    Let’s start at the beginning. (September) As with some of the other reviews I found this installation to be extremely difficult as the paper template was extremely poor. Drill holes were off, and making sure to focus my attention on the right lines and arrows as I prepared to attach the paper to the under side of my cabinet was a struggle. Then (November), we used the microwave for two months and it stopped working. Just dead, no display, not lights, nothing. My power was fine, no tripped breakers and the outlet still provided power. I told myself that manufacturer defects happen and to just work through the warranty process. Well the warranty process was ridiculous as LG required the repair company to obtain parts from some international location that took weeks to get here. Here we are beginning of May and the unit has again died in the same fashion. No display, no lights, NOTHING. I’ve placed a warranty ticket but I just want my money back. LG has a good thing with TVs but their kitchen appliances are for the birds!!

    We purchased this item which wasn't in stock. It was shipped to us. We had it installed and it stopped working within 2 weeks. It took LG over 2 weeks for find a service provider in our area. We are still waiting for repair parts. We will be waiting over a month before we can use our new microwave oven again.

    I bought this microwave LMV1762 in Oct 2018 along with other LG appliances and did not install it until I purchased some new cabinets which were installed today Nov 7 2019. My other LG products are amazing - stove, refrigerator , washer, dryer all super... This microwave makes noise- the turntable jerks and does not turn smoothly . It has a defective turntable motor I guess ! Unfortunately the unit is out of warranty which is for only one year- not of use but from the time of purchase ! So it you get an appliance - check it out right away! Life is "NOT" Good sometimes !!! An appliance that does not work has no quality, value and is not easy to use! Where is the quality control ?

    Barely vents any air. Don't go LG

    Purchased this microwave and installed it myself. This was a typical installation compared to other OVR microwaves I have installed. The template they give you is basically worthless. I got everything installed and turned on the venting and it barely sucked any air from the bottom vents. I called LG thinking possibly a installation or defective product. Their customer service was terrible. Not one person I spoke with could speak intelligently about the product. They ended up sending a tech out and he never showed up, apparently he was given the wrong address. I will be returning this microwave and purchasing another brand besides LG due to the terrible customer service.

    Broke after 1.8 years (didn't even make 2 years)

    Bought in July 2020, worked fine until recently.. of course it is out of warranty. The unit's internal light, table and the heating piece all stop functioning after about 5 to 10 seconds. The blower and display still work but that's it. Kind of disappointing? Yeah this is their low end unit but still a darn shame I gotta go get a new one and re-install. Since I'm this disappointed I won't be buying another LG although it seems like all brands stink these days.

    Microwave works great. It is actually more powerful then the last one. Easier to keep clean. Buttons are easy to read and simple to operate.

    Noisy,Loud, Vibrates, only way door closes is to slam the door. It really is a terrible microwave. The vibration makes it sound tinny.

    Very disappointed with this microwave because the display light does not match the stove, fridge, or dishwasher which I purchased all together.. I contacted LG, spoke with Best Buy workers and nobody could even tell me what if any model would match my other appliances!!! Why wouldn’t all LG appliances have the same display lights, that is why I bought all the same brand so everything would match!! It would be nice to get an actual response to my experience!!!!!!!

    LG isn’t worth the money

    I’ve had the microwave for just over a year and a half and the handle broke and when I looked it up it’s a common thing for this product. Now at two years of having the microwave it doesn’t heat at all just long enough for any factory warranty to expire

    I’ve had problems with every appliance in the LG set that we purchased less than 2 years ago. Their customer service is terrible and their products are junk. The microwave went out completely, the refrigerator went out at 6 months the dishwasher doesn’t work well and the plate that holds the clock and buttons on the stove broke recently. STAY AWAY!

    Cooking time resets when the timer hits "0"

    nice looking microwave, but at times it will cook longer than the time you enter...you set it for 1:30 and when it hits "0" it resets for another 1:30. So I have to watch all cooking, because it happens intermittently. Sadly, I have to buy another microwave - it will not be LG.

    THE microwave was missing a bracket. It was also missing the two vents screens which go underneath microwave as it is a over the stove type unit. There is noLG website to order parts

    The worst microwave I ever own. It sounds like a lawnmower when in use. All the filters are falling out from underneath. And the lightning, stop working. I think Best Buy sold me a not well refurbished appliance.

    Didn’t even plug it in. Hung it on the wall and realized the back is taller/longer than the front of the microwave. Doesn’t sound like a big deal, but anyone and everyone can now see the bottom of the microwave...why would it be designed to angle/face out? Returned.
