This is a nice microwave with a very sleek design that looks very nice. Only downfall is there is no timer. All my previous microwaves had timers, and although it’s not necessary, I miss having one as I used it quite frequently with cooking. Very strong microwave that heats very fast.

We purchased an appliance bundle during the Memorial Day sale. I must say, the LG appliances all match and look great together. The microwave is pretty straight forward- generally works like most other microwaves. There's a button for "melt" and another for "soften", but no way to discover the settings for chocolate, butter, ice cream, cream cheese, etc, unless you get out the manual or memorize the little chart. THERE IS ALSO NO KITCHEN TIMER!! Apparently, there is a way to set a timer by choosing 0% power and setting the microwave to "hold"...thanks, but no thanks. I'll tell Google to set a timer, it's faster and my microwave tray wont be spinning needlessly.

The microwave works really well. Easy to use. The only thing I would change is a quick minute button ( only had 30sec) but all in all a good unit

Microwave looks nice and does of good job. It is a bit loud when in operation and does not have a timer.

Works fine. Fan is a little loud. Has no timer only function. Work-around is to set power to zero for timed cook but then the noisy fan comes on. Inside is dark color so inside looks dark even with oven light on. Other than those small thins, oven works well and is attractive.

Replaced a failed Maytag one. Only real down marks are 1) It is louder than the old one. Mainly the vent at the top 2) The mounting instructions could be better 3) There is no timer Other than that it's a good model

Works great so far - about one your in and all is good. HAs a view nice features, like softening butter or ice cream. The only thing we are missing here is a (just) timer function.

We had limited options due to size above our range, but selected this LG based on looks and previous positive experiences with LG. This unit gets the job done for a reasonable price. Although, no timer on microwave is crazy! Had I known it didn't have that basic feature, I probably would not have purchased it. Also, the light inside microwave and light below the microwave are extremely dim.

The microwave is easy to use. I wasn't looking for a top of the line microwave, bc I rarely use it. There isn't a timer and some people may not like that. It doesn't bother me. The oven has a timer and I use my Alexa.

Love this microwave but one thing I miss it having that surprised me was just a timer. Not while the microwave is running but just a standard timer. Otherwise, it has great features like a soften and melt feature.

Nice over the range microwave. Just the perfect size. LG should have incorporated a timer for other cooking situations, just a minor thing I miss from old microwave.

I should have looked a little closer. This does not have a stand alone timer. I really miss that feature. However it does a great job for me.

This was easy to install and so quiet. I like that it came with a rack. Plenty of room inside. I'm giving it 4 stars as it does not come with a timer

nice basic microwave. Only negatives would be light inside is not very bright and it has no timer. It says it does even when we called customer service they told us how to use it but did not work, called again and another person said no timer.

Good over the stove microwave. Would like to have a kitchen timer built in along with multiple levels of light settings. I also like a “speed start” feature found on GE for one button heating for 1 min. to 6 min.

I bought this to replace a gold-star microwave that was 8 years old. It does the job so far the only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have a timer but no big deal.

Bought this to replace a broken microwave, Best Buy was great on the installation and the microwave works great. Just one caveat, it doesn't have a count down timer - if you want that, look for another model.

Everything is perfect except the timer isn't a cooking timer. Its the same as you entering a time to cook. The unit cooks/run when you the timer. A bit a miss leading on LG part.

This microwave oven works well for us. It cooks my pot pie for lunch easily. We use it several times each day. We like the ‘Soften’ function. The only thing missing is a kitchen timer feature.
