already own the original Google hubs and like the form factor of this one, especially that it comes with a camera for chatting with grandma when possible. The Google hubs lack a camera for that feature, which is terrible marketing I feel. I definitely recommend this for the price and it's the perfect size for Grandparents that still have decent vision....lol.

My 1950's house is not easily brought in the the age of electronics. I've purchased a few smart devices which help. I listen to my music, get the weather and traffic report. Having recipes on a screen for the asking with out getting flour in the binding of my books is awesome!

We ended up returning ours since we have a nest hub but I like the display and build quality on this one. In the end we decided it wasn’t too much of an upgrade over our nest hub but it’s a good product. Good screen and sound.

I love this thing. Lenovo done a great job with the design, and the screen is just perfect making it much easier to interact with google assistant. Can’t wait for the Netflix support.

a novice to Google assistant but ease of learning curve of useage. the speaker and display has such convenience for all usage. Love the assess to my Pandora music at my fingertip. Also that I can open and close the camera function and feel more at ease with it.

I love this thing. The screen is a great size and the sound is good. I just wish I would be able to unlock my door with it but it says it's not compatible with that service yet. Hopefully they are able to add that.

I got this for my wife as a Christmas present for her to use in the kitchen with following online recipes. The large screen and voice prompts make it very easy to read and work through a recipe. Since we also have a YouTubeTV subscription, the display works great as a TV for the kitchen. Some friends have the Google Home Hub, so I've been able to compare the two and it's astonishing at first to see the size difference between the screens. The Google Home Hub is SO MUCH smaller than the Lenovo that it's hard to imagine using the Google Hub for anything more than accessing the weather, calendar or playing music. I know many users have concerns over the fact that the Lenovo Smart Display includes a camera and the ability to use Google Duo to make video calls, but the included camera shield takes care of any privacy issues and being able to make video calls while your hands are dirty is a very convenient feature.

Great update to the Lenovo 8" smart display. I like that it has the capability to call/face time with other people. It is stylist and the sound from the front speaker is decent. I recommend this over the Google display.

I love it and it has similarities to the Google home hub but it also has a camera included for conversations with friends etc. Great sound and picture quality and voice commands are completed with good results...the weather or anything else that is a basic command

I’m super attached to this device now, from weather to traffic to news summaries. And not to mention the obscure questions that this Google device answers & shows. You can mirror to it & watch YouTube clips. The picture & sound quality is very good.

Loved this new 10 inch display. It has a full HD 1080p which works great as a digital photo frame when idle. Speakers are just amazing. Response is little sluggish when compared with Google Home hub. Otherwise a great smart display and works what it says.

This gets four stars only because of an inability to show content in portrait mode. The large screen looks great and the speaker puts out plenty of volume. Already it has received multiple software updates improving on usability and adding new features.
